Gulf's POV

After watching the fascinating sunrise, we were led to the hotel, each one of us got his own room, it was more like a big villa than a hotel, my room has a closet facing the window, a Japanese floor table with two cushions and a Japanese thick futon, at first glance you would think it's imitation to Japanese style, but except for the table and the futon everything else has the touch of American style, the curtains, the wall decoration, of course on each side there were candles.

I honestly liked my simple room, I felt so comfortable, not just my room, the island itself made me feel extremely peaceful, the pure clean air is refreshing, the scent of the nature that engulfed me the moment I got out of the plane is very calming and alluring at the same time, this is a paradise for me, I unpacked my thing and then went down to find some people preparing breakfast for us

This is really like a villa with two floors, downstairs is the kitchen and the dining room along with two extra big bathrooms, upstairs there is only bedrooms, there is about 12 rooms I think, since I slept a lot on the way here, I felt completely awake and ready to start exploring any time

"good morning sir" a woman in her thirties approached me, I quickly bowed my head

"good morning, please just call me Gulf" she smiled

"I hope you will enjoy yourself in our treasured island"

"I already love it here"

"I'm glad to hear that, breakfast will be ready soon, is there anything you don't like to eat?"

"I'm not a picky eater, I'm sure anything you will make will be delicious" she smiled again

"thank you Gulf, you could sit here and wait for a while"

"of course" truthfully, I wanted to go out for a walk instead of waiting but I had to follow the rules, tourists are forbidden for going out there alone without a guide which is totally understandable, I looked outside the glass window that was facing the large dining table, suddenly I felt smth brushing against my legs, I glanced down to be surprised by a fox like cat circling around me, I smiled and picked it up rubbing it's back

"wow, you are so beautiful, I never met a cat like you before" I took my phone and took a selfy then continued rubbing and it seem the cat liked it, not a minute had passed and another fox like cat got closer so I also picked it up and I started playing with them, I was astonished by their pure orange fur and their colored eyes

"oh, lilly, cally, what are you doing here?" a girl in her early 20s said noticing the cats

"they are yours?" I asked still playing with them

"ah, yes, it seem they followed me, I'm surprised they let you pick them and touch them, they are usually reserved with strangers"

"since I was a kid I loved animals so I think they could feel that love"

"I see, what's your favorite animal" she asked coming closer playing with cally while I kept holding lilly

"I don't have a favorite one, I actually love all animals"

"but there some scary ones"

"I know but I can't help but love them"

"you are weird" Gulf smiled

"I hear that a lot" we kept talking a little about the animals and I was surprised to know that on this island there is so many animals like wolves and bears and even fox and gorilla, after eating the modest yet super delicious breakfast, a guide came and showed us around the town, the houses were almost similar on each side with a long road that either lead into the forest or straight to the castle, I kept taking pictures all the time getting amazed by everything around

I could feel that the town people were a bit on guard but they kept greeting us, I saw children playing with a ball, they looked so happy running around, I stopped taking pictures of them, admiring their innocents smiles, we kept walking around until sometime after noon, the place was bigger than I thought so when we got back we all went to our rooms to rest, just when I laid down

"Gulf, do you want to eat lunch now?" it was the woman from the morning

"no thank you, I'm tired so I'm going to sleep until everything, please don't trouble yourself with cooking for us"

"it's no trouble, it's natural to take care of our guests"

"thank you so much"

"then I will call you for dinner, rest well" she said and went away, after dinner we sat right outside talking and exchanging small talks until late, the next day, we did the same thing too and I was having the most fun time of my life, on the third day, they arranged for us to eat breakfast outside near the forest, the air and scenery made us more hungry and made the food even more tasty, just when I finished I glanced to the entrance of the forest to notice some flowers

"mister Asher, may I go just over there to take pictures of the flowers?" I asked our guide who also joined for breakfast; he glanced to the flowers then to me

"of course, just don't wander off far or you may get lost"

