Third person P.O.V.

Today is the school picnic day of Four Stars Academy. Students will go to the beach to have fun.

It is already three days since the day insulting her friends. Since Yume still does not have courage to apologize to Laura, Ako and Mahiru, so she is alone from the tourist coach to the beach.

When she gets off the tourist coach and walks to the beach filled with white sand, she notices M4 in a place which is not very far away. They have already changed into their swimsuits. Since M4 is a famous male idol group, they are surrounded by a large group of crazy fans girls. They scream excitedly when Subaru and his friends wave at them. Yume suddenly feels a unfamiliar twist feeling in her chest, pressing out her breath. She uses her hand to press on her chest, and murmurs, " What is this painful feeling? What's wrong with me? " Subaru discovers Yume when struggling away. He yells loudly when waving his hands, " Hey! Yudetako! Yume! " All the fans girls stop screamimg. They all follow his sight and their sights finally all land on Yume. Yume is totally shocked. However, a feeling of satisfaction reaches her heart when Subaru leaves all the pretty girls behind and comes to her front. " Yume chan, let's come with me! " He holds her hand and pulls her away. She gazes at their intertwining hands and shows a small serene smile.

" Subaru kun, do you know that I become the rival of all the girls here because of you?" Yume asks. " I know but I don't care since I will protect you. " Subaru says without hesitation. Yume smiles with her true heart. When realizing what he has just said, Subaru cannot control to blush into a crimson red. When they are strolling on the beach hand in hand, Ako is staring at them behind a coconut tree.

" Yudetako, you should change into swimsuit too. Or you don't have swimsuit? " Subaru looks at her school uniform and smirks. Yume blushes with embarrassment. She stammers sheepishly, " I-I am not g-going to swim. " Subaru  shrugs and sighs. He pulls Yume to find Hime. When the members in S4 see them, they smirk teasingly. " W-What do you want, Subaru kun? " Hime asks when trying to control her laughter. Subaru stares at her with a death glance. Then, he slowly speaks out, " This Yudetako does not have swimsuit. Will you have any solutions to help her? "  Yuzu yells, " I have  I have! I have a new swimsuit which is never used. Yume chan, you can come to try it on! " She pulls Yume and enters the changing room. After a few minutes, Yuzu comes out when pulling Yume out forcibly. Everyone gaze at Yume when holding their breath. " Yume chan! You are so cute! " Hime exclaims when Yume tries to hide her body with an embarrassed expression. She is wearing a pink bikini with white dots and pink lace. " Doesn't it contain too few cloth? " Yume yells with light pink cheek. " We are also wearing these! And swimsuit should be like this! You wear it nicely too. Your breasts are in a nice size ... " Hime says when chuckling. Yume screams when Hime is getting into an embarrassing topic. At the same time, she does not say anything to reply since she cannot find any excuse not to wear it. Subaru sighs. He walks to her and pulls her out when holding her hand. " Bye everyone! Thank you for helping! We will leave now! " He waves at them and leaves with Yume.

When they pass through a group of boys, Yume can sense that they are looking at her with disgusting expressions. She wraps her arms around Subaru's right arm unconsciously. She then buries her face into his arm. Subaru looks at his partner and teases her, " Oh! You are the type of girl who is lack of confidence. " She just makes some nonsense when her face is turning red. He sighs and grips her shoulder to make her face him. He lifts up her chin and his eyes stare into hers. " Yudetako! You are idol now! You should enjoy the attention of the others on you. " Yume nods with a faked smile. Then, they continue to stroll on the beach. 

The sky is so expanse and in a blue color. The sky seems to be connected with the blue ocean. Subaru pulls Yume into the water. " Wait a minute! Subaru kun! I don't know how to swim! " Yume screams with fears. " Huh? " Subaru exclaims. Then, he slides his hand into hers. " That's okay! Let's me teach you! " He grins. Then, he wraps his arms around her body and pulls her closer to him. He looks down to meet her eyes, and whispers, " Remember to stay at my side! Yudetako! " He smiles charmingly, which makes Yume blush without her notice. Then, they start the swimming session.

Subaru and Yume get back to the beach when they are totally wet. " I never know that swimming is so relaxing! Thank you, Subaru kun! " Yume smiles sweetly. Subaru blushes and turns away at once, he murmurs in a very low voice, " Just for you... " He blushes even harder after realizing the words he said. " What did I think just now?! Don't have this mind! "  He thinks in his messy mind.

