CHAT POV

    I hopped over to ladybug and my usual spot. When I got there, she wasn't there yet so I sat and waited for her. I watched the stars until I felt hands over my eyes. "Guess who?" Ladybug said. "Hm, I WONDER who? Is it Mr. Pigeon? We have defeated you one too many times. Pick a different animal!" I said and heard Ladybug laugh. "Hi Chat, How are you?" She came and sat by me. "Well, today was busy. As usual. But at least I got to eat dinner with father." I said and looked down. I looked at her and she frowned. "Hey, why don't we do something." She said thinking. "Like what?" I asked and looked at her. She looked at me with a smile. "TAG!" She tagged my shoulder and swung her yo-yo and she was off. It took me a second to realize what had happened, but as soon as I did I was off and chasing her. I could hear her laughs in the distance.

    I saw her go behind a building, so I followed her. When I turned the corner she was gone. "M'Lady?" I said confused. I felt a rope wrap around me and pull me up. Before I could react I collapsed on someone and I just heard laughing. I look up and see Ladybug with her hair down and laughing at me. "Wow, it's the first time I've seen you with your hair down." She kept laughing and my eyes widened. Why does this feel so familiar?... "What?" She giggled. "Nothing- just Dejavu I guess?" I questioned and she giggled. "Oh- tag," I said and booped her nose. She smiled at me and we talked for a while.

    "I think it's about time you and I head home. It's getting late." Ladybug turned to me. "Awe, so soon?" I smiled. "Alright, goodnight M'Lady. Have a nice day tomorrow." I laughed and she swung off saying her goodbyes. I started to head home, and as I was going I kept thinking about her hair being down. That seemed way too familiar, not exactly Deja Vu because it wasn't exact. I got home and got ready for bed. I hopped in bed and went on my phone. I saw a picture of Marinette, Nino, Alya, and I. "MARINETTE." I yelled. "Kid, what?" Plagg flew over to me. "Earlier when Ladybug and I were hanging out, her hair was down and it reminded me of the time Marinette's hair was down. They look a lot alike." I said and Plagg just sat on my pillow. "What's your point?" Plagg said munching on his cheese. "I... I don't know. She just reminded me of Marinette so much... they also sound a lot alike, same hair color, same eyes..." My eyes were as wide as saucers. "You think Marinette is ladybug?..." Plagg asked. "I... It's a theory? I guess I will have to look more into it." I said and rolled on my back. "Adrien, you know you aren't supposed to know who it is" He said. "I know but I have to know! That one thing has been bothering me till now. Imagine how much it would bother me if I don't look into it!" I said defending myself. "Kid, you know Ladybug won't like this." He said, looking at me and raising his eyebrow. "I know, I know. I just have to find out..." I said looking down. "Adrien, It's late and we both need to sleep. Ladybug and I have told you you aren't supposed to know, just try not to think about it. night kid." He said and curled up by my head. "Yeah, alright, i'll sleep in a little bit. Night Plagg." "Night Adrien." He responded. I look at my photo album and see pictures of ladybug and Marinette. "They really do look a lot alike..." I said to myself. I put down my phone and then drifted off to sleep.

    I woke up and went to school as usual. It was normal until lunch. I asked Marinette and Alya if they wanted to sit with us and they gratefully excepted. We decided to eat at Marinette's bakery and I sat next to Marinette, Alya sat next to Nino. "H-hey Adrien! Thank you for lunching me to invite!" She smiled and I raised an eyebrow. "I- I MEAN THANK YOU FOR INVITING ME TO LUNCH!" She smiled and put her hands on her face. She immediately looked away and I laughed. 'Your welcome!" I smiled. " So what did you do last night?" I asked. "U-um well, I... Studied for a test!" She said. "We don't have a test?" I asked. "Oh- um... Well, it's always good to be prepared?" She said, which sounded more like a question. Before I could question her again, she asked me "What did you do?" "Oh, I just was hanging out with a friend!" I said and smiled. It seemed like she was about to say something else, but she was interrupted by a crash outside. I fake looking at my phone, "My dad wants me home, apparently a photoshoot? See you guys!" I said. "I- have to go to the bathroom!" Marinette stood up and ran off. I ran outside and found a good place to transform. "Plagg, She even left at the same time as me! Now that I think about it... She always does." I say as Plagg flies out of my jacket. "Well didn't you see Marinette as multi mouse and ladybug was there?" Plagg said. "Yeah, but the fox miraculous is there as well... She could have used that? I don't know Plagg!" I grabbed my head. "Well, I know. We need to go help Ladybug with that Akuma." Plagg said. "Your right. Plagg, Claws Out!" I yelled and transformed.