"thank you, if you finished, you can go ahead of me for your tour, I will stay here to watch the flowers and trees" I started walking and capturing the lovely, colorful flowers and herbs that I noticed, each time I walk a little I would find a new stunning looking tree of roses and of course I was so focused that I didn't notice that I was walking farther from the entrance of the forest

"I think I took enough pictures" I stood and turned around

"which way did I came from" I looked around, all the ways looked similar, I panicked a little walking around a little, suddenly I started hearing w faint whining, knowing that I was already lost I started following that whining, I slowly walked around listening to it, it wasn't human's groaning in pain, it was definitely and animal

After following the voice for a few minutes I finally saw the source of the whining, it was a white wolf with injured leg laying down, the wolf was so mesmerising with it's Jasmine white fur and deep blue charming eyes, when I noticed the little blood coming out of the injury I started heading toward it. The moment it saw me, the wolf got tensed up and even tried to move but its leg quickly gave up, the blue eyes were intensely watching me and ready to attack me if I get closer

"calm down, I'm here to help you, I will never hurt you" I said softly stepping closer while the wolf was still on guard

"a small piece of wood is stuck into your leg, that explain why you couldn't even stand up, let me treat you, I'm a good person" I was just next the wolf leg, I knelt down as it bend closer sniffing me, feeling that I wasn't a threat, the wolf that it's actually a she, laid down as I started gently treating her, thankfully I was carrying my first aid box in my back pack, the wound was a little deep but nothing to worry about

After treating her wound, I carried her and started walking around trying to find my way out of the forest, after all the wound needs a better care, I was glad that she was staying still and calm in my hands, it's actually my first time touching a wolf, I was nervous for a moment there but it all went well

After walking for about two hours I finally noticed a little hill, I ran toward it to try and see anything from it but what I found almost made me drop the wolf, it was a large field of my favorite blue flower, I kept looking at it for a minute with my mouth open, finding my blue flower here is a miracle, I started walking around as the flowers sweet scene filled my nose and lungs, there was a big tree on the other side so after laying the wolf there I return and took a hundred of pictures admiring the charming flowers that had a different hues of blue

"this place is a real paradise for me" I thought enjoying the soft wind that carried the flowers scents around, I felt so peaceful and really calm for the first time in my life, I forgot about everything else, I walked and sat under the tree as the wolf laid on my legs enjoying herself being gently caressed by me

Mew's POV

It's been two days since the new guests arrived but I was so busy and couldn't go meet them, today while I was talking to Leo, I noticed that Finn and Fang were sulking since I didn't play much with them recently but I couldn't help it so I promised them that we will go to our secret place later

Sometime later, Fang came to me and started half biting on my leg wanting me to follow him, I was confused since Finn wasn't here, I quickly stood and ran behind Fang who led me into the forest, we kept running until we reached some spot where I noticed some blood

"did Finn get hurt?" I asked out loud as Fang looked down, I was so worried at this point, he started sniffing following Finn's scent then he started dashing and I followed closely behind wishing that Finn would be alright

"this way, it leads to our place" I said noticing the familiar path

"Finn!! Where are you Finn!!!" I started calling out for her

"Finn!!!" I called out again as we reached the big tree, I noticed that Fang stood looking behind the tree so I followed him

"I'm Mew Suppasit, the King of this island" the student looked stunned to a moment then he smiled bowing his head a little

"it's an honor meeting you King Mew, thank you for letting me come visit this wonderful charming place"

"I'm glad to know that you love it here but you shouldn't have broken the rules and wandered alone" I said making him look down

"I'm sorry, I always loved nature and I couldn't stop myself from admiring the flowers and herbs and the trees, in a way I'm glad I got lost since I ended up finding this place, the blue dahlia flower is my most beloved flower, I can't pass a day without looking at it in the photos, seeing it in reality is a miracle for me" he said looking back to the fields

"Dahlia flower?"

