Yes, one of her quirks happens to be a bit clumsy, but even if you do include that piece of information in your fan-fiction, she can still turn out to be a Mary-Sue.

The reason that I am so fond of Marinette is because she is incredibly relatable. She gets nervous, jealous, disgusted, just like most of us. Don't take that away from us!

But also, don't overuse these traits. Marinette is "just a normal girl with a normal life" (excluding the whole superhero-stuff), she isn't some jerk who will beat someone up just because they ask Adrien for a pencil.

She isn't a "la la, everything is totally awesome all the time!" person, but she isn't a Yandere, either. Find a happy medium!
