Yume P.O.V.

I walks in the pier with a stagger. Pain from the ankle runs through my body. I cannot maintain my balance and I have to lean on the wall to walk forward. This reminds me the day that the boss killed me. I find a wooden stick on the ground. That's nice. I pick it up at once and use it to prop myself. I try my best to walk. I cannot fall in here. 

In this situation, I cannot help but think of Subaru. He caught me when I was seriously injured. However, how can he know my situation this time? How can he know that I am here? No, he will not know. He will not come to help me again. I should not rely on him too mush...

When I am telling myself not to give up, my legs are already out of energy. I cannot control myself anymore. I know that I am going to collapse and lay flat on this cold ground. No one will save me. The wooden stick has already left from the grip of my hand. I close my eyes to get ready for the hit of my body on the cold concrete ground. 

Out of my expectation, something warm wraps around my body and pulls me into it. I can distinguish this familiar and soothing smell from his body. I already know who is he. Subaru kun...  I slowly open my eyes. It is really him. " Subaru kun... " I murmur with a weak smile. I stare into his sapphire blue eyes. It always reminds me of the calming ocean. I can always feel calm when looking at his eyes. However, this time I can see worry in his eyes. He worries me?  He puts one hand under my back and another one under my legs. He lifts me up in bridal style. And then, he brings me into a car. " Go back to school, please. " He tells the driver. 

When the car is driving, we keep silence but the atmosphere is full of care and love.  He pulls me into his cuddle and he places his head on my shoulder. I know that he must be very worried... I snuggle into him unconsciously. He seems to be surprised by my sudden movement, however, he does not refuse and pull me away. He just allows me to lean on him. I can feel that he is smiling. Why? I don't know. However, I should not care about this right now. I just want to tell him something... I move closer to him and whispers into his ears, " Subaru kun... Thank you... This is the third time that you have caught me... " I can see that his ears turn into red color at once. It is cute... He must not want me to look at his face right now. Therefore, I just continue to stay in his warm cuddle. Soon, I fall into a deep sleep inside the protection of him. I trust him more now, right? 

Subaru P.O.V.

After knowing everything from Principal Moroboshi, I decide to find Yume. I ask the others to stay at Four Stars Academy to wait for my news. They agree, then I leave at once. 

When going to the pier where Venus Ark Located, I feel that my heart is pounding heavily. Yume's smiling face appears in my mind repeatedly. How can I live if I cannot see her smile again...? What if she is in danger...? I cannot think further. Tears already roll down my cheek. This is the first time I cried after  that incident  ... It is heartbreaking ... 

Yume... You must be fine...

After arriving the pier, I start searching here. It is so dark. The darkness seems to engulf my hope. " Yume chan! Yume chan! " I cannot hide my grief but scream out her name loudly. I really can't think of my life which is no Yume...

Suddenly, I hear that someone is panting in pain in a distant. I walk to there. When seeing that small figure, my eyes brighten up. My heart is overflowed with happiness. Yume!

When rushing to her, I find that she is going to collapse. I quicken my pace, and fortunately, I catch Yume in my arms.I cannot control myself and pull her closer to me. When feeling the soft touch of her skin and the familiar smell in her ombre hair, I find reassurance in my heart. I lift her up in bridal style and bring her into the car. Then, we are on the way of backing the school.

We keep silence, but unexpectedly the atmosphere surrounding us is full of care and love.

I take a glance on her. I worry her so much. I miss her. I feel hurt when noticing her injured ankle. I cannot take it anymore. I suddenly pull her into my cuddle without her permission. It is rude to do this to a girl suddenly, but I cannot hold on my heart. I don't want to hide it. Out of my expectation, Yume does not struggle out of me and slam me. Instead of it, she rests her head on my chest when closing her eyes. I softly place my head on her shoulder. I don't know why, I want to stay with her forever... I love her sweet smell. I love her gold and smooth hair. I love her pure and soft skin. And I love her bright pink lips. I want it so much... WHAT?! What am I thinking about? These thoughts make me just like a pervert! 

