Adrien's Twin AU - Part 1

Adrien never knew he had a twin brother. Not until a seemingly normal Tuesday morning when a knock was heard on the door to Ms. Bustier's classroom.

Mr. Damocles peeked his head in and called for Adrien. The blonde boy curiously left his seat and followed the principal out into the hallway.

Outside, a tall, thin boy with blonde hair similarly styled like Adrien's was now standing before him. He was wearing a fancy looking vest with a black tie and black pants. His chilling eyes shot darts into Adrien.

"Uh," Adrien mumbled, turning to Mr. Damocles. "Who is this?"

"The young man says he is your brother," Mr. Damocles replied.

Adrien widened his eyes in disbelief. "No. You've got it all wrong. I don't have a brother."

Mr. Damocles looked between the two boys and shrugged. "You two look like brothers to me. And his last name is Agreste."

Adrien pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance. "I'm telling you, I don't have a brother! Don't you think my father would tell me something like this?"

Mr. Damocles cleared his throat before stepping away. "I'll give you two time to talk."

Adrien watched in awe As Mr. Damocles walked away. A hand then waved furiously in front of his face.

"Hello? Earth to Adrien?" the boy asked annoyingly.

"Who are you," Adrien questioned coldly. "And how do you know my name?"

"What? Speak up, I can't understand you when you're mumbling."

"Who. Are. You?" Adrien hissed louder, grabbing the boy by his vest collar.

"Woah, calm down there," the boy replied nonchalantly. "Now let go before you wrinkle my vest, you pansy."

Adrien sighed and let go. He rubbed his temples in frustration.

"I'm Felix," the blonde haired boy said simply. He dusted off himself. "And I'm your older brother."

"I don't believe you," Adrien mumbled, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Believe it," Felix replied. He snickered to himself. "I can't believe that after all these years this is the greeting my little brother gives me."

"You're funny if you think I'd ever call you my brother," Adrien mumbled annoyingly.

"Believe me, I'm just as surprised as you are."

Adrien glanced up at Felix. Now he was beginning to see the chilling resemblance. The only thing that really differed between the two were their hair styles and the glint in their eyes.

"Why did you decide to show up after all these years, then?" Adrien asked, narrowing his eyes. He wasn't going to trust Felix this easily. He could be some guy that works for Hawkmoth that coincidentally looks like him and wants to extract his brain for information...

Yeah, no... Even I'm finding that hard to believe, Adrien thought.

"Because, Adrien. I'm here to help you. I know you're Chat Noir," Felix said firmly.

Adrien laughed nervously. "What? ME, Chat Noir?? As if!"

"Drop the act, squirt," Felix mumbled annoyingly. "We've just met and I can already tell when you're lying."

"Fine," Adrien groaned. "But you can't-"

"I know," Felix said, swatting at the air with his hand. "I can't tell anyone. I know."

"So how do you know? Do you just have some weird physic abilities or something?" Adrien asked.

"Well, for one, I'm not an idiot. I can recognize my brother, even the one I haven't seen in almost 15 years, from anywhere. And two, I witnessed your transformation. Here's a tip; find a better place to transform."

Adrien scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. "Right. So how can you 'help' me?"

Felix smirked. "I was waiting for you to say that."

Adrien raised his eyebrow just as the bell rang throughout the school. The door to the classroom opened and students filed out, chattering about.

Felix groaned angrily as people stopped and stared at the two brothers, yelling and pointing at them.

"Woah! I didn't know Adrien had a twin!"

"They look so alike!"

"Hey, Adrien's brother looks hot! But in a creepier way!"

Adrien dropped his head in embarrassment while Felix sighed in annoyance.

"Okay, thanks for the commentary kiddos! SCRAM!" Felix yelled, shooing the students off.

Adrien then felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and Nino was standing there curiously. Behind him, Marinette was hiding nervously with Alya at her side. Nino pointed at Felix in awe.

"Dude," he breathed in shock. A smile slowly formed on his face. "You have a BROTHER?! Sick!"

Nino rushed up to Felix and inspected the boy. He poked his clothes while Felix shifted uncomfortably. He glared at Adrien.

"Adrien, get your annoying friend off of me," Felix said calmly, although he looked like he was about to snap any second.