"yes, that's the name of this lovely sweet flower, it also come in other colors but blue one are the rarest and almost impossible to find around the world, I'm really grateful for you letting us come here, I really wish I was born here" he said with a smile yet a little sad look in his eyes, he really seen like someone who truly loves the nature and animals loves him too, even Finn and Fang and letting their guards and resting next to him which never happened

"this is actually my secret place, no one comes here, having someone here feels weird"

"I'm sorry, ah, btw, we should hurry and get back so Finn can be treated better" he slowly stood up still carrying her, I took her from him, he took his back and started following me back, I noticed that he stood watching the flowers one more time then looked down with a tender pure smile and started walking behind me again. Just when we arrived to the forest entrance, we found his group looking worried

"omg, Gulf!!! Where have you been ?!!" a girl jumped asking him while he kept smiling assuring them that he was fine

"anyway, everyone, greet the king of this island, it's King Mew Suppasit" he said introducing me as they all quickly greeted me

"I'm so sorry King Mew, my student must have caused you some trouble" the old man who is the professor apologized

"he didn't trouble me at all, he actually treated my wolf and kept her safe, well I need to take her to the doctor, I will come back again so we can have a nice talk, have a good day" I said and walked away

"that student, Gulf, is so interesting right?" I asked Finn and Fang while we were laying on my bed

"even both of you enjoyed his company and weren't scared of him, besides he looks like he really loves it here, I can't wait to meet him again, it's nice to talk to a tourist who also love the nature, I'm sure he knows a lot about it, he even knew the name of my favorite flower" I said looking outside already planning how to approach him the next day.

"oh, King Mew!" the guide exclaimed making everyone look my way, I quickly finished all my work and went to meet them in the afternoon

"good afternoon, King Mew!" they all greeted with a smile, Fang and Finn who was still injured went next to Gulf who knelt down and welcomed them with open arms and started rubbing their noses and back making everyone around astonished

"you are amazing Gulf" one the tourists said

"an animal lover like always" another one said

"I won't be surprised if I see you playing with a lion next time" his friends giggled

"animals would never make fun of me unlike some people" Gulf said making his friend laugh even louder

"I was surprised to see my wolves close to someone, they usually don't interact with anyone"

"Gulf love and is loved by animals, he would spend hours in the zoo starring at them" one of his friends said as I sat down

"the zoo?"

"it's a place where they keep different animals and take care of them and where other people can go and enjoy watching those animals" the professor explained

"I see but isn't it sad for the animals to be locked up"

"not really locked up, they are kept in a little wide place that is well prepared according to their original place, they are fed and cleaned everyday" Gulf explained sitting down patting on my wolves who laid next to him

"oh I understand, then those animals are the lucky ones"

"yes they are" we kept exchanging small talks like this for a while

"oh, I need to go study the herbs near the lake" one student suddenly said

"me too, I need to check the soil there" the girl said

"If both of you are going to the lake then I will join and check the rocks there, what about you Gulf?" Gulf thought for a while

"there is a couple of flowers close by that I want to check you go to the lake guys"

"don't get lost like yesterday"

"I won't, it's just a few meters from the entrance so don't worry, what about you professor"

"I'm an old man so let me rest and you youngsters go study, if you have any questions you can ask me later, I'm going back to take a nap" I saw everyone walking in different direction, the guide went with the three student while Gulf stood and took his back ready to go into the forest, he then turned facing me

"we are sorry we all left like this, actually we came here to study the pure nature, I promise we won't destroy and harm anything we will only observe"

"what do you mean by study?"

"umm, like for example what kind of soil that the flower needs to grow, or how much sun or how much water, the type of flowers and their use"

"their use?"

"every herbs and flowers here can be used to heal people, or can be used to make poison, or can be used as a spice for food and we nature students research on those things"

"you can make a medicine using herbs"

"not me, well I do have some knowledge and experience about that but there are more professional doctors who do that"

"it's true that we have been relaying on a few herbs for heal colds and injuries but I'm surprised to know that flowers can be used too"

"if you want I can show you some flowers and their use too"

"I'd love to" like that we both went into the forest, he kept taking pictures and showing me around explaining about every flower and herb we come across, everything he said was really interesting and made me know more about my island

I'm glad I accepted the students to come this time, I feel like I'm going to learn a lot from Gulf...
