Ladybug starts to wiggle, but it is no use. She can not break out of the rope.

     Chat attempts to loosen the rope.   He finds the thing to be way tighter than he thought.

        "Cataclysm!"  He mutters under his breath.  Although, as an animal, it sounds more like Cat-a-cly-ism.

        He feels the item loosen from his paws.  He smiles when he sees it is off his lady as well.

          "Wow, Chaton, you got us out."

       "Sure did, Bugaboo. No need to make a big deal out of it."

           Neither of them has any idea how to get out of the attic. Perhaps, this time they will never get out since the window is stuck shut.  How will they exit it otherwise?  There is no way out the door since it is locked from the outside.

        "Well, since we are stuck together, we should make the most of it."

        "I suppose."

        Ladybug does her lucky charm, but instead of getting a hammer or some other useful tool she gets a package of gum. She rolls her eyes in annoyance. What can she use this for?

         Chat sees the gum. He can tell she is unsure of herself as usual.

         "Do not worry, I am sure you will think of something."

    ....

     Nino and Alya look at the time and sigh.   It dawns on them it is day 6, which is almost a week since Marinette and Adrien along with Ladybug and Chat went missing.  Strange.

        "Is it coincidence that the heroes and our friends  have been missing for the same amount of time?"

         "Hmm, Alya, I suppose it is peculiar.  Who knows ,maybe the heroes went to look for our friends and got lost."

          "Goodness, that sounds awful."

        "Sorry, I did not mean to make you worry more about them."

           "I know, Nino."

        Nino hugs Alya to reassure her, he is there for her.

         Alya appreciates the kind gesture. 

    ...

     Back with our heroes who are stuck as animals for who knows how long.  The two feel themselves shrink again as the food they ate a few days ago wears off.  This time when their stomachs growl their is nothing to eat.

      The girl and boy do take turns sipping water or what is left of it from the small canteen the cat has with him.

          LB places the gum on Chat's paw.

         Chat walks over to the window and puts the gum on the nail.  To his surprise the nail comes loose.  He manages to open it just a small amount.

          Ladybug smiles. She thinks I can easily through through it. Then, she frowns when she remembers even if she gets out she will have to leave Chat behind.  

          How could she?  She worries what will become of him.

        "Do not worry about me. Just go find help!"

      "Nah, we are stuck in this together, as you once told me."

         He licks her nose.  She giggles.

         She lands on his nose and licks his face.

           He laughs.