 " Ahh! Yudetako? Do you want to eat ice-cream? " Subaru asks to relieve this embarrassing atmosphere. Yume's eyes go blanked. " Ah? Ice-cream? I always heard this words on TV and on street. What does it taste like? " She asks. Subaru is totally surprised by her questions. He screams loudly, " You never try ice-cream?! " Yume nods. " My boss thought that eating it wasted money and it was childish. "  Subaru can't help and sighs, " It is a dessert. It tastes sweet. It has a lot of different favors such as chocolate, strawberry and mango. " " Which favor do you choose? " Yume asks. " Um... chocolate. " He answers after thinking for a second. " So... I have chocolate too. " She says. Subaru gazes at her when shaking his head with helplessness. Yume sits on the beach to wait for him. When he comes back with ice-creams,  Yume stares at the cups of ice-cream in a little bit amused. " This is ice-cream? " Subaru sits down beside her and hands her a cup of chocolate ice-cream. " Why is your ice-cream in pink color? " Yume asks when comparing her ice-cream with his. " Mine is strawberry favor. " Subaru explains, " You eat chocolate ice-cream and I eat strawberry ice-cream, so that we can share to each other! " He winks at her. Yume flushes and starts licking the ice-cream. Suddenly, her eyes widens with surprise. " Delicious! " She exclaims with joy. Subaru gazes at her and smiles serenely. He also licks his strawberry ice-cream. " Subaru kun! can I try yours? " Yume asks when licking her ice-cream. Subaru nods and hands her his ice-cream. When Yume licks it happily, Subaru suddenly has an embarrassing thought, " Are we having indirect kiss?  " He blushes when licking his ice-cream again. He senses that Yume is staring at him. He takes a look on her. She is staring at him without blinking. " Why are you staring at me? " Subaru asks when blushing again.  She suddenly pulls out her hand and slowly puts on his cheek. " What is she doing?! Will she feel the heat on my face?! "  This thought is bumped into his mind. His sapphire blue eyes is now staring at her sunset red eyes. He can see his nervous face in her eyes. Her thumb slowly moves to his lip and wipes away the cream on his lip. " I am done! Your mouth is clean now! " Yume says happily and continuing licking her ice-cream. Subaru gazes at her with shock, then he exhales in relieved.

" Hey! what should we do next? " Yume asks excitedly. " Play volleyball? " Subaru asks. Yume suddenly grins, " Nice idea! I will win you if we play volleyball! I am in school team of volleyball in middle school! " " Eh? Really? " He asks with a teasing smirk. " Of course! Playing volleyball is my another strength except stealing things! " She says with confidence. " Eh? I heard that you wanted to play volleyball. Can we join you? Will we disturb your special moment? " Asahi, Nozomu and Kanata say when holding a volleyball and walking towards them. " I don't care. " Yume says when looking at Subaru. He stares at his friends with a death gaze. Asahi laughs, " That's nice! Let's go! Yume chan! " He holds Yume's hand and rushes away with Nozomu and Kanata. Subaru murmurs something before following them.

After several matches, Asahi, Nozomu and Kanata lay on the beach tiredly for a rest. Yume walks to Subaru, who is laughing next to them. " Subaru kun? " Subaru looks up to meet her eyes, and asks, " What's up? " She turns around to look at the sunset. " Thank you, Subaru kun... This ... is the first time that I feel so happy. I think this is the true happiness. This is given by you, and your friends of course. Anyway, thank you so much. I have a lot of fun here. " Subaru gazes at her back and smiles brightly, " You also give me a lot of fun too. Thank you, Yume chan. " Yume turns around with surprise and then smiles back to him. The sun shines on her hair and makes her gold hair look even golden. Nozomu props himself by his arms. He gazes at them and says, " You two are so soppy~ " Then, Asahi and Kanata chuckle. Subaru and Yume look at each other and blushes. They shout at them at the same time, " Shut up! "

" I have to leave now! We have a special M4 performance with S4 there. Remember to come! " Subaru tells Yume. She nods and Subaru leaves with his friends.

Yume comes near the stage. She watches it in a far place. She does not want to stand with the crowd. The show just starts. She watches it with all her heart, without noticing about 6 girls walk to her. One of the girls pulls Yume on the ground with a strong force. Yume gasps painfully. " Huh! You are not so pretty! Why does Subaru kyun like to stay with you? Are you seducing him? " A girl with a beautiful face scolds her with a furious expression when kicking her at her abdomen. Yume winces when the pain transports to all her body parts. She bites her lip a bit and clutches the girl's  right leg. Then, she uses a strong force to topple over that girl on the ground. That girl screams painfully and shouts at her friends, " Hit her, everyone! " Yume stands up at once and wrestles with those girls. A girl comes to Yume and wants to hit her on face, but she is kicked by Yume on her legs and she kneels down on the ground. Another girl wants to kick her when Yume is hitting the other girls. However, she is discovered and she is thrown on the ground with a great force. When Yume almost wins and she is going to escape, she stumbles against a boulder and lays on the ground. The other girls see that and scamper to her to take revenge at once. " Just a few hits... That's okay... " Yume thinks levelly. She bites her lip to prevent any scream coming out from her mouth.

" Stop! Otherwise, I will tell the teachers and M4! " Laura shouts at them. Ako and Mahiru stride to Yume and help her up. The other girls snort and leave with fury. " Are you alright? Are you mauled by them? Yume chan... " Laura asks searching the wounds on Yume's body. " I-I am fine... Why do you rescue me? I ... " Yume stutters in confused. Mahiru hugs her suddenly. She says, " We have forgiven you! Subaru kun told us that you had a painful past, so you could not trust the others so easily... " Yume suddenly screams, " He told you everything?! " " No! He just told us that you had a painful life in the past. That's all. " Ako says with a cold voice. Yume gazes at Ako and walks to her. " Don't you hate me just like the other girls? " Yume asks.  Ako peeks at her, " I will hate you if you are not my friend... However, I will take the heart of my Subaru kyun by my own! Listen! I will not let you to steal my Subaru kyun!!! " She points her index finger on Yume's forehead to make challenge. Yume chuckles sweetly. " This is the first time we saw you smile at us... You are pretty! " Laura says when poking Yume's cheek with her finger.

" Yudetako! Are you alright? " Subaru rushes to Yume after the show. " I heard that you was hurt by my fans... Sorry... I promised that I would protect you... Sorry...  I will use all my ability to protect you from now on... " He says when hugging her tightly with tears. Yume blushes in his cuddle. Laura and Mahiru gaze at them with a teasing smirk while Ako is staring at them with anger and jealousy...
