Marinette arrived at school early and decided to just head into class and stretch as she anticipated the upcoming performances. It was Friday meaning it was time to perform their solos for the boys. Just thinking about them watching- especially Adrien- made her start to blush but quickly shook it off not wanting to be distracted.
Once all the girls arrived and were finished stretching for their performances Mrs. Bustier explained how it was going to work, "Okay, so you are going to perform and the first guy to raise his hand once you are finished will be your partner." After explaining Mr. D'Argencourt and the boys walked in ready to watch all of the girls perform.
"Ali," Rose squealed running forward and hugging him while also quickly kissing his cheek before Mr. D'Argencourt shooed her away. They had been dating for the past year and were very much in love with each other.
"Okay, how about you, Ms. Bourgeois, go first," Mrs. Bustier comments and Chloe excitedly agrees rushing into the middle of the room

As soon as her song finished Nathaniel and Kim's hands shot up into the air but Nathaniel won, barely. Everyone was extremely surprised that Nathaniel had wanted Chloe but Chloe was both relieved and angry. She was angry that Adrien hadn't wanted to dance with her but glad she didn't have to dance with Kim once again.

"Okay now Ms. Hapréle please come forward," Mrs. Bustier called, and after dancing was picked by Ivan. Then it continued: next was Alix who was chosen by Kim, followed by Rose who Ali of course picked. "Okay, next will be Ms. Raincomprix." She stepped forward and got into place.

She may have had a few foot stumbles but all together it was very good. Max instantly raised his hand smiling brightly at her to which she blushed and shyly smiles back at him. Following her was Juleka who was chosen by a boy named Jasper. "Now Ms. Dupain-Cheng."

Marinette knew it was more contemporary but she loved the movements and made sure to at ballet in while staying as tight as possible.

When she was done Adrien's hand shot up as fast as a rocket not wanting anyone to take her but then he realized there wasn't anyone to take her because he knew Nino wouldn't do that to him and the new guy in the corner couldn't pick a girl to dance with. She looked over at Adrien and smiled to which he smiled brightly. She walked over to him as Alya then walked into the middle being the last dancer to perform.

Nino, of course, raised his hand to have her as his partner so that was it everyone was chosen.

"Okay before you start I have a little twist. So, we have a guest who has come he is a professional dancer, Luka. He will be choosing one of the girls to dance with so that chosen girl will have to perform two dances the Monday following next week," Mr. D'Argencourt explains shocking everyone especially the girls as boy with blue hair that fell to his ears and light blue eyes that went well with his tanned skin walked up to stand next to Mr. D'Argencourt.

"Luka! Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" Rose says walking up and giving him a big hug, as he is her brother.

"It was a surprise," He responded smiling down at his little sister before beginning his search for his dance partner.

Luka walked around the room as if inspecting the girls but he had already chosen who he wanted when he saw her dance. "Her," He says grabbing Marinette's hand pulling her away from Adrien's side. She shrieks slightly as he spins her multiple times and dips her bringing his face her close to hers. "I choose her."
"Well, it looks like he's chosen then, Ms. Dupain-Cheng you will be performing a Duet with both Adrien and Luka," Mrs. Bustier concludes as the bell rings signaling that class is over. Luka places Marinette back on her feet and kisses her hand goodbye making a small blush appear on her cheeks. He then walks out of the classroom with Rose and Juleka leaving her standing there in shock.
"Looks like someone has a crush on you," Alya teases rubbing her shoulder against Marinette's as she chuckles. Nino and Adrien stand next to them just listening to what they were saying. If this guy really did like Marinette, which it was kind of obvious that he did, then Adrien was definitely not happy. She was his and he won't let anyone, especially Luka, take her away from him.
Once they all got to Tikki and Plagg's class Marinette had snapped out of her shocked phase. She now acted as if it was nothing to dance with a professional dancer. "Hey Plagg, Tikki guess what happened in our last class!" Alya says dragging Marinette up to her brother and sister-in-law.
"What?" Tikki asks already getting excited though she doesn't even know what Alya was going to say yet.
"A professional dancer picked Marinette to do a duet with him!" Alya squealed to which Tikki joined in while Plagg pulled her into a hug.
"Congrats Kitten," Plagg whispers against Marinette's hair bringing a small smile to her face.
"Also her and Adrien are doing a Duet, so she has to perform two dances," Alya then says making Tikki says, "Oh" dramatically and look at Marinette with a smirk very much apparent.
"Okay, class lets get started," Plagg calls out letting go of Marinette and walking to the middle of the floor to talk about what they are doing today. Marinette stays to the side of the room when Adrien walks over to her.
"Um, Marinette do you think you might want to go out sometime?" Adrien asks shyly scratching the back of his head nervously waiting for her response.
"Sure," Marinette says nonchalantly to which Adrien doesn't think she gets what he is trying to say.
"What I mean, would you like to go on a date with me?" He asks more clearly and this makes Marinette freeze. Before she had never thought he could like her back she told herself she didn't have time for crushes which also meant there was no time for relationships.
"I'm not sure Adrien, I don't really have time for a relationship," Marinette says looking away from him not wanting to see the disappointment on his face though there wasn't any. But there was a whole lot of hope visible in his eyes as he looked at her.
"Just go out with me it doesn't have to be more than just that. And if you really don't have a good time you don't have to again but I just want to get to know you more," Adrien tries to change her mind and even if the thought of her not wanting to go out with him again hurts he has to put that as an option.
Marinette sighed looking back at his handsome face and smiling slightly before saying, "Fine. Yes, I will go out with you." A big grin grew on Adrien's face and he rushed forward hugging her tightly to which she laughed.
"Okay, I'll pick you up from your house at noon tomorrow and we'll go out to lunch and spend the day together," Adrien said excitedly and Marinette agreed then giving him her address so he knew where to pick her up from.