"Nino," Adrien said. "You might wanna stop before Felix does anything... bad."

Nino blinked a few times and then looked between the two. He held up a hand to Felix for a high five. "Sup, dude! I'm Nino!" he smiled.

Felix glared at Nino's hand in disgust. "Get that grimy hand away from my face," he breathed.

Nino pulled back his hand and frowned in hurt. "Geez, Adrien. Sucks that you have a brother that's as cold as your Pops," he said, turning to Alya and Marinette who were quietly spectating. "Come on guys."

Marinette hesitated before walking away with Alya and Nino. Adrien sighed.

"Hm," Felix said, rubbing his chin. "Your friends are quite the characters. May I suggest some new ones?"

"You may not," Adrien replied. "So what are you gonna help me with? I want an explanation before I have to leave for a photoshoot."

Felix rolled his eyes. "Oh, geez. So that's what father forced you to do with your potential. I bet it's relieving to escape your boring life."

"It is..." Adrien mumbled. "But I only model because it makes him happy." He then raised an eyebrow. "How do you know so much about me, anyways?"

"I read a lot," Felix answered simply with a curt nod.

"Can you just tell me the reason you're here? I know you're here to 'help' but you haven't really touched that much on the topic," Adrien said.

Felix sighed and stood up. "Fine. Adrien, I know how you can harness your powers to do so much more."

Adrien stood up quickly. He eyed Felix carefully. "What? How-"

Felix waved his hand in the air annoyingly before Adrien could finish. "I told you I read a lot."

Adrien backed away suspiciously and narrowed his eyes at his long lost brother. "Yeah, but I doubt that information was found in a textbook."

Felix gulped, his eyes scanning Adrien nervously. He was hiding something, and Adrien intended to find out what it was.

"You're not my brother, are you?" Adrien asked slowly.

Felix ignored the question.

"Who are you. Really?" Adrien pushed.

Felix glanced around frantically before turning around and sprinting away. Adrien widened his eyes and chased after him, shouting at the boy crazily.

"Stop!" Adrien barked, running after Felix.

Felix dodged students left and right, racing straight towards the school exit. Adrien was right on his tail. He picked up the speed and went into Chat Noir mode. He furrowed his eyebrows and worked his legs to their limit.

He reached out a hand, grabbed Felix by the vest, and yanked him down to the ground. The two boys fell to the ground, Adrien having the upper hand. He breathed in and out heavily.

"Who are you!" he barked.

Felix raised his foot and smacked Adrien sideways across the head. Adrien fell to the ground, his head spinning and watched as Felix fled the school. Marinette came to Adrien's aid, protectively placing a hand on his shoulder.

Felix was almost to the exit when Ivan blocked his way defensively. The boy growled.

"You're not going anywhere, dude," Ivan hissed threateningly.

Felix laughed crazily. "Like an uneducated barbarian like you can stop me!" He then started to unsuccessfully push his way past Ivan.

"Move, you stupid-!"

SMACK!

The loud clang resonated throughout the school. Felix groaned in pain and fell to the ground, unconscious. Behind him, Mylene smiled as she held a shovel in her hand.

"No one messes with my boy," she proclaimed.

Everyone cheered and high-fived Mylene while Adrien got to his feet. He slowly approached the unconscious Felix and knelt down besides him. Marinette joined Adrien and inspected the scene.

"So I'm guessing he wasn't really your brother," Marinette guessed.

"Right," Adrien nodded, scratching his chin. "But he's here for something. And we need to find out what-- I mean, Ladybug and Chat Noir need to find out what he's doing here."

Marinette smiled sheepishly. "Right. I'll, uh, go let them know," she nodded, scurrying away.

"Me too!" Adrien called after her. He nudged Nino.

"Make sure if Felix wakes up while I'm gone that he doesn't leave," Adrien whispered. "I have to... go to my photoshoot. See ya!"

Nino nodded. "I gotcha dude!"

Adrien ran off and hid in the boys bathroom. He let Plagg out of his shirt pocket. "This Felix dude is for something, and my guess is that it's for evil."

"Or maybe he likes cheese too!" Plagg suggested enthusiastically.

"I doubt that," Adrien replied. "Plagg, claws out!"
