Flour | Ladynoir
"Look out Chat!" Ladybug yelled to her partner, and thanks to her, Chat Noir swiftly dodged a car that was flying at him.
"Thanks M'Lady!" He shouted in response. "Any idea where the akuma is?"
Ladybug quickly scanned over the newest Akuma victim, who had the power of super strength, explaining the cars they were dodging.
"My guess is the bracelet!" She yelled back after a minute of observation. "I'll distract her, you destroy the bracelet!"
"Okay!" He yelled back.
"Lucky charm!" Ladybug shouted and got a water gun. Ladybug grinned as it was fully loaded. "Hey, hope you like water!" She shouted and started spraying her with the water.
The akuma victim growled, its attention fixed on Ladybug.
Chat Noir quickly yelled for his Cataclysm and managed the rip the bracelet off. He threw it to Ladybug, who crushed it under her foot.
Minutes later, everything was back to normal as Ladybug fixed everything.
"That was quicker than I expected." Ladybug admitted.
"Yeah, I guess we're just that good." Chat Noir winked with his finger guns. However, as he did, he noticed there was something in his partner's dark hair.
It stood out due to its colour. It was white, and powdery. It seemed to dance in her hair whenever she moved her head.
As he stared at it longer, he realized it was flour. Was she baking before coming to the Akuma attack?
Chat was ready to point it out, but before he could, Ladybug took off running, saying something about school, yet again leaving him alone.
Chat sighed, sadly and dashed back to school, being thankful the attack happened at lunch and he wouldn't have to do any homework.
Adrien was a few minutes early to class since he couldn't find Nino anywhere. When he arrived, the only ones in the classroom were Sabrina and Chloe.
They were standing in the corner of the room, farthest from the door, looking at something on their phones.
Adrien was ready to leave the room before they noticed him and go be socially awkward elsewhere, but then he noticed something on the floor near him.
Marinette's bag.
The bag she never left out of her sight.
Adrien picked up her bag, feeling something odd inside, (but he didn't peek) but as the picked up her bag, he saw through Chloe's legs and saw something lying there.
Someone lying there.
He quickly picked up Marinette's bag and stormed over to Chloe.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Adrien called, trying to to explode as he gripping Marinette's bag by the handle.
"Oh. Nothing Adrikins!" Chloe lied as she attempted to block Adrien's view but he easily saw past her.
Lying on the floor, was Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and she was hugging her stomach in pain.
"Chloe, were you seriously kicking Marinette?!" Adrien snapped.
"You mean Mari-trash? Of course I was. Because that's what she is. Trash." Chloe said, snobbishly.
"Well she's better than you Chloe, so you might wanna think about how bad you must be if Marinette is trash." Adrien replied, sassily as he temporarily unleashed his inner Chat Noir.
Adrien helped her up as Chloe huffed off, repeating 'ridiculous!' over and over, and Sabrina followed.
"T-thank you." Marinette stuttered and Adrien thought he noticed Marinette's cheeks go pink as he offered her his hand.
Marinette took his hand and stood. Yep, she was definitely blushing.
Adrien was about to respond, but then he noticed it.
The flour, hiding in Marinette blue hair.
And suddenly it all clicked in Adrien's mind.
How Marinette was always late, her hair and her beautiful blue eyes.
The flour in her hair.
Marinette was Ladybug.
"Adrien? D-did I do something wrong?" Marinette asked, worriedly.
"No! No, no, no, it's fine Marinette," Adrien assured her before smirking. "Or should I say, Ladybug."
Marinette froze for a second before turning at looking around. "W-what? Where?" Her voice became way higher pitched.
"Right in front of me, holding my hand." Adrien smiled at her, ignoring her high-pitched tone, and Marinette just noticed they were still holding hands.
"How'd you figure it out?" Marinette sighed. "I messed up somehow right?" She removed her hand from Adrien's, sadly.
"What? No. I just noticed the flour in your hair." Adrien confessed, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.
"How'd you know it was in Ladybug's hair? She- I didn't let anyone get close during an Akuma." Marinette asked, puzzled.
Adrien pondered his words for a second before deciding.
"I'm observant in that way, My Lady."
Marinette gaped as it all clicked. But-but that meant-
"Oh my gosh. Adrien, y-you're Chat Noir?" Marinette could barley process this information.
"In the flesh, M'lady." Adrien winked and Marinette almost passed out.
