Sitting in her bedroom, Marinette hummed to herself softly. She happily ran her fingers over the newly stitched line that was key to her new design.
The weather outside was nice and cool therefore Marinette had left her window open.
Probably not a good idea.
Inserting the fabric back into her machine, she continued to work tirelessly on the light green fabric.
Suddenly she glanced around, the feeling that someone was whatching her was prickling in the back of her neck.
Her eyes landed on the window and she could have sworn she'd seen two green eyes.
But she couldn't see them anymore. Shrugging she turned back to her letting her fingers guid the fabric so effortlessly over the sewing machine.
Hearing a rustle marinette turned again before deciding it was just the wind and returning to her work.
She could have sworn she heard it again but she shook it off.
Mari stretched her arms up into the air, in an attempt at releasing the tired  muscles in her neck. Yeah that didn't work.
Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder and immediately her ladybug instincts kicked in.
Taking the hand she spun around getting up off her chair, definitely pulling a muscle while doing so, and pinning the intruder to the ground. His arms were pinned between him and her knee, just as she had wanted.
"You know, m'lady, your strength is not really one of the factor i include when trying to surprise you." The all to familiar voice of her partner chimed.
A fury boiled deep down, making her want to hug him and yet punch him at the same time.
Slowly Mari got off of chats back her anger still boiling. Once chat was on his feet, Mari release her anger.
"Chat Noir, do you realize how stupid that was? Do you realize i could have done much worse damage?"
"I...uh...I know but like..."Chat stuttered.
Mari raised her fist at first before lowering it in pain. She attempted to mask it but chat seemed to know.
"Purrincess is everything alright?" He reached for her.
"Yes everything is fine." Mari stated hastily.
"Oh bugaboo." Mari was suddenly wrapped in chats arms and found herself burying her face into his chest.
"Plagg, claws in." She heard her chat say and the light leather and spandex suit that had fitted him like a glove was replaced by a looser long sleeve black tee and somewhat baggy sweatpants.
Slowly she felt a finger slide under her chin, it forced her to look up at the faces of her boyfriend, Adrien.
"Now, Princess." He spoke softly, "is everything alright?"
"Yeah I'm just tired." Her voice was slightly muffled as she dropped her head into his chest once again.
"Is everything ok for you?" Maris voice was barely audible.
"Now they are." Adrien lifted her off the ground and stepped over to her bed, "and as much as I'd love to chat you need to go to bed."
Mari nodded before whispering softly. "Will you stay till i fall asleep?"
"Of course, baby bug."
And that he did.
