While the new hero, Vixen, fends off Grief-striker.

Scarlet Bug: Sorry I was gone for so long, Cat.

Cat Noir: Don't sweat it, I'm used to it.
But moreover, is that who I think it is?

The two boys turn to see Vixen fighting against Grief-striker.

Scarlet Bug: Yeah, it's a long story. I'll tell you later.

Vixen dodges all of Grief-striker's attacks, with ease.
Gracefully leaping and backflipping over the splashes of the scythe. Before landing multiple strikes on Grief-striker.

Grief-striker: Grrr! Stop moving, you despicable little fox!

Cat Noir and Scarlet Bug join in, landing multiple hits.
Scarlet Bug barely avoids getting sliced by the scythe, but the scythe slices a tree in half, knocking it over.
Before Grief-striker taking more slashes at Scarlet Bug, before he whirls his yoyo and blocks her attacks.

Scarlet Bug: The Akuma's gotta be in the purse!

Cat Noir: How do you figure?

Scarlet Bug jumps, whirls his yoyo, and knocks the scythe away.

Scarlet Bug: It's got a skull on it. That's where all of the souls she captured went, so, that's probably where the Akuma is, too.

Vixen: That does make sense, but how are we supposed to get it?

Scarlet Bug: Well, we need a plan of attack.

He launches the yoyo into the air, magic ladybugs swirling around the yoyo.

Scarlet Bug: LUCKY CHARM!

As the magic ladybugs swirl around in the air, a red and black perfume bottle lands in his hands.

Scarlet Bug: A perfume bottle? Okay, let's see.

Multiple different scenarios play out at super-speed, in Scarlet Bug's head. Until he finds the most effective one.

His lucky vision locks on: Vixen, Cat Noir, the scythe, and the purse.

Scarlet Bug: I've got it! Cat Noir, get your cataclysm ready.

Cat Noir: You got it, Scarlet Bug.

Cat Noir: CATACLYSM!

He activates his power, a black orb with swirls around it appears in his hand.

Scarlet Bug rushes over to Vixen.

Scarlet Bug: And Vixen, I need you to...

He whispers his plan in her ear.

Scarlet Bug: Can you do that?

Vixen: Absolutely.

Vixen plays her flute, and twirls around.
A bright glowing orb materializing at the end of the flute.

Vixen: Mirage!

She launches the bright orb, and in a blinding flash, Grief-striker's vision is filled with a bright light. And when she opens her eyes again, she sees Adrien Agreste, standing in front of her. And the heroes are nowhere to be seen.

Adrien: Marinette?

Grief-striker's angry expression soon softens as she sees Adrien.

Grief-striker: A-Adrien?!

Unknown to Grief-striker, Vixen controls "Adrien's" words, while hiding from Grief-striker's view.

Vixen/Illusion Adrien: Yeah, Marinette, it's me.
The heroes said that you were akumatized, and told me to come here.

She slowly lowers her scythe.

Grief-striker: Wh-Why did they send you?

Illusion Adrien: The heroes figured I was the only one you'd ever listen to, apparently.

Grief-striker's eyes begin welling up with tears.
Meanwhile, Scarlet Bug vibrates both himself and Cat Noir beyond the visible spectrum, in order to get close to Grief-striker.

Grief-striker: Then they were fools to bring you in.

She slashed at the illusion, causing it to dissipate.

Grief-striker: What?!

Scarlet Bug and Cat Noir turn visible once again.

Scarlet Bug: Hey, Cloak-and-Dagger, heads up!

He sprays the perfume bottle, and as Grief-striker slashes, the perfume mist temporarily disorients her.

Cat Noir grabs the scythe, causing it to turn to dust, Scarlet Bug then grabs the purse from Grief-striker's hip, and Vixen leaps in and holds Grief-striker with her flute, so she can't move.

Scarlet Bug: Your days are over, Akuma!

He tears the purse in two, and the Akuma flies out of the bag.

Scarlet Bug: No more evil-doing for you, little Akuma.

He opens the yoyo, and whirls it around.

Scarlet Bug: Time to de-evilize!

He captures the Akuma, and grabs the yoyo.
And releases the purified butterfly.

Scarlet Bug: Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly.

He takes the perfume bottle and throws it in the air.

Scarlet Bug: MIRACULOUS SCARLET BUG!

The Lucky Charm disperses, and the Miraculous Ladybugs reverse all the damage.
Restoring all the people Grief-striker affected, back to normal. Along with repairing Marinette's purse.

Grief-striker de-transforms back into Marinette.

Scarlet Bug, Cat Noir, and Vixen: POUND IT!

Now, in Hawk Moth's lair.

Hawk Moth: Impossible, I was so close! I don't know how you managed to escape my grasp, this time, Ladybug.
But I swear, I will obtain all of the Miraculous, even if it's the death of me!

The giant kaleidoscope shudder closes, leaving Hawk Moth's lair in darkness.

Cat Noir looks at Scarlet Bug.

Cat Noir: How did you manage to come up with a plan with just a perfume bottle?

Scarlet Bug: Simple, the perfume bottle was similar to the ones Adrien Agreste uses in his advertising. So I had Vixen create an illusion of Adrien as a distraction, the only person that Marinette would listen to.

Cat Noir: Oh, now I get it.

Marinette: Uhh, what happened, where's my...?

Scarlet Bug: Looking for this?

He holds up Marinette's purse, and gives it back to her.

Marinette: Flash, is that you? What happened?

Scarlet Bug: It's Scarlet Bug, Marinette. You were akumatized.

Vixen: But thankfully, we managed to stop you before you could do any serious damage.

Marinette eyes the new superheroine, in confusion.

Marinette: You're not Rena Rouge, who are you?

Vixen: I'm Vixen, Scarlet Bug brought me in to help free you from Hawk Moth's control.

Scarlet Bug: Ladybug, didn't tell me the identities of the other Miraculous wielders, so I had to improvise.

Marinette looks even more confused, until she realized what he meant.

(Beep, Beep, Beep!)

Soon, the three heroes Miraculouses start blinking, alerting them to the fact that they were about to de-transform.

Scarlet Bug: We've only got a few minutes left, before we transform back. Cat Noir, you head on out, Marinette, I'll be back to check on you.
But, first things first. Vixen, you come with me.

Vixen nods, and he rushes both of them away.
Leaving Marinette to head back to her house.
