"Marinette! Wake up!" Marinette's eyes shot open.

"I'm going to be late!" Marinette ran off the bed, and down the ladder. On the last step, she tripped and landed on the Manaqin with her clothes. When she stood up, and her clothes were on her.

"That works too!" Marinette and Tikki said at the same time. Marinette grabbed and put on her shoes. She grabbed her purse, and Tikki flew into it. She closed her trapdoor, and ran downstairs, grabbing a apple, and her lunch from her dad.

"Bye Mom! Bye dad!" She gave them kisses on the cheek, and pushed open the door. Nino was out there, waiting for her.

"Oh Nino! What are you doing here?" Nino looked at her like she just told him an impossible riddle.

"I came here so we can walk to school together." Just then Wayzz poke his head through his pocket. So did Tikki in Mari's purse.

"And we have A LOT to catch up on!" Wayzz flew into Marinette's purse, which was where Tikki was in. Marinette and Nino laughed as they walked to school. When they got their, Alya and Adrien where already there, in their seats.

"C'mon Nino, let's sit in the back." Marinette whispered into his ear. Nino nodded, walking past a guilty Alya. Marinette walked behind him. Glaring angrily at a scared and guilty Adrien. When they took their seats, the teacher walked in.

"Bonjour students! We are going to have a report based on American history, since I got word that my cousin in America has her students doing a report on France. I thought it would be cool for us to report about them, and they report about us!" Everyone groaned. Their teacher ignored them. She walked around giving every student a rubric of what thing's to put in the report. 

"The report is due in 2 weeks! You all have partners. Only TWO people can be partners." Everyone lit up, and starting looking for their partners. Adrien snook a glance at Marinette, but she rolled her eyes, and started talking to Nino. Alya also snook a glance, but Nino grimaced, and starting talking to Mari. The teacher held up her hand, and everyone shut up.

"I have assigned partners." Everyone groaned again.

"Alix and Kim, Juleka and Rose, Max and Sabrina, Mylene and Ivan, Nathaniel and Chloe, Nino and Marinette, and Adrien and Alya. Ok, get into your groups." Chloe looked over at Nathaniel, who was drawing as usual. Chloe, over the years, had therapy and had learned something. The only reason she was mean was because her mother left her when she was really young.

"You see, if an important person inside someone's life leaves them, like how your mom did to you, the recipient feels unloved, like it was their fault and acts up'. Usually they bully to get attention from others like you Chloe." Her therapist said to her yesterday, the day she bullied and helped akumatize Amanda. That day, Chloe finally changed. She was nice, didnt harm anyone, or anything. In fact, she even stopped chasing after Adrien. But something about Nath, the way he smiled when he finished his masterpiece and throwed his hair back made Chloe's heart skip a beat. She hesitantly stood up, and walked over, biting next to Nath. She tapped his shoulder. He jumped.

"C-chloe! What are you doing over here?" Chloe smiled at him.

"We have an project to do on America, since they are doing us." Nath stood up.

"Omg, like, Snapchat, and emoji's all day! Let's take selfies!" Nath flipped his hair and took out his phone, pretending to take a selfie. Chloe laughed and blushed. 'He is really cute when he tries to act.'

"Not all Americans act like that, silly." Nath turned to her.

"Well, some do. There is a boy in America who outran police." Chloe's eyes shot open.

"Only SONIC can do that. It cant be true." Nath looked at her like she was the stupidest time on earth.

"There is this guy named Serum, and he posted a video of it. I can show you on YouTube." Chloe rolled her eyes and looked at the teacher, who was grading papers while having her headphones in.

"What about our PROJECT?"

"This IS a two week project right? We have plenty of time!" Chloe shrugged. Nath took out his phone, and searched up the YouTube video.

~After watching the video~

"Woah! Amazing!" Nath looked satisfied.

"Told ya!" The teacher looked up, and took off her headphones.

"You two better be working."

"We are ma'am." They said in unison. The teacher looked back down, and they rolled their eyes at her, while laughing.

~With Adrien and Alya~

"So, how did it go with Marinette last night?" Adrien kinda saddened.

"Well, she already teared down all the posters she had of me." Then he smiled.

"But we played Mega Strike 3 and she called me her Mon Chaton." He blushed.

"She even called me hot, and I was able to give her a kiss on the forehead." He blushed again, and Alya smirked.

"Awesome. You just might get her back." Adrien dreamily sighed. Then he smirked.

"So, how'd it went with Nino?" Alya stopped smirking, and her shoulders drooped.

"Well, he was deleting my blog." Then she smiled, blushing.

"He played some music for me and when I had to leave, I landed on top of him. When leaving, I gave him a kiss on the cheek." Even Adrien blushed.

"Woah. You got music, in return, a kiss on the cheek, while I was beaten more than 60 times, and in return, a kiss on the forehead? What a rip-off." They couldn't control their laugh. Only Nino and Marinette heard them. They got angry again.

"They're lovers. Of course they are gonna laugh together." Mari said through gritted teeth. She and Nino looked away. Adrien and Alya heard this, and felt guilty again.
