Third Person P.O.V.

S4 and M4 will have a combined concert next month. Therefore, they are discussing the venue of it in a practice room at school.

" Maybe we can hold it in the Central Grand Hall near TVShine station? It is convenient to go there. " Hime suggests.

Subaru raises his eyebrow up in surprised when hearing that name.

" That's nice! And it is big enough to provide more seats to our fans! They must be happy! " Yuzu says with a bright smile when clapping her hands.

Tsubasa says when writing something into the notepad. " Right! Let's decide it to be... " 

Suddenly, a loud slapping sound echos in the small room. Subaru slaps his hands on the table. Everyone stare at him with shock. 

" I reject your suggestion. We cannot hold our concert there... " He says in a low voice with a bitter expression, just like he is trying to restrain his anger and arch.

" Why? " Hime asks in confused, at the same time, she is shocked by his reactions.

Her question seems to touch the deep wound in his heart. He widens his eyes, and responds rudely, " That's none your business! " Then, he rushes out from the room impulsively with fury. 

All the members in S4 feel bewildered. They ask the rest of M4 about him. 

" He must still concern of   that incident  , right? " Nozomu asks bleakly when looking at his friends. They nod when their expressions become fathomless.  

Members of S4 look at each other with puzzlement, then ask curiously, " What incident? " 

" We cannot tell you. This is the secret of Subaru. We cannot tell without his permission. " Kanata says with a shrug. " We should continue our discussion next time. See you later. " Then, they leave, remaining S4 feeling baffled.

" Subaru's secret...? " A girl with blonde and pink hair murmurs outside the practice room when hiding behind a pillar. " I never know it too... " 

After running out the practice room, Subaru immediately feels that tears are surrounding his eyes, getting ready to rush out. He does not want anyone to see him cry. He just wants to run to a place where is no one around him, unconsciously, he goes to a place where he never wants to go back, the Central Grand Hall. 

" Why will I come here... ? " His heart guides him to go up on the stage. He can never control his tears again, only letting them streaming down his cheek. All the painful memories hiding in the deep side of his heart recall in his mind. He can only use his hands to cover his whole face and sob quietly.

There are suddenly light footsteps echoing in the hall. He hears it and looks around. Turning to the back, he notices a girl with blonde and pink hair walking towards him.

He immediately wipes away his overflowing tears on his cheek and surrounding his eyes with his hands. " H-hey Yudetako... C-can you leave me alone...? I-I am practicing ... for my d-drama... " He stutters when trying to act nothing happen. However, a warm and soothing hug from Yume cuts his words suddenly. He can never hold back his sorrow, but cries in her cuddle.

When crying for about 15 minutes, he finds that no tears is formed again and the tears on his cheek are already dried.He raises his head from Yume's shoulder and looks at her eyes.

" You are getting better now? " She asks with a smile, which seems to warm his heart up. He slightly nods when hiding his embarrassment. 

" Sorry if I have surprised you. I just worry about you when hearing your conservation with S4 in the practice room... No! I am not hearing those purposely!!! I-I just walk past that room and accidentally hear them... " She says when blushing in embarrassment. " Um... I worry about you ... so I secretly follow you here... " 

A warm hand suddenly lands on her pink cheek. She looks up and meets a pair of sapphire blue eyes. She smiles when a light flush appears on her cheek. The hand slowly moves downwards and holds her hand. He pulls her closer to him and sits on the edge of the stage together.

Yume knows that he is upset. She does not know the reason, but she does not ask him anything since she is afraid that she will recall his painful memories again. She would only love to stay by his side and support him.

" Why don't you ask me anything? " Subaru suddenly asks when gawking to a distant place. 

" Huh? " Yume is surprised by his question. Even he is willing to tell her, but she does not want him to be hurt.

He turns to her face and smiles bitterly, " I am fine to tell you. Maybe I just need someone to talk to. Can you be my listener? " 

Yume nods. She softly squeezes his hand to let him know, he is not alone. She is always here to support him.

Maybe it is ridiculous. She wants to stay with him and support him, but at the same time, she chooses to leave him...

He understands the meaning of her action. He gives her a light smile before starts telling her a story.

When he enters Four Stars Academy and became a real idol, he participated a famous singing competition in order to raise his popularity. His dream was always to be the number 1 male idol in the world. The competition was exactly held in that Central Grand Hall.

He was so outstanding that he finally entered the final round. He was really excited about it. In the day of the final round, his parents decided to come and see his performance.

