Marinette's parents are still away on a business trip. She is in charge while they are gone. She is glad she has a bit of free time though.  It is the day before Halloween now.  

       She works hard on it for him. Once she finishes she smiles as she puts it inside the oven to bake. Now, she just has to wait for it to be done and give it to him.

        "Something smells good!" Tikki says.

     "Oh, it is just something special I am baking," Marinette tells her.

       "I think I know who it is for Marinette!" Tikki says. She hides when she hears Alya enter the place.

    "Hey, girl!" Alya says.

"Hey, Alya!"  Marinette replies.

"Let me guess, you are working on something for Luka,"  Alya remarks.

"Do not be silly, we are just friends," Marinette says.

"Hey, Girls!" Adrien says as he enters the shop next.

"Hi, A-Adrien!"  Marinette says.

"Marinette you have a certain sparkle in your eyes,"  Adrien says,

"I have somewhere I need to be, see you later," Alya says.

"Alya, how could you leave me here with him?"  Marinette asks.

"Look, you  are one special girl, Marinette!"  Adrien tells her.

"Th-Thank you, A-Adrien!"  Marinette says.

   "Dudette, what smells so funny?" Nino asks.

"Oh, no, the oven!"  Marinette says. She runs to the back area. 

   "She is funny, but cute!" Adrien remarks after she walks away.

"Dude, you like her!" Nino remarks.

"Yes, but I will deny it if you say anything,"  Adrien says.
