Marichat Imagine
Chat Noir grunted as he landed on the balcony of Marinette's house. It was midnight and the moon was shining bright. He had been out patrolling and wanted to check on her. He slinked over to her window and peeked in. Marinette was sleeping peacefully in her bed. He lifted up the window to get a better look.
He stared at her for a while, smiling. He hadn't noticed how beautiful Marinette really was. Then, her eyes shot open and she sat up. Chat was startled and immediately hit the ground.
"Who's there?" Marinette asked, her tone full of authority.
Chat stood back up and plastered a grin on his face. He waved nonchalantly to Marinette. "Hey."
"Chat Noir? Why are you outside of my window?" Marinette asked, her eyes wide with surprise.
"Just checking up on you, that's all," Chat shrugged, then sat on her window sill. He leaned his back against the frame.
Marinette huffed and walked over to Chat. She put her hands on her hips. "What made you think I was in danger?"
"Instinct," Chat Noir replied, now grabbing for straws. He hoped she'd get off the topic.
"Well you might want to check yourself, because I'm not in danger," Marinette laughed and sat down in her desk chair. After the two stared at each other for a few minutes, Marinette raised an eyebrow.
"Aren't you going to go now?" she asked.
"Yep," Chat replied, jumping out of the window. He smirked. "Sleep tight, Princess."
Then he ran off, leaving a confused Marinette behind.