"Told you you would pass out if you saw my true face." Adrien teased as he took Marinette's hand again and kissed it, his blond bangs dangling into his face before popping back into their perfect form.
Marinette was beet red, and could barley form a sentence.
She, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, had rejected her crush, not once, but multiple times?!
"Princess? Are you okay?" Adrien asked, concerned that she hadn't said too much. He hoped he hadn't just ruined his relationship with his princess. Had things moved to quickly? He really hoped not.
"I'm fine," Marinette croaked, quietly. "Just surprised."
"Yeah, I get that." Adrien gave a small smile as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck.
"I never would've guessed Chat Noir was a model." Marientte said finally, after another minutes of silence.
Adrien chuckled and his green eyes stared into her blue ones.
"I wouldn't have guessed Ladybug was bullied." Adrien replied, gently.
A sheepishly fake grin stretched onto Marinette's face. "Yeah...."
"Do you want me to help you with it?" Adrien offered.
"That's sweet Adrien, but I can handle myself," Marinette refused, kindly, "I am Ladybug after all."
"Yeah," Adrien stared at her, love dancing in his eyes, "You are."
Marinette started blushing. Adrien smirked. "So, now what?" Marinette cleared her throat, desperate to change the topic.
"I love you Marinette Dupain-Cheng." Adrien said, suddenly. Marinette froze on the spot and forgot how to breath.
"Oh god. I just said that out loud didn't I?" Adrien stuttered, embarrassed. "I'm sorry My Lady, you must be so uncomfo-"
"I love you too Adrien Agreste." The words barley made it out of her throat because she was still in shock.
Adrien froze and a dreamy grin grew on his face. "Y-you do?"
Her face was now tomato red. "Y-yes!" She squeaked.
Adrien grinned widely. Marinette had never seen him so happy.
"Nice to know my Purr-incess likes her Purr-ince." He teased as he placed his right hand on her cheek.
Marinette was desperately trying to recall what it was like to talk to Chat Noir and how easy the words came.
"Very funny Chaton." She managed with a smirk painted on her lips.
Adrien gave his own smirk before closing the gap between them, and he locked lips with Marinette.
Marinette was shocked at first, but quickly returned the kiss.
The two lovebirds were so distracted by each other, they hadn't heard the bell ring.
The door opened and their loud, chattering classmates came in, freezing when they saw the couple in the corner.
Adrien and Marinette still didn't notice. It wasn't until Rose let out a high-pitch squeal that Marinette and Adrien snapped back to reality.
"Oh," Adrien blushed, sheepishly, "hey guys."
Marinette blushed silently, acting like she didn't see the death glares Chloe was sending her.
"Is there something you'd like to say?" Alya grinned, forcing her way to the front of the group.
"What? No." Marinette lied, flimsily. Alya sighed in an amused way.
"Yeah Adrien! You finally got the girl!" Nino yelled from the back and the class broke into laughter with Adrien just standing still like a statue.
A really red, embarrassed, statue.
"Your turn now Nino. When are you gonna ask out Alya?" Adrien fired back, unleashing his inner Chat Noir for the second time that day.
The class laughed harder and now Nino was the embarrassed one.
Alya hugged Marinette. "It's about dang time." She mused, her hand on Marinette's shoulder.
"It's true love!" Rose squealed happily to Juleka. Juleka smiled at her friend's antics.
Kim was handing Max and Alyx ten dollar bills (they'd made a bet), Sabrina was comforting Chloe, Nathaniel had already processed the info and was sketching something, and Ivan was talking to Mylene with a smile on his face.
Needless to say, Marinette and Adrien sat next to each other that day.
"I love you Mari." Adrien whispered in her ear as their teacher wrote something in the board.
"And I love you Adrien." Marinette responded happily.
This was the best day of their lives.
And they owed it all to the white, powdery flour hiding in Marinette's hair.
So I normally don't leave A/N's at the end of one-shots but I wanted to establish some things about this book.
MOST IMPORTANT! If a reveal happens in chapter, IT WILL CLASSIFY AS LADYNOIR EVEN IF ITS DISCUSSED LATER AS ADRIEN AND MARINETTE BECAUSE I DONT WANNA WRITE LADYNOIR/ADRIENETTE ON MOST OF THEM
Plus the fact that it's STILL ABOUT Ladybug and Chat Noir
If the title of the one shot doesn't have a ship next to it, it's just an idea I had that doesn't involve a specific ship.
If you want a part two to a one-shot, ASK AND I WILL WRITE IT.
