III. "Goodbye."

Notes: This is actually pretty sad and I personally love sad stories so whoop
Italics means it is a flashback.
LISTEN TO THE VIDEO IT MAKES IT 10 TIMES NICER

This wasn't what Chat Noir wanted. This wasn't what Chat Noir had intended. This was like a bad dream to him; a dream that causes his head to spin and blood to boil. His stomach felt like it had dropped to the floor as he held his partner in front of him. Blood was everywhere. If only she hadn't taken the hit...

Why, Ladybug?

"Say goodbye to your precious Chat Noir forever, ladybug!" The necromancer said. He had casted his spell and took out his wand. A black light had flew across the scene. It had felt like it happened in slow motion. She came. She got in front. She took the hit. She fell back.

"LADYBUG!"

As if life wasn't bad enough. He held the girl in his arms as warm tears escaped his eyes. They slowly made its way down his face. The love of his life, dying right in his arms.

"Why would you do this Ladybug?" He held onto her tighter. He didn't want to let her go.

The girls hand slowly made its way up. She cupped his face as he held onto her hand. "It's because I love you..." She whispered. The tears fell down her face. They mixed with the blood leaving a sting for Marinette.

"No... No!" Ladybug why. Why would you do this...  I don't deserve this."

The way he felt... He couldn't explain it. Anger. Sadness. Grief. He all felt those emotions. Many thoughts raced through his head.

What if she dies?

What if I die?

Can I save her?

Will I be able to save her?

He didn't know what to do. HE felt like giving up; he couldn't. He know that he couldn't. He knew what Ladybug would have wanted him to fight for the people of Paris, but the people wasn't who he wanted to fight for. Chat wanted to fight for Ladybug, his love. He wanted her to know how much he loved her. He had sworn that he would fight until his time has come too.

A small beep was heard from the both of them. He brushed hair behind Marinette's ear. It was the last spot. Her transformation was done. Ladybug was gone. ladybugs body has weakened, for she had gone back to her regular self.

Chat watched in awe as the particles had transformed her back to her normal self. The pink shoes... The grey blazer... The pink jeans. It was all too familiar. It was Marinette.

"Marinette?" Chat cried.

There was no answer.

Chat's eyes widened. After all this time, it was her. Marinette had died in his arms. He hated himself. Why didn't he know. Why didn't he just figure out that it was Marinette. He could have told her so may things.  Things he would've told to Ladybug. He just wished... He realized.

Maybe this was all of my fault; he thought.

"I'm the cause of this. I am worthless. I can't do this anymore. I can't protect Paris. Not without Marinette..." He stared at the lifeless body that he held close to him.

"Oh what a shame. It's too bad that shes dead. Oh, a pity yes in DEAD." The boy laughed. "Get it?"

Chat set down Marinette, and stood up. "I'll kill you, you demonic boy."

Tap. Tap. Tap. The rain hit his umbrella as he held the bouquet of flowers in his hands. The grave cememted grave was damp as it read "M A R R I N E T T E"

He placed the geranium flowesr down on the grass.

"I love you, Marinette."
