"Finn!!!" Mew ran behind Fang who just stopped just behind the tree, Mew quickly walked ahead to be shocked by what he saw, he stood catching his breath while his heart was beating fast from running around the forest, he starred down in dibelieve, there was Finn sitting so comfortably into someone's lap, Gulf who was startled looked up to them with confused wide eyes, he first glanced to Fang then up to Mew who was starring back

Fang drew closer checking on Finn who refused to get up feeling cozy laying on Gulf's lap who was gently brushing her white fur, Fang who also felt safe sat down resting his head next to Finn on Gulf's knee, Mew kept watching them in disbelieve, this has never happened before, not even with his family

"who are you?" the older finally asked, Gulf flinched as if he was just awaken from his daze

"I'm Gulf Kanawut, one of the students who came two days ago" Mew who recognized the younger's name walked closer

"your group is the east part of the forest what are you doing here alone?"

"I started walking and taking pictures and when I noticed I was lost, soon after I found... euh, Finn is her name right? Well I found her with an injured leg, I treated her and then kept walking until I somehow reached this extraordinary fascinating beautiful place" Gulf explained looking to the wide field smiling slowly rubbing Finn who was feeling even more comfortable than before, Mew noticed Gulf admiration to the view and his tender smile, he also couldn't help but keep staring at Gulf and then to the scenery as a warm soft wind blow mixed with the sweet unique scent of the flowers making them both feeling peaceful and calm falling into an enjoyable silence.

"btw, may I ask who you are?" Gulf asked breaking the silence, Mew looked down with a little smile on his face

"I'm Mew Suppasit, the King of this island"

Two months ago...

Gulf is a PhD student in xxx university, he is a 27 years old young man aiming to be a nature researcher, since he was a kid he loved everything about the nature, he would spend hours just walking around the small forest close to his place or stare at the nature pictures on his phone, he loved everything, the trees, the herbs, flowers, sea, butterflies, the sky, the soil...

Gulf is also an animal lover, he adores all kind of animals, even the scary ones like tigers and Lions and crocodiles, when he goes to the zoo he would go from cage to cage admiring every animal without being bored, sensing how much love Gulf has for them, the animals also feel at ease and quickly get closer to him letting their guard down, Gulf is so close to all kind of animals that it's not weird to see him surrounded by cats and dogs while just walking outside of the campus.

Growing up with his love and adoration to nature, as soon as he got into university, Gulf completely focused on becoming a researcher studying all kind of things like herbs and their medical use, the rare animals, the soils, he would assist in any lecture that has something to do with nature, he even joined astronomical club studying about the stars and space.

The young man is a top student in his faculty, he was popular for his attractive looks, his friendliness and since animals likes him means that he is a very kind and gentle thus no person could resist falling for him, he actually have a couple of good friends and was also close to his teammates in his lab work but Gulf mostly focused on reading book and watching videos about nature.

Out of everything, Gulf loved a certain flower the most, he would look at it every day wishing that he will be able to get a real closer look at it, 'Blue Dahlia Flower' (A/N it's the one in the picture above) it makes him feel so calm, strong and optimistic, for his the photograph of the flower is like a lucky charm and always carry it with him, he feel so attached to it that he would do anything just to be close to it and touch it

This nature loving student not just wants to be nature researcher but he like a nature archeologist but instead of going around searching for past civilisation, old bones or going into tombs, he would like to travel around to search for the rare herbs and animals, to find new kind of flowers and maybe even fields and places that no one found yet, but there is one thing that is standing in face of his dream, his family.

Gulf is born in a political family, his father is a famous successful top lawyer, his mother is a serious and earnest well recognized judge, even his 2 years older brother followed them by becoming a skillful well known prosecutor.

Since he was a kid, Gulf felt so out of place, he just didn't feel like he belonged to that family, he loved watching animal shows while his family were the type of people who only focused on the recent news about their country, Gulf would sometimes feel like a stranger at his own house, even the thought of being actually adopted passed his mind

What more made him distant himself from them is that they were completely against what he was studying, they kept nagging him to stop playing with flowers and start seriously studying Law and all but Gulf refused to listen to them and did what he actually wanted, they were so furious about his choice but since he was the top of his faculty they couldn't complain or make him change speciality.

Yet since he started university, a wall was build separating him from the rest of his family, for him to birds and the elephants in the zoo are closer to him, whenever he had a fight with his parents, Gulf would ran into the close forest and would lay there until late at night feeling at peace and comfortable, he felt like mother nature was his real mother, he doesn't know why he was born like this loving nature more than his own family but he can't help it and his dream is to live at a place where there is only pure nature surrounding him.

Gulf graduation project was half away done, he would spend hours studying and reading books, doing some experiments with his teammates in the Lab along with his supervisor who have been working as his assistant for 4 years now, he stays in the lab until late and would just go back home to sleep and then wake up early and leave, he would only see his family once or twice a week.

