After a hard fight with an akuma, Ladybug and Chat Noir are currently just waiting for their miraculous to beep to signal that it would be time to depart. Despite it being a tough battle, Tikki and Plagg weren't super tired due to being recharged in the middle of the akuma attack. Ladybug and Chat were just sitting atop the Effiel Tower enjoying the view at this time.

"M'lady?" Chat quietly asks.

Turning her head towards him, Ladybug sweetly replies back with, "Yes, Chat?"

"Why'd you do that??" Chat almost whispers out.

"Do what, Kitty?" Ladybug questions in utter confusion.

"Why did you....
Why did you sacrifice yourself for me in the akuma attack, Ladybug???
Why did you do it? You could have been killed!"

In absolute shock, Ladybug sits and stares at Chat Noir with his head in his hands, trying to hold back his tears from streaming.

"Why did you do it Ladybug? I almost lost you! I can't lose you!" Chat sobs out, his tears finally pushing their way through.

"Oh. Chat... Come here," Ladybug says comfortingly, while embracing her partner into a tight hug.

Gladly accepting the embrace, Chat buries his face into her neck and keeps sobbing from the thought of losing his wonderful Bugaboo.

"Shhhh, it's okay Chat. I'm here, it's okay," Ladybug quietly speaks out to comfort Chat Noir, while softly petting his head of messy blonde locks of hair.

"But... y-you wouldn't h-have been fine. I-i-f you d-d-died, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. It is all my fault you had to do that. If I was only looking out, I wouldn't have been hit....
You would probably be better without me anyways, Ladybug. I'm bad luck and I slow you down," Chat sniffs out, his sobs turning into quiet hiccups.

Staring at her partner, Ladybug feels her blood starting to boil.

Chat Noir thinks he is just a piece of dirt compared to me? What, no! He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and we would never be able to save Paris if we didn't work TOGETHER like we do. I wouldn't be able to lose him either, Ladybug thinks to herself.

Before she can think what she's doing through, Ladybug pulls Chat's head away from her and stares at him.

"Chat, look at me!"

Slowly raising his eyes, he didn't expect to see his Lady's eyes look so fierce with anger flashing amidst them.

"Now you listen here, Chat. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are an incredibly talented and amazing person. And don't you think EVER again that for a second I think you are a so-called sidekick and that I don't need you. Imagine what I have to go through everyyy time you sacrifice yourself for me! I can't bear it. I can't lose you either, Chat! Please don't think that of yourself. You are too great to die or be seriously injured. I wouldn't be able to live at all if you left me. Please, Chat, kitty.... Don't hurt yourself because to me! I can't watch you deliberately throw yourself I'm front of danger anymore, for me!" Ladybug sternly says, tears brimming in her eyes.

Yet before she lets Chat respond, Ladybug kisses him.

The kiss lasts until she pulls away for air, but only to dive in again to Chat's lips. Regaining his senses of his surroundings, Chat melts into the second kiss and pulls Ladybug to him tightly. After breaking away a second time, Ladybug stares into Chat's bright emerald green eyes.

"Promise me, Chat? That you will never leave me or deliberately put yourself in harm's way?"

"I promise, M'lady."

"Also, Chat....
I  love you."

"I love you too, Bugaboo."

Beep beep beep

Their miraculouses.

Not even caring anymore, both heros revert back to their civilian selves. Taking a look at each other to see their partner's identity.

"Mari?" Adrien questions.

"Adrien?" Marinette questions back.

"Will this change anything between us now?" Marinette quietly asks, looking down.

"Not at all, Princess. Well, except that I am going to kiss you more now," Adrien replies with a smirk.

Taking Marinette's chin in his hand, he brings her eyes back up to look at him.

"I still love you. And you still love me. That's all that matters," Adrien confidently says, before pulling her back into another heartfelt and loving kiss.

The new couple then spent the rest of the night enjoying the view of Paris with each other. Together.
