"How can I tell my parents about this?" Marinette said, looking at her medical test results.

"Marinette, you co realize that you have to give me to someone you trust until you heal." Tikki said and Marinette looked at her.

"But-"

"Marinette we're not talking about common cold or flu, you have Leukemia. You can't be Ladybug like that." Tikki said and Marinette started crying.

"I know Tikki." Marinette said then grabbed Tikki's bag and Tikki got inside it. Marinette grabbed her backpack and placed her test results in it and walked down to her parents, she greeted them and left the house.

She walked to school and walked up to Alya, she placed a fake smile on her face as she hugged her best friend.

"Morning girl." Alya said and Marinette pulled away from the hug.

"Morning Alya, how was your weekend?" Marinette asked and Alya pulled out her phone.

"You won't believe what I have for you, I wrote a blog on the Ladyblog saying that there's something off with Ladybug. She's not the usual cheerful Ladybug we all know." Alya said and Marinette gulped.

"Maybe there's something going on in her personal life?" Marinette said and Alya rolled her eyes.

"Maybe, but if she needs us then she must know that all her fans are here for her." Alya said the the bell rang, the two went to class and sat in their seats.

The day passed and Marinette went back home, she went up to her room and took a deep breath, Tikki flew out of her bag and looked at her holder.

"I'll go tell my parents." Marinette said, pulling out the test results from her bag.

"Do it Marinette, and before you go to the hospital then you have to give me to someone you trust that will save Paris anytime." Tikki said and Marinette nodded and left her room.

"Mom, Dad." Marinette said, looking at her parents who were sitting on the couch.

"Yes Marinette, is everything okay?" Sabine asked and Marinette walked up to them and gave them the test results.

"I just received it today." Marinette said and Tom opened the test results, her parents read it and tears started falling down their cheeks.

"N-No.... There must be something wrong! There's no way you have cancer." Sabine cried and Marinette ran into her parents arms.

"Marinette you're strong, you can do this. You can beat it." Tom sobbed, holding his daughter for dear life.

"Mom... Dad... I love you, so much." Marinette muttered and stayed in her parents' arms until she spoke up again.

"I'll go to the hospital after two days to start the treatment." Marinette said and she pulled away to look at her parents.

"We'll visit you everyday Marinette." Sabine said and Marinette smiled.

"Hey Juleka, can I speak to you in private?" Marinette said to her purple haired friend.

"Okay." Juleka said and followed Marinette into an empty classroom.

"Juleka I'm going to tell you something that no one must know about." Marinette said and Juleka nodded.

"What's going on?" Juleka asked and Marinette gave her a box.

"I have Leukemia and I'm going to the hospital tomorrow." Marinette said as Juleka took the box from her before gasping and staring at Marinette.

"Wh-Wh-What?" Juleka said as tears formed in her eyes.

"This box has Ladybug's miraculous, my miraculous. I want you to be Ladybug, it's either going to be temporary or forever." Marinette said and Juleka sobbed and hugged Marinette.

"It's going to be temporary, you'll come back. You'll beat it, just like how you defeated all those akumas. Believe in yourself Marinette." Juleka said and Marinette pulled away from the hug.

"Please take care of Tikki, she's my kwami." Marinette said and Juleka nodded.

"I have to go, I'll see you soon Juleka." Marinette said and walked out of the classroom.

Juleka opened the box and Tikki came out of the box, Juleka looked at the sad kwami and placed the earrings and smiled at Tikki.

"I know she'll come back Tikki, Marinette is strong and she'll come back." Juleka said and Tikki nodded.

"I believe in her too." Tikki said and Juleka smiled and Tikki flew in Juleka's bag.

"Adrien, this letter is for you." Nathalie said, walking into Adrien's room where he was hanging out with his father.

"Thanks Nathalie." Adrien said, taking the letter from Nathalie and she left the room.

"Weird, I never get letters." Adrien muttered, examining the letter.

"You should read it, I'll stay here. It may be important" Gabriel said and Adrien slowly opened the envelope.

Dear Adrien

While you're reading this I'm in the hospital starting my treatment, you won't see me in school anymore. And I have my reasons.

Ever since you gave me your umbrella and I felt something towards you, your kindess, generosity, personality, everything about you is just perfect.

I wanted to tell you that by myself not in a letter but it's too late. Adrien I love you, I know you may not return those feelings back but I'm broken enough so that won't hurt.

You may be asking why I'm in the hospital, it's because I'm sick. I have a fatal disease, Leukemia. I got my results yesterday and told my parents about it.

