Happy mother's day!(I know I'm a little late)

"Thank you come again" Sabine told the customer before they left with their order. That was the last customer and the bakery was about to close. Sabine let out a tired sigh as she went to put the close sign. It was a long day, especially because it was mother's day. Speaking of mother's day...

"Hi mom" Sabine smiled, happy to hear her daughter's voice as she turned around and saw Marinette coming downstairs with something behind her back. She smiled at her mom as her mom looked at her curiously.

"Happy mother's day mom" she said as she revealed a pink box and Sabine gasped surprised but excited. "Oh Marinette thank you" Sabine told her grateful as she opened the box and she gasped.

Inside was a beautiful purple Chinese dress with gold flower designs and a matching purple flower to wear with it. "Oh Marinette! Did you make this? It's absolutely beautiful!" Sabine asked as she set the box down and held out the dress and flower. She ran her hand on the smooth, silky fabric.

Marinette smiled at her mom, glad she loved it. "When I was with uncle Wang in Shanghai, I got some special fabric there to make the dress for you" she explained to her mom as Sabine set the dressing flower back in the box and hugged her.

"Oh thank you Marinette. I love it" Sabine said grateful to have a wonderful and caring daughter that put alot of effort in the gift.

"Well mom. Why don't you go try it on and see how it looks. I'll go get dad so he can see" Marinette explained as she went to find her dad. Sabine took the box and went upstairs to her room to try it on. But what she didn't see was her daughtet took a quick look smiling before she left because that dress was not the only surprise.

Sabine put on the dress and flower and she looked at herself in the mirror. Sabine loved how beautiful it looked, how the gold designs shimmer, how soft and comfortable it was. She spun around, loving it.

Sabine opened the door and went downstairs to show Tom and Marinette the new dress but down below she got surprised to see Tom and Marinette dressed so nicely. Tom had on a blue button shirt with a red tie, brown pants and shoes. Marinette wore a short sleeve pink dress with her hair in a bun and a pink flower plus pink flats.

"Wow Sabine. You look amazing. I can see Marinette did a great job on it" Tom said happy as he smiled at her while his wife stared at them puzzled.

"What's all this?" She asked confused as she got all the way downstairs. Tom and Marinette looked at eachother smiling before turning back to her.

"We're all going going out to dinner tonight at a nice fancy restaurant with you for mother's day Sabine" Tom explained "It wasn't easy but we managed to book a restaurant in time" Marinette added as Sabine smiled at them warmly, deeply touched that her family went far and beyond to prepare this for her for mother's day.

"Aww you two" Sabine said as she walked up to them and hugged her daughter and husband, one big family group hug. Sabine felt so grateful to have an amazing husband and daughter that loved her so much.

"Thank you too. What did I do to deserve you two?" Sabine asked thoughtfully, her hands on her heart. "Being an amazing and wonderful mom of course. You deserve this" Marinette told her mom happy.

"Alright my loves. Let's go and eat!" Tom said excited as he placed his hands on their shoulders and the Dupain-Cheng family left the bakery and headed to eat out for mother's day with the best mom ever, Sabine.
