Marinette's cheek begins to change colors, or rather the birthmark does.  Not on this, but it glows a bit as well.  Marinette does seem to notice since she is the one who has to convince herself that she is as beautiful as she believes herself to be and not what anyone else makes her out to be for that matter.  She sighs.

          "Whoa, Marinette!  What is happening?" Adrien says as he sees the area look brighter somehow and it appears to flash off and on!  

           "What do you mean?"  Marinette ask. She has no idea what he is talking about right now. She gives him a look that shows she is not sure what is going on about anyway.

         "It is the birthmark that is what!"  Adrien says. He is literally freaking out about now.  

      *Author's  Note: Who can blame him?  It is not everyday he sees the girl he loves face light up out of the blew.  It is odd, right?  

          "Yeah, what about it?  Adrien, what is it?"  Marinette inquires. She can tell what ever it is seems to really trouble him. She wishes she knew why he was so upset in the first place.

          "How does one explain such a thing?  It is a brighter shade of pink than usual, and almost purple even!  Plus, it flashes like a light bulb does when there is about to be a power outage."  Adrien tells her.  His voice is still in a panic mood as he thinks, maybe she will explode or something!  If something happens and she dies...

          "What?  How could this even happen?  It makes no sense."  Marinette says hysterically. She joins him when it comes to the whole panic thing.

          "Makes no sense that is true, but how do we make it stop?"  Adrien sadly remarks. He sobs. He refuses to stop. He fears the worst.

        "Adrien, calm down! "  Marinette says.

        "Calm down, how?  How when no one can assure us that nothing bad will become of this? "  Adrien states  voice that shows he is afraid, and worries for her.  He does more now than he ever has in his entire life.

          Chloe and Nathaniel hear Adrien freak out and both wonder what is it all about anyway. The two rush to see and gasp.  Both notice the same details about Marinette's face now too.  Neither of them knows how to react to it, or what it could mean.

           "Maybe we should all get out of here to be safe!"  Nathaniel blurts out.

         "Yeah, we should d-definitely do that t-then, N-Nathaniel." Chloe agrees.

           "Wait,we have to help Marinette!" Adrien  exlaims.  He does not want to leave her.  He cannot when he truly does love the girl.

             "Help her!  Clearly the girl is beyond our help!"  Nathaniel and Chloe says together.

              "Fine if  no one else stays, so be it!  There is no way, I will leave her!" Adrien protests. He sees Nathaniel and Chloe walk away together.

                "Psst, Marinette!  Oh, Marinette!"  Someone speaks up suddenly!

                  "Who is it?  Who spoke just now?"  Marinette wants to know.

                 "Marinette, whoever it is just wants to play some cruel joke on us.  We should not waste time with them."  Adrien says.

                "Please, Adrien lets just hear them out."  Marinette remarks.

              "Fine." Adrien remarks. He is not to happy about the idea though.

               "Wise, choice!  Now listen up!  The key to make the birthmark stop with the glow is to believe in yourself!  This means you have to believe that you are beautiful inside and out no matter what anyone else says, does, etc."  The stranger says.

              "Wait, what ?  That is all?"  Marinette says.

                "Yes, that is all!  So, go ahead then!" The stranger remarks.

                "M-Marinette?"  Adrien mutters. He sees her skin turn bright pink as it glows even more. He thinks this is it then, after all this, we loose her in the end?  

                "No, please!  No!  Marinette!  Marinette!" Adrien screams.  

                 "Sorry, about this!" The stranger knocks him out.  

                 "There now he will finally shut up!"  Mystery person says with a smirk on her face.

                    "A-Adrien?  What did you do to him?"  Marinette sobs. She tries to shake him awake, but nothing happens.  She looks at the person and yells,  "How could you do this to me, to him to us?   He is the only good thing that happens and you hurt him!"  

                     "It is gonna be fine!  Trust me, he will be great!  He will have a headache, but other than that he is great!  He is just taking a nap.  So chill, will ya?"  The mysterious stranger scoffs at her.

                   "What?  How can you say this?"  Marinette stands up full of furry!  Her eyes glow now too!  The eyes are now going back and forth from their usual bluebell color to pink with purple specks in them.

                    "How do I save him?"  Marinette pleads with the person who hurt him.

                  "There is no need for all that cause he is not dead.  He is will not die!  He is just unconscious for a bit. Big deal!"  The stranger mocks her again.

                  "Knock it off will ya?"  Marinette blurts out.

                 "Oh, and then what will happen?  Will the ugly scar girl just up and go all fire princess on me or something?"  She retorts.

                "Ugly scar girl!   All my life people say this!  Yet my parents love me, and Adrien he loves me too!  So, somehow then, it seems impossible to believe anymore!"  Marinette stats. She does not realize it yet, but she starts to believe in herself some.

                "What is impossible to believe, Marinette?  Do tell us?"  The woman yells at her.

                "I believe I am pretty!   Pretty inside and out!  Regardless of  marks and all!"  Marinette shouts at the new comer.  

                 "Great, you pass!"  The person says, then just like that she disappears!  Poof!  She is gone into thin air as if she was not there in the first place.

                   Marinette looks at Adrien. She sees he is still out cold.  "No,wake up!  Love, please!  Adrien?    Adrien you are the one  I love!  Please!"  Marinette calls out. She feels tears feel her eyes.   

                 Just about as she is thinks she has no need to go on , she hears a voice say,  "M-Marinette, why soak yourself with tears?  We are okay!  We are!" 

                 Marinette looks up and sees Adrien!   

              "Adrien, but how?"  Marinette mumbles.

            "I was only unconscious for a few minutes. Goodness, you look like you saw a ghost!  Now, babe, I assure you we are fine!" Adrien tells her.

          "Yes, we are at that thank goodness!"  Marinette squeals.

               Adrien looks closer and smiles.  "He notices the birthmark is not doing anything odd anymore.    "The mark it is back to normal.  It is beautiful you know!"  Adrien tells her.

              "Yes, it is!  It really is!" Marinette agrees.
