You know when you read an amazing-superific-totally-awesome story only to be left on a crappy and unintentional cliffhanger, and see the author hasn't updated in months.

This isn't just a MLB cliche, it's in every genre. When the author just vanishes with no reason or warning, it can be pretty annoying. So, a huge thank you to those who put "*HIATUS*" next to their title!

Also for writers who just abandon their story, this can be helpful as well. In this way, your audience will know you're eventually coming back, it'll just be a while.

Like for instance, I'm literally moving tomorrow and I won't have WiFi for a long time, I will let you all know by putting "*HIATUS*" next to the title of this book!
