Marinette came through the door of her parents's bakery. With a horrible headache. The bell above her rang, Sabine peeked out of the kitchen.

"Oh dear! How are you feeling? Better?" Sabine asked sweetly, walking towards her daughter.

"Not a bit better." Marinette replied, rubbing her eyes softly.

"Oh my."

But Marinette's gaze was drawn to the blonde who peeked behind Sabine. "Adrien?" When she was about to hugged him, a pair of violet eyes that peeked above Adrien's shoulder.

"Is nice to see you again Mari."

"It's nice to see you too..." kitty, kitty!

They locked eyes, there just was something about each other eyes that they couldn't look away. But the girl smack Adrien's shoulder. He wince and quickly look away. "Uh.. Marinette this's my g-girlfriend, Mae."

Though his tone sounded disappointed, frustrated, sad. It wasn't the classic grin that everyone uses to show off their dates.

Mae shoved her hand on front of Marinette,
she shook Mae's hand gently, "Nice to meet you." Marinette smiled sheepishly, making Adrien's heart melt.

"Nice to meet you too." Mae replied, smacking the blonde again.

"Can you excuse us for a moment?" Mae asked sweetly, already dragging Adrien away.

"I guess." Marinette mumbled, sliding into a chair.

"Adrien why are you staring at her?" She asked annoyed, looking right through Adrien's neon green eyes.

"Look, freak girlfriend, Marinette was an old classmate of mine. I'm just surprised how much she has changed." He peeked over Marinette who was reading Anna and the French kiss (A/N: Has Anyone read that book?), placing her glasses on. Which to Adrien, she looked even cuter.

Unconsciously, Adrien bit his lower lip, only to get smack again. "Mm? You sure about that?" Mae crossed her arms over her chest, tapping her foot against the floor. He looked away as she continued. "Besides, she's pregnant, you got no chance there."

Adrien who was too busy daydreaming was literally punch to reality. "Say what now?!" He abruptly snapped his head towards Marinette again. His gaze looking below the table. In which Marinette was rubbing her perhaps 4 month old belly as she read.

"Shit." He mumbled

"Yes shit, now lets go home. It's getting late." She demanded already walking towards the door. But the blonde didn't move from his position, his eyes still glued to the Bluenette.

"You go, my shift hasn't ended." He grinned over his girlfriend who stormed off angrily.

As soon as she was out of sight, he took a sit on front Marinette. "How have you been? How was London?" He asked sweetly, trying to ignore his strong feeling of touching her.

"Mm?" Marinette looked up from her book, she took off her glasses to then stuff them and the book in her purse. She was waiting for Adrien to talk but he was too busy admiring her, her cheeks, lips, eyes.

"Adrien?"

"Wh-what?" Adrien snuck into reality by what he considered an angelic voice, "I mean, how have you been? how was London?" He laughed nervously, blushing a deep color red when her bare leg brushed against his.

"It was good, fun. I finished my studies and here I am. Looking for a job." She smiled kindly, "Also, I met someone," she slide her hands on top of table, Adrien immediately caught sight of what it look like engagement ring.

He quickly interrupted, "You're engaged?"

That tone again, disappointed, frustrated, sad.

"No, No. This a promise ring. When I left London, he told me that he'll find me.
And wait for me." She hid her face on her hands, trying to hide her tears. But it turn into sobbing. She stood up, facing away from him.

Adrien's eyes winded, he quickly scattered off his seat. He hugged her tenderly, fondling her back gently. "I came here, 2 weeks later, I found I was pregnant with his child," she cried harder, "And  I d-don't know where h-he is.."

They pulled away from the hug though he still held her. Like she was a porcelain doll. Softly.

Their eyes met, he took both of her hands and wiped the tears from her eyes. To then rubbed her cheeks.

"I've found you. I've waited. I love you."

He kiss her deeply. Like he'd loved her since the beginning. Their lips brushed against each other like they'd longed for each other for centuries. Their bodies crashed against each other like they'd felt unsafely until that moment.

The moment broke apart when their lungs needed air. Yet their bodies didn't moved an inch. The warmth, the feeling of their bodies pressed against each other was too satisfying to depart.

Marinette hid her face on the adrien's neck. "Don't leave me Adrien, D-Don't leave me please." As she hid her face deeper
onto his neck. Griping onto Adrien's shoulder.

"I'll never."

He swept her off her feet. And carried her in bridal style, upstairs. Brushing a kiss on her forehead in the process

From the distance someone watched, "I've found you, I've waited for you though I've lost you." He cried silently. Sliding off his promise ring. And left. Yet that didn't mean he was going to give up on her.
