Adrain POV
I arrived at school, expecting to see Nino waiting for me. Nope. He was talking to Alya, marenette was nowhere in sight. She's probably late. I thought to myself.
"Hey Nino, hey Alya."
"Hey Adrain."
"Sup dude?"
"Not much."
"Come on, let's get to class before we're late. " Alya said.
"What about Mari?" I asked.
"She's not feeling well." Alya answered with a frown.
"Oh."
~magical time skip to lunch~
Alya Nino and I walked out of class together. As soon as we had walked 7 steps, Alya got a text. "Oh." She said.
"Adrien? Would you mind bringing this to Mari?" Alya gestured to the stack of homework she had been given.
"Um, why?"
"My mom asked me if i could get her some more flour. Apparently the hotel is out." Alya sighed.
"Ok."
I made my way to the Dupain Chang bakery. I walked in to see ms Chang talking to someone. She saw me.
"Hello dear. Is that Marinettes homework?" She asked me.
"Yes." I nodded. "Would you like me to bring it up to her?"
"That would be wonderful dear." Ms Chang nodded.
I made my way to the back and was greeted by Maris dad. "Hello son."
"Hey, I'm going to bring mari her homework. " I said.
"Can you check on her for me? She was bearly able to make it out of bed this morning."
I nodded hoping mari was feeling better. I walked up the stairs to the home above the bakery. To my right was another set of stairs. Up those to. I knocked lightly on the trapdoor. No answer. I slowly opened it and looked around. Mari was sitting with her back towards me.
"Hey Mari." I said.
"Hi mama." She answered in a dreary voice, turning around.
I had to bit my lip to stop myself from laughing. Until i saw her face. Her eyes had lost there sparkle, she was paler than normal. Dark circles under her eyes told me that she had not slept very well that nigh. Mari lazily raised one hand and rubbed her eye. She looked at me. "You're not mama."
"No, I'm not." I answered.
"Adrien? What are you doing here?"
"I..." i saw her flinch. She was in pain. Mari scrambled off the bed and ran her washroom. I knew what was coming next. The faint sounds of regurgitation were heard. I followed the sound the her and found her puking in the toilet. I squatted down next to her. I placed my hand on her back to help support her. She looked at me. After a couple minutes she was finished and weak. She leaned into me, and I let her. Moments later Maris breathing had become steady and deep. I picked up the sleeping girl and walked back to her bed. Gently laying her down i placed my hand on her forehead. Pulling it off quickly i went back into the bathroom and looked for a thermometer. I went back to Maris side and took her temperature. 102°. i looked at the time i still had 20 minutes to kill. I went down to talk to Maris parents.
"How's my little girl doing?" Her father asked.
"Not to well, I'm afraid." I answered. "She threw up and has a temperature of 102 degrees."
"I would go see her but i can't leave Sabine to tend to the customers on her own." Maris father sighed.
"I can stay till the end of lunch, if you would like." I said.
"Would you do that?" Maris father asked.
I nodded, not entirely sure why I had offered.
Back up the stairs I went, into Maris room.
Mari's bed was empty and I panicked. Where is she?! I heard a sound from the bathroom, and a moment later the bluenette stumbled out. I rushed to her side to help her out. We made it to the bedside, and an odd high pitch giggle was heard. I looked at Mari and saw how unfocused her eyes were. I pushed her back onto the bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she was out like a light.
I knew that she couldn't be left alone, if she was, let's not think about that right now.

I have no clue how long I sat there watching her, but Mari look so peaceful while she slept.  Wow, I sound like a stalker.
