3rd Person POV

"Why did you keep this bracelet? Were you just stringing me along this whole time? When you had feelings for Marinette?" Kagami spoke with strain in her voice.

"No Kagami, I would never do that to you. This is all just a misunderstanding.  I-I-I" He tried to explain.

"Save it Agreste, I don't even want to talk to you right now or ever. Oh and here's the bracelet." She spoke, before throwing it on the bench, stomping out of the room.

Adrien picks up the bracelet and examines it in his hand. Suddenly something clicked within his mind.  Do I really have feelings for Marinette?

As the days go by Adrien notice a change within Marinette's behavior. She is more closed off towards everyone including her best friends. She does not seem as happy as her go-to cheerful self. Kagami's last words then echoed through his mind.

One night when he's out doing patrol as Chat Noir, he notices Marinette on her balcony and decides to drop by as he gets closer he realizes that she is sobbing uncontrollably.

Marinette has been hiding many things from her friends but she can't say a word. She asked them to give her space because she's just going through a lot and she doesn't wanna be bothered. But, Alya keeps pushing and pushing and Marinette finally had enough.

"I just can't do this right now! I- I can't tell you what's wrong, I don't want to tell you what's wrong. I just want to be left alone." Marinette exclaimed.

"Fine Marinette, be that way. I tried being a good friend to you, and here you are wallowing in self-pity for what? What happened to the girl I used know?!"

"Wow, you should understand that I don't want to talk about everything that's going on in my life. And that you should respect my boundaries when it comes to certain things. I thought you out of all people would understand that." Her voice cracked slightly.

"Best friends should be open with each other about everything. I never hide anything from you so why do you insist on hiding things from me? It's not fair Marinette, we are supposed to be best friends isn't there trust in that?"

"And I thought best friends, would give each other the benefit of the doubt when it comes to things."

She scoffed, "You know what I am so over this conversation. Don't come crying to me about your problems anymore because I won't be there." She spoke before storming out of Marinette's room.

Marinette tried holding back her tears but to no avail, her emotions fell. She stumbled up to her balcony to get some fresh air. When she finally made it on top of her balcony. She collapsed on one of the chairs, pulling her knees up to her chest and bawling her eyes out.

Chat Noir approached her cautiously without trying to startle her. He kneels down beside her and gently brought her into a hug. She clung to him, tightly wrapping her arms around his shoulders. After a while, her cries calmed. Marinette pulled away from him slightly looking into his bright green eyes. He brought his hand up to her cheek wiping away her fallen tears.

"I lost my best friend and I probably won't have any friends by tomorrow. Just because of this one thing. One thing that I have to keep hidden away from everyone. The burden I have to hold on my shoulders just to protect this city. The one thing that is holding me back in life. The one thing that no one can ever know. And that's...me being Ladybug."

Zee: Hey guys it's Zee! I had another book idea shocker I know! But instead of typing the whole book with a plotline, I decided to make a one-shot book! So whenever I have an idea, I'll make it into a one-shot. I really had fun typing out this idea, I had a few days ago with the help of Skittle!!!