When I am daydreaming, I sense that she is snuggling into me. I never expect that she will do this... I can feel that butterflies is flying in my stomach. My heart starts fluttering with excitement. She starts moving closer to me and whispers into my ears, " Subaru kun... Thank you... This is the third time that you have caught me... " My face is totally turned into crimson red. I can feel that my ears are heated up too because of her tickling warm breath. I don't want her to see my face now! It is really embarrassing!!! She seems to be able to read my mind. She never tries to look at me. I smile unconsciously. 

After she reminds me, I just figure out that I have saved her three times. The first time is when she was seriously injured by her boss. The second time is when she forgot to take drugs. Then, this is the third time. How can I always save her? Maybe... it is fate...? 

I can hear a small snuff from Yume. I look at her. She has fallen into a deep sleep in my cuddle. I softly blush her hair. I wonder, maybe she starts to trust me more? 

Yume P.O.V.

When I wake up from my nice dream, we have already arrived in front of the school entrance. After noticing that I am still in the cuddle of Subaru, I push him away with embarrassment at once. I blush a little. I take a glance at him. He blushes too. I can't help but chuckle lightly.

When I try to get off the car on my own, Subaru jumps off the car from the opposite door quickly and runs to my side. He suddenly kneels down and calls me to climb on his back. I obey and lay on his back. Then, he carries me into the academy. He is so strong. I can feel the strong muscles of his back. I wrap my arms around his neck and place my head on his shoulder. His soft chocolate brown hair softly blushes on my face. I can smell the fragrance of shampoo from his hair. I discover that his ears are reddened again. He is so cute, right? I grin and hide my embarrassing face in his hair.

I notice that there are a group of people in a distant. After focusing, they are Laura, Ako, Mahiru, S4 and the rest of M4 members. Why are they here? When they notice us, they rush to us with joy.

" Yume chan! We are very worried about you! Are you alright? " They ask in a hurry. I shake my head, and reply, " I am fine. " " Are you lying? Your ankle is injured! " Subaru shouts with concerns. " Let's head to the clinic! " Hime yells and brings us to there.

After hearing the news, Principal Moroboshi rushes to the clinic to visit me. I am laying on the white bed weakly. " You should not disturb her now. Can't you see that she is weak? " Subaru shouts but I stop him. I pull out my iPad from the bag and hands Principal Moroboshi the photos of " Stars Note ".  " Do you understand? " I asks with curiosity. " No, but I think that I can bring them to ask my friends. They are the professors of languages. They may know. " He says when borrowing my iPad away. " Take some rest. You can skip the lessons tomorrow. " 

After watching his leave, I turn to look at my friends who are surrounding me. I don't not know how to explain everything to them.  They may hate me after knowing my true identity. It is reasonable that not being friends with criminal. I stammer in front of them. " Yume chan, you should take more rest now. We will visit you tomorrow. "  They say before leave. 

" Don't you leave, Subaru kun? " I asks in confused when I and Subaru are the only people left here. He suddenly holds my hand softly and murmurs with a sincere face, " I have said, I will not leave you alone. Please allow me to stay with you. " I stare into his eyes. I can truly feel his care and sincereness.  " Although I have only a little of security, even though I am not a reliable person for you, I want to guard you no matter what happen... "   He says when staring into my eyes. Is that true? Are his words true? I can feel that my face is heating up. My mind go blanked... 

Suddenly, I feel pain on my forehead. " Aah! It hurts! " I scream when covering my forehead. He smirks teasingly, and says, " Why are you daydreaming, stupid Yudetako! These words are just lines of my new drama! " I sure know that! He is not that person! I pout my lips with annoyance, and mutter, " Please leave me alone. " I feel that he is poking my cheek. " Sorry la... " He laughs. He is so annoying, playful and frivolous!!!  " Please stop! " I shout. He looks at my serious face and soon stops. " Sorry, Yume chan... I should know that you hate the others lying to you. Sorry... Can You forgive me? " He says with pleading movements. I ignore him, but it is really interesting. I am laughing in my heart?!  He sees that and... He - He - He ... He suddenly snuggles into me!!! He pleads for my forgiveness with a cute puppy voice. Looking at his cute face, how can I continue to hate him? I chuckle a little. " You have forgiven me? " He asks with a bright and hopeful smile when looking up to meet my eyes. I nod when blushing his hair softly by my hand. My heart is so warm now. And it is swelled by happiness. I know that, my personality has changed a lot too... What is happening on me?

