Marinette smiles at him. Adrien smiles back at her.

         As the two embraces, a pink light surrounds them, along with a blue light.

          The young people do not seem to notice it.

              The beam is so bright that Chole sees it. So does Nathaniel.

          For that matter, people in the next village over can feel it.

                   A man comes outside, panics, and shouts, "Is this the end?"

               A lady agrees with him while others roll their eyes in annoyance.

           Fifteen minutes later, boom!  A loud sound like an explosion is heard.  As for the beam, it disappears off the face of the earth. 

               Marinette and Adrien can not explain what just took place. It is too difficult for them to understand.  The two do know, for now, they have each other, and that is all that matters. 

               Nathaniel and Chole let go of each other now that the frightening mess is over.  Neither of them wishes to speak of it to anyone.  

                  ...Two days ago, that is how long ago it was that Marinette almost died.  It was the same day the strange events took place that scared the daylights out of many Paris citizens. It was the day the stranger came and went.  It was the day, Marinette and Adrien discovered how much they loved each other.  

                 Now, as they reflect back on all these things, Marinette and Adrien wonder if there will ever be a time that people will accept them both as they are other then themselves.

                Who knows?  Perhaps, only time will tell when it comes to these sort of things.

            Adrien looks at his arm and sees it. He did not notice his birthmark until now. It appears to be just an ordinary birth mark.  However, it was not there before today, or was it?   He smiles.  

             Maybe, he will find out soon enough.