When they were just in front of the hall and crossing the road, a car suddenly lost its control and accidentally hit them seriously. They were totally covered with bright red blood.

They were still conscious at that time. They used their remaining energy to take out the phone in the pocket and phone Subaru. 

Subaru was the next one to perform on stage. He finished his final preparation and looks out from the backstage to find his parents from the crowd of audiences. However, even he looked again and again, he could not find them out. He started thinking something bad, but he immediately reassured himself immediately, they might be late only... 

The phone rung suddenly. He took out his phone and noticed, it was the call from his parents. He was delighted when receiving it. " Hey Mom and Dad! Where are you? I am going to perform... " 

He was totally shocked when he heard them saying wearily, " S-Subaru kun... W-we both love you... " 

" W-what happen...? Why are you saying this in this moment... ? "  He said when flinching a little bit.

A loud scream came from the outside. Someone said that there was a car crush outside.

When hearing the news, his heart sank, just like plummeting down to the cliff. The victims would not be them, right...? He rushed outside when comforting himself.

When he finally got out from the hall, he could only see a crowd of people. They seemed to surround something or someone. 

He tried his best to squeeze inside the circle and enter the center. What surprised him was that, his parents were laying flat on the ground with blood.

" Mom! Dad! " He rushed and knelt beside them, grabbing their hands with his shaking one. Tears started to form and drop on their faces, mixing with blood.

Their hands started reaching his face and wiping away his tears. " Son... We are going to die... "

" I don't want you to die... Please stay alive and take care of me... I cannot live without you... " 

" No... You can... You will meet someone even important to you in the future... "

" No... no... I won't... I just want you two... " 

" You will. You will see her in the future... But for this moment, you should not cry... You should now go back to the hall and smile brightly on stage... We both want you to win the competition and be a successful idol... Can you achieve our last wishes? Our good son... " 

Subaru nods when wiping his tears on cheek. They smiled and closed their eyes forever peacefully. He widened his eyes when he discovered that they would not get up again. He tried his best to control the tears surrounding his eyes, preventing them from falling down. 

He got up and got ready to rush back to the hall for the performance. Before he left, a yellow leaf from ginkgo fell on their bodies and was stained by blood...

" You finally won the competition, right? " Yume asks curiously when hugging her feet with her both arms.

He nods steadily and says, " Since I was not such famous at that time, no one remembered that accident. " 

" So... You cannot perform on this stage because of sorrow, right? " She asks again. 

He thinks for a few seconds before answering, " Maybe... I will remember those memories when coming back to this stage... But the most important thing is that ... I think that if I perform on this stage, something bad will happen on me or someone I love... " 

Yume smirks when looking closer to him, " I never know that you are a superstitionist. " This brings a small smile on his face.

" I finally know the reason... " Yume says with a smile. " Why you aim to be a well-known idol in the world. You are amazing that you almost do it... " 

Subaru blushes a bit and buries his head between his arms.

Yume suddenly stands up and walks to the back of Subaru. She kneels down and surrounds his waist with her arms. She softly places her head behind his when hugging him from the back. This totally surprises him when her hands are placing on his abdomen. He immediately blushes into a tomato.

She slowly closes her eyes when saying, " You should perform here. Your parents died outside here since they wanted to see their beloved son perform and be the first star. You should not be limited by this place. You should do everything to achieve your goal. The concert is important, right? Therefore, you should make sure it to have a great success. You should show your parents how their son have grown up, they must be glad about it. " 

She slowly interlocks her fingers with his, and whispers into his ears, " I will also be here to support you. I will help you to face your sorrow and overcome it. " 

Tears of joy start overflowing his eyes.   She is a really nice girl, right? 

" Yudetako? " He suddenly says.

" Huh? " Yume says in confused when opening her eyes to look at him.

" Do you remember the day that you secretly entered Venus Ark to steal things? " 

" Yes, so? "

" That day I cried... Actually, I never cried after my parents died. Even there was grief, I never cried since I still remembered their words. Until the day you went to the Venue Ark alone, you made me worried about you... You were the first one who made me cry after their death, you know?  " He tells her when still gripping her hands.

" Really? " She chuckles. 

He slowly nods with a bright smile. He never tells his past to the others except his friends in M4, who can be trusted by him. However, he tells all these to Yume. That means, he trust her so much...?  

He finally realizes, Yume is a very important person to him. In this moment, he just wants to tell his parents in the heaven, he finally finds her, the most important person in his life...