Of course he was depressed about living like this, not being able to be close to his own family, it also hurt him not being understood and accepted by them, watching them talking about cases and the law all the time while he had to stay quiet made him feel lonely looking like an intruder, to make it worst, his older brother got engaged to this girl who is just like them so she quickly blended in and was accepted right away in the family while Gulf had to keep his distance watching them from afar that's why he kept working and saving money so he can rent a good apartment and move out as soon as he graduate.

Aside for his family, his life was going smoothly, he will be graduating in a few months and needed to advance in his work but at some point he got stuck and needed to go travel to some place that will help him and that's when his supervisor approached him with a huge gift

"a ticket?" Gulf looked to the old professor who was smiling widely with excited look in his eyes, Gulf was confused scanning the ticket

"we are going on a trip to a certain island, it's called ' ieró mitrikó island' "

"I've never heard of it"

"well, it's unknown island in some unknown place in the middle of the pacific ocean, it's ruled by a royal family who denied any contact from the outer world, but finally, the new king who got chosen last year started to accept visitor in his island but of course everyone who goes there must absolutely follow all rules"

"you got accepted?"

"yes, I've been sending them a letter almost every month, I personally would love to go visit this island, just imagine it that it still has the original nature from centuries ago, it was not destroyed by the modern life and we surely will find all kind of beautiful trees and flowers, even the soil must be studied" Gulf noticed the shining stars into his professor eyes which also made him excited

"I'd love to go too, thank you so much professor, it's my dream to visit a place like that"

"I know that's why I'm taking you with me along with three other students who also need to work on their graduation project, I already started arranging things with the university since we will be staying there for a month, here make sure to fill this papers and give it back in the evening, also prepare your things and make sure to take both warm and light clothes since we don't know how the weather will be there, we will be leaving this Sunday, of course make sure to notify your family" the professor said as Gulf looked down

"you know that my family is against everything about this"

"I know but just in case of unforeseen accident or maybe if we got stuck on the island for a while longer, your family at least should know where you are"

"I understand, thanks again professor, this is the most precious gift I ever got" the old man patted on Gulf's head smiling, a trip to an island is a chance for Gulf to discover new life there, but not just the nature and the animals, Gulf was also curious about the people living there who kept refusing all contact with the outer world for centuries

After preparing everything, notifying his family that ended up in a fight, Gulf rushed to the airport to find his group and professor waiting for him, he was sad about leaving like this after the fight with his parents but he was not going to miss this golden opportunity

"btw, professor, how are we going to communicate with the people there?" a girl from the group asked

"that's what surprised me about this island, even though it had no contact with the world, they actually talks in English"

"so the first people who got there must be English people, maybe Americans or British" another boy said

"maybe, we will know everything when we get there, now let's head to our plane"

"omg, a private plane?" another girl exclaimed

"yes, since the king wants to make sure that no rules are broken and that his island will remain safe and it's position remain a secret, he bought this private plane and only who are accepted can go there and the pilot is the only person who knows the exact position of the island, according to him it's about 13 hours flight so to anyone who knows that he may get sick make sure to drink your medicine and do not cause any problems on board"

"professor, we are not kids!" the other boy said as the rest giggled

"I know but I also know that you are curious students and would surely go around bothering others" the professor said making all of them look around smiling, they were amazed by the inside of the private small plane, it has only 10 places, aside from Gulf's group there was four other people inside, an old rich couple and their daughter and her husband, Gulf kept looking outside watching the sky and the white clouds and without noticing he fell asleep

Gulf woke up several hours later, to find everyone else asleep, it was dark outside, they left by 5 pm so they would arrive around 6 in the morning which excited Gulf more, he may even has a chance to watch the sunrise, it was a little past midnight, Gulf who felt a little hungry slowly and quietly made his way to the small kitchen in the back, he ate a light sandwich and drank some juice then he kept walking around a little more stretching his legs before returning to his seat, soon after he went back to sleep

"hey Gulf! Wake up, we are almost there" his professor woke everyone who quickly sat up, the PhD student looked outside to be astonished by the island, it was three times bigger than what he imagined, it was this special unique shape and on each side there was smaller islands that had almost a circular shape, the water looked so clean and its deep blue was stunning and the island mostly had forest, it wasn't like other islands surrounded by mountains, this particular one only had one mountain on the north east side of it

As they got closer, Gulf could see a big fascinating castle that stood tall on the far north west of the island, it was surrounded by a lake separating it from the village or the city or whatever it was, the castle looked like those for fantasy stories with a snow white brick walls and round deep blue roofs, for Gulf it felt like he was entering the world of stories about royals and he loved it.

Soon after, they landed on the small island on the right, as soon as he stepped out Gulf was greeted by the most pure air, it smells so clean and refreshing a mix of the sea and trees scents made everyone completely awaken, they slowly walked around watching the view in front of them, aside from the part where the plane landed everything else was covered by fields of herbs and flowers and surrounded by tall trees

"hey look, the sun is rising" one Gulf pointed out as they all stood watching it, the first ray of sun felt so warm and made them all smile widely admiring it, Gulf was already recording the sunrise on his phone memorising it second per second

"this is the place" he murmured already enjoying himself.

This is the beginning of Gulf's adventure...
