Third Person P.O.V.

Yume lays on her bed when rolling absently. Suddenly, she shrieks before pulling the quilt over her head. 

After shrieking, she slowly pulls away the quilt when breathing out a cold sigh. Sitting up, she looks out from the transparent window. She can only see the branches of a huge tree. 

From the views outside, she can easily know that it is already in autumn. Chilly wind rattles dead yellow leaves that still clung to the branches of the trees. Those leaves try their best to resist defiantly, but finally cannot withstand and are being blown to the ground.

Yume sighs again glumly. " I am already resigned. I cannot avoid the fate that being killed by him... Although he failed that time, he will not give up until killing me by his hands. " She never worries about her own life, but also Subaru's one. He has been exposed to boss. She does not know what is boss thinking about, but she only realizes that she will only bring danger to Subaru. " I don't want him from being hurt by boss. I cannot just think of myself. I should remain a distance with him... " 

She softly buries her head in her arms, and mumbles, " Can I really do so...? " A droplet of salty water streams down her cheek, falling on her clothes.

From that day on, she starts ignoring Subaru when hiding her own grief. 

" Yudetako! Yudetako! " 

She hears him shouting behind her when he is running towards her. 

She is now jogging on the usual path when accidentally encounters a person she does not want to meet, Subaru Yuki.

He finally catches her when grabbing her wrist to make her face him directly. " Yudetako! Why are you avoiding me? Why do you ignore me when I am calling you? " She can notice that his face changes from a cheerful and playful expression into a serious and a little bit hurt one.

Seeing his face seems to make her heart prickle. A warm stream of unknown feelings try to flow out from her inner heart, but she stops them from expressing in front of him. She exposes her cold and ruthless side, stares directly into his eyes, and says plainly, " Huh! Who are you? Why should I have to listen to you? I am so busy now. Please don't disturb me, Yuki san. " 

She can notice the shock and sorrow from his darkened sapphire blue eyes. Her heart just like being stabbed by a sharp blade, blood flowing out from inside. Pain, revulsion towards herself and agony overflows from her heart and fills her whole weak body. 

She does not care about the agony she received in this moment. The only thing for her is, to make him forget her, and even hate her... 

Thinking of this, it just makes her fall into a desperate black hole which has no hope and light...

It has been like this for a week. Yume and Subaru have seldom met since that day. Even they met, they just ignored each other and walked away, just like strangers. 

This should be the purpose of Yume's plan, but why is she not happy when it is achieved? Why does her heart seem to miss something important to her? She cannot help but starts questioning herself, is it what she actually want?

She knows, she needs to evade from touching the gash in her heart. Therefore, she finally chooses to put all her efforts and mind into works. Making herself busy, seems to be a good idea for her to forget the pain. Therefore, in her spare time, she will jog or do some part time jobs outside the school. Except the time for having meals and sleeping, she tries her best to arrange her timetable to be filled. Without her noticing, she is getting overloaded. Dark circles around her eyes are so obvious and her weak body is so easily observed by the others.

" Yume chan, are you alright? You look so ill... " Laura asks with apprehension when having lunch with Yume, Ako and Mahiru. 

Yume looks up to see them with a pair of tiring eyes, and says tersely with a stiffened smile, " I am fine. " She drops the fork on the plate with remaining rice, and gets ready to leave for the next job. 

" Eh? You only eat a little... You can't eat too less! You will faint! " Mahiru snarls with astonishment and concerns when checking Yume's plate. 

Yume seems to be startled and flinch backwards a bit. " Um... I am not so hungry... I have to go now, otherwise, I will be late. " Then, she rushes to the exit and leaves.

Mahiru looks at the empty seat which has been sit by Yume and accuses, " She pushes herself too much. " 

Ako finishes her own meal, and says when wiping her mouth with tissue paper, " You should know, she will not listen to us even if we talk to her about this. " 

After listening to Ako's comments, Laura widens her ablaze eyes with delight when jumping up from her seat. " Right! Ako chan, you are right! " She exclaims when holding Ako's hands tightly. 

Ako stares at her with shock, and soon growls in a low voice, " Laura... What are you doing?! You make me fear!!! I think that I will have heart attack soon if you continue surprising me like this!!! " She shakes her hands away when resting on her hip to express her anger.

Laura smiles nervously when fiddling her pink curly hair. " Sorry, Ako chan. But your words really give me a great idea! She may not listen to us, she will definitely listen to HIM !!! " Her eyes are sparkling when saying the word " Him ".

" Wait... Y-you d-don't mean h-him...right...? " Ako flinches with sweats on her forehead. 