*Timeskip because I suck at fight scenes*

    "Pound it!" Ladybug said. "Hey- Chat? You never miss out on a fist bump?" She said and looked confused. "Sorry, I just need to go look for a friend, make sure she is okay," I said. "Who?" She said before I left. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the one who helped us defeat Evillustrator," I said and she looked confused. But before she could say anything else, I was off and headed towards Marinette's bakery. When I got there I knocked on Marinette's trap door on her balcony. I heard a crash and struggling upstairs and she was there. She looked very out of breath. "Chat Noir, what brings you here?" She said catching her breath. She came up on the balcony. "I was just checking if you were okay? The Akuma was pretty close to your house." I said and she smiled. "Awe, Chat that's sweet." She said. "So- why are you sweaty and out of breath?" I asked with my eyebrow raised. She froze for a second. "I was... dancing! I have gotten really into dancing!" She said doing a spin and jazz hands. I had an amused look on my face and wished her luck with her dancing. I took off and went towards my house. I lied and told Nathalie that school ended early because of the Akuma.

    I landed on my bed and sighed. Plagg flew out and I said, "She was lying." "How are you so sure kid?" Plagg asked. "She said she was going to the bathroom and she said that she was dancing Nino and Alya are downstairs," I said and Plagg didn't respond. "I need to be sure that she is Ladybug. I'm not sure how I can do that though..." I said to myself. I walked to my computer and looked up "Ladybug real identity" to see what I could find. I spent a while on that until I realized it was 6 pm. "I think I may pay a visit towards my Princess. Plagg, Claws Out!" I transformed and leaped to the Dupain-Cheng Bakery.

I knocked on Marinette's trapdoor and she came up and walked out to me. "Back for more?" She giggled. "I was just wondering what my Princess was up to." I smiled and leaned onto my baton. "Well, nothing really. I finished all of my homework at school so no work for me!" She put her hands in the air. I laughed. "What were you doing before I showed up?" I asked. "Well, I was working on a new dress design! But I think I got it." "Can I see?" I asked curiously. I felt the rain start to come down as she was about to speak. I scrunched up my nose in disgust while Mari just sat there with an amused face. "Come on kitty, I guess what they say about cats hating water is true for ALL cats!" She laughed and I rolled my eyes. I followed her down the later into her room. She went to her desk and grabbed her sketchbook. She showed me the design. "Marinette this is amazing!" I said amazed. It was an elegant blue dress that went down to the ankle and had a slit up to the top of the thigh. The top of the dress was a one-strap dress with a peacock feather along the neck and onto the strap. "Thank you! I was inspired by this figure my mom always keeps in the living room!" She laughed and I smiled. "Well, what do you want to do?" She asked me and I looked around the room. My eyes landed on her makeup box. "What if I try and do your makeup?" I ask. "Sure! Have you done makeup before?" She smiles and gets her box. "Um. no? But It can't be that hard! Right?" She just laughs at me.

    Once she opens the makeup kit, I grab the eyeliner. I put a wing on her eyes, a black triangle on her nose, and whiskers on her cheeks. I hand her a mirror. "Done," I say smirking. "Chat!" She giggled. "You look so much better," I smirk and she rolls her eyes. I start to stare at her. "What's wrong?" She asks me. "Can I try another look?" I ask her and she agrees. I finish and my eyes widen and I back up. "Chat?" She questions and grabs a mirror and gasped. "M'Lady...?" I say. "CHAT WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!" She screams at me. "I- I'm the boy you like. You love me!" I say to myself. "W-what?" Marinette asks. "Marinette. I'm Adrien." I say and I see her eyes go wide. "You? Y-your Adrien??" She asks and I see her eyes swell up with tears. "M-Mari? Why are you crying? I love you and you love me! Right..?" I ask and she grabs onto my chest and cries. "Y-yes. But I continuously rejected you as Ladybug! I broke your heart so many times! How are you not mad at me?" She cried out and I pulled her into a hug. "Mari, you couldn't have known it was me. I don't hold you against what you didn't know. I love you. And what is done is done. What matters is the present." I say. "Plagg, Claws In!" I detransform and pull away from Marinette. She looks at me and I wipe her tears. "No need to cry Princess, I'm here and I'm not leaving." I smiled at her and we stared into each other's eyes, ocean eyes locked with electric green. Marinette closed her eyes and leaned in, I followed and we shared a short simple kiss. Mari was the first to pull away, "I have been wanting to do that for years." She laughed. "I have too, I love you Marinette." I smiled. She blushed and replied, "I love you too, silly kitty." She booped my nose.

The main part of this story (when chat puts on the makeup) is an idea from minibuggirl on TikTok. I got her permission to use it for a story! The rest was my idea :) I hope you enjoyed this!!
P.S. This also takes place before Chat Blanc, so I don't want to hear anything about it XD