I don't know whether I'll make it ir not but I want to tell you something.

Adrien dropped the letter, tears streaming down his cheeks and falling down on his jeans. Gabriel picked up the letter and read it, a few tears escaped his eyes and hugged his son.

"She will not die, I never met someone like her before. She will not die." Adrien cried as he burried his head into his father's chest.

"Yes Juleka?" Alya asked and Juleka gave her a letter.

"M-Marinette wanted me to give this to you." Juleka stuttered, giving the letter to Alya and walked up to her.

"N-No... There's no way." Alya muttered with tears in her eyes, Nino picked up the letter and read it, soon he joined Alya crying.

"What did Maritrash give you that made you cry? Onions?" Chloé laughed and took the letter, Sabrina came behind her and read the letter.

"Oh lord." Sabrina muttered, tears escaping her eyes and Chloé placed the letter slowly on the table.

The whole class read the letter and started crying over Marinette.

"Guys!" Chloé yelled, getting everyone's attention.

"That's not what Marinette wants, she did everything in her hands to make us happy! She helped us in many things and this is our time to show her that we'll never forget her. She did great things to each and everyone of us JUST to make us smile. Let us all wipe off those tears and stand by her, she needs us. How many times did she help us when we were in need and when she needs us we don't help her?! That's just heartless! Let us all help her. She needs us!" Chloé screamed, everyone stared at her in shock at what she just said.

"I know you never expected me to say such words but she taught me something, she taught me that it doesn't matter if you have money or not, being rich means what you give to people, how many people smiled because of you." Chloé said and took a deep breath.

It was time for patrol, Juleka stared and Tikki and sighed, "How will Chat Noir take this in? He's in love with Marinette."

"I know Juleka, just give him the letter." Tikki said and Juleka nodded and transformed, she took the letter and jumped out of her window, arriving at the Eiffel tower.

"Good evening m'la- who are you?" Chat asked as he turned to Juleka, she stared at him and a few tears escaped ger eyes and gave him the letter. "This will explain."

Two years Chat Noir has been visiting Marinette since Juleka told him who the real Ladybug is.

Two years since Marinette left to the hospital

Two years Master Fu has been visiting Marinette

Two years Juleka and Tikki visit Marinette

Two year all of Marinette's friends have been visiting her

Two years Tom and Sabine have been visiting their daughter.

Until this day.

"Marinette, I have news." The doctor said as he entered Marinette's room.

"What is it?" Marinette asked and the doctor gave her the test results.

Marinette read the results and a smile formed on her face.

"You can leave, anytime you want." The doctor said and Marinette sprung out of her bed and hugged the doctor.

"I'm alive, I made it." Marinette muttered and the doctor hugged her back.

"That's because you believed in yourself, you are strong." The doctor said and Marinette pulled away, she quickly packed her bags and left the hospital.

She took a cab back to her house and got in the bakery with her bag.

"Welcome to-" Sabine stopped as she turned around and gasped at the sight of her daughter.

"MARINETTE!" She screamed, getting Tom's attention and the two hugged their daughter tightly.

"We missed you darling." Tom said and Marinette pulled away.

"I missed you guys too, but now I have to surprise my friends." Marinette said and rushed out of the house, feeling free.

She went to Juleka and took back Tikki, who cried when she saw Marinette.

She visited everyone else even Chloé, who apologized to her and they became friends.

She stood infront of Adrien's house and took a deep breath, she rang the doorbell and the camera popped out. Marinette smiled and the gates opened.

Marinette got in and Nathalie opened the door for her, letting her in.

"Adrien's upstairs with his father. In fact, they've been hanging out togther a lot ever since you left." Nathalie said Marinette smiled.

She walked up to Adriens room and got in.

"Nathalie didn't I tell you to knock before-" Adrien said and stopped when he turned to the door and saw Marinette, Gabriel smiled when he saw her.

"You're back..." Adrien said and ran up and hugged her tightly.

"I missed you." Adrien muttered and pulled away and Gabriel placed a hand on Adrien's shoulder.

"I told you son, she will be back. You just have to believe in her." Gabriel said then looked at Marinette.

"Ever since you left and Adrien was feeling down, I had to cheer him up everyday and bring him to the hospital." Gabriel said and Marinette smiled.

"I'll leave you two be." Gabriel said and left the room, closing the door behind him.

"I missed you M'lady." Adrien said, hugging Marinette again.

"I missed you too Kitty."