Mahiru and Laura rush to the front of Ako, pushing their faces close to her one. " You don't mind, right? " Their eyes are full of plea. They blink their eyes to make them more innocent. Ako gazes at their glimmering eyes and makes a long sigh, nodding for consent.

Laura and Mahiru look at each other with a great bright smile before gripping Ako's wrist and hurtling out of the canteen to the M4 dorm.

On their way, they see Subaru and the rest of M4 training in the sports field in the boys' division. Being fortunate, they immediately rush down the long stair and catch Subaru without any words. The others seem to be shocked since they are all finding Subaru.

" Why do you come? If you don't have any urgent things, you girls cannot come to boys' division, you know? " Subaru says with annoyance.

" We do... we do have something urgent to tell you... It is about... Yume... Subaru senpai... " Laura says when panting and wiping off sweats on her pink cheek.

He widens his eyes when gripping her shoulder forcibly, " What? Yume? What happen to her?! Are she sick? Are she injured? Are she in danger? Where is she now? What happen to her? Please tell me!!! " He asks with a taut expression when shaking Laura's body, making her feel dizzy.

Nozomu notices and immediately catch Subaru to stop him from hurting Laura. " Calm down , Subaru kun! I know you are very worried now, but you should give her time to tell everything to you. " 

Subaru calms down a bit after listening to his words. " Sorry Laura san. I am too worried and nervous, so can you tell me now? " He says with concerns in his face.

After knowing Yume's situations, Subaru bites his bottom lip with concerns. His friends notice, and says, " Subaru kun. You can leave now. We can practice without you. You should find Yume. The most important thing in your mind now is her, right? " 

Subaru looks at them with gratitude and nods. " Sorry guys. I will spend more time to practice with you soon. I have to go now, bye. " He leaves when leaving them words.

Ako stares at him when biting her lips with frustration. Her actions are all observed by a green hair boy with glasses.

After finishing the work of being a temporary helper in the school library, Yume decides to jog for a while to kill time.

When jogging on her usual path, a dizzy sensation suddenly comes to her brain. Everything in her eyes become blurred. The images are spinning in her eyes. She cannot run any meters in this situation. Slowly stopping for a while, she closes her eyes to try to get rid of the dizzy feeling. However, it does not work actually. Therefore, she decides to somewhere to sit and take a rest.

She unconsciously walks to the bridge between boys' division and girls' division. " Why will I come here...? " She mutters in a soft and weak voice when sitting under a tree.

She leans against the trunk and looks up to the blue silky sky. Without anyone there, she can only hear the songs of birds and small insects. The memories with Subaru under this tree flow into her mind without her permission. She does not want to remember in this moment but at the same time she has a desire in her heart to think of these sweet memories. A familiar prickle in her heart occurs again. Her hands slowly reach on her chest when a row of salty water is streaming down her cheek, leaving a trace of it.

" I want to see him! I know I cannot, but I still want to! " She snarls hoarsely with her whole heart.

A sudden autumn chilly wind reaches and brings coldness to this innocent girl. A light and weak yellow leaf lands on the ground elegantly with the relentless wind,  reminding the girl the sorrow of death.

She seems to cry even harder. She can only know that sorrow has already overflowed in her heart. She buries her head in the arms when weeping. She does not want anyone know that she is crying.

Some words seep out from her mouth without noticing. " I really miss him... I know, if I cannot hold myself the desire to meet him, I will bring danger to him one day... I don't want him die because of me! ... I know, I must not meet him. I don't want to see him hurt because of me... But... but... I really want to see him... " The murmurs are enough loud to let the person behind her and the tree to hear...

She cannot hold her back. She can only shout in the gradually cold air. " Subaru Yuki! I miss you! I miss you! " 

A pair of warm arms snake along her small waist and wrap around her. This totally surprises her.  However... She calms down from shock quickly since...  This familiar breathing pattern ... This familiar fragrance from the body ... This familiar warmth ... These all remind her of someone...  She knows, it is him... Subaru Yuki...

" Subaru kun... Sorry for hurting you before... I miss you... " She says between her cry. More tears are flowing out from her swollen red eyes.

" I miss you too... I didn't talk to you this week since I didn't want you to get hurt because of me... Sorry My Yudetako... " A reply fulled of love and warmth seeps out from the mouth of the one behind her and it makes the girl's heart dissolve.

Subaru uses his hands to turn Yume around, making her face him. A cute crying face immediately appears and brings a smile on his face. 

They cuddle the whole day. Without her notice, the tears are already dried and a bright smile is replaced on her pretty face.

She understands, she does not have enough courage to leave from his warm body... to leave from him, her love one...

So... the day of leaving him is delayed...