" Do you know how much worries inside my mind when you were disappeared? I even argued with Principal Moroboshi when knowing the truth! " He says when laying near me on the bed. And my head is placing on his right arm as a pillow. I never know why do our positions become like this finally. However, I have a strange feeling, I don't want this moment to be ended! I hope I can stay like this with him forever... Is this Love ? NO! I will not love him, right?  Don't think about this! Nijino Yume ! Don't think about this!

" Yume? Yume? Yudetako! " I snap out of my thought when Subaru is calling me crazily. " What? And stop calling me that! I am not a tomato now! " I yell with a relaxing smile. I feel more comfortable when hearing him calling me Yudetako. Besides, I feel a little bit warmth in my heart. Am I sick? 

We have chatted for so long. And soon, we both fall into our dream. I never know that I am hugging him around his waist during the sleep...

Next Day...

There are noises around me. Sunshine makes my eyes prickle. I open my eyes when struggling. I will not expect that, my eyes will meet this familiar sapphire blue eyes in my first sight. He has blushed into crimson red when my face is heating up too. The noises enlarge. I look around and find that Laura, Mahiru, S4 and the rest of M4 are surrounding us. They are smirking teasingly. I finally know that the light made my eyes prickle is not sunlight, is flashlight of camera actually.

We wake up with embarrassment. " Subaru kun~~ I never knew that you and Yume... " Asahi says with a strange tone. " Our boy has finally grown up~~ " Kanata teases. " Shut up you guys!!! " Subaru shouts at them with an extremely red face. " Yume chan~~ You should be pleased that Ako has not come here~~ " Laura points out with a low voice near my ear. Suddenly, Ako rushes in when gasping for air. " Sorry... I am late... " She stutters. I, Laura and Mahiru sigh in relief.

" Um... Now I should explain everything to you... " I stammer nervously. I turn to look at Subaru to seek for help. He smiles encouragingly and comes closer to me. After finishing the story, Laura suddenly weep out. Why? This is not so touching at all... Hime senpai pats on my head softly and whispers with a pitying face, " You had a poor life..." Do they think that I am pity? Hime continues her sentence, " However, you have us now! We will support you and accept you! We never care who you are actually. You are our friends no matter who you are. Right? " She turns to look at the others. They nod with a bright smile. I never expect that the things will go in this way. My heart is pounding in a weird way. However, I enjoy this feeling... I can feel that Subaru is smiling brightly at me, so I repay him the best smile I ever have in my life, I think.

Soon, they all leave to have lessons and works. I stay alone in the clinic. After checking my ankle and helping me to fix my leg, the nurse allows me to leave. She leaves me a message. It is from Principal Moroboshi. He asks me to see him in his office.

He just asks me to keep everything secrets in the public... I sigh in relief. I think that he will threaten me again. However, he has promised me not to use my past to threaten me. That makes me feel relieved. I surely keep everything secrets! I don't want to go to jail either...

After going back to my room, a staff gives me a parcel. It is strange. There is no name of sender and address. I carefully open it and only find out a bottle of colored liquid and a piece of small paper. I investigate on the weird bottle. I open it and pour some into a metal box. The metal melt!!! The liquid is corrosive! That's lucky that I did not drink it! I read the message on the paper. My eyes widen after seeing those words... The paper falls on the cold ground without any notice...

Dear Nijino Yume, 

Do you still remember me? I am so surprised that you did not die even I have hit you so hard... 

I know that you have a good life of being an idol... However, I will not leave you survive! You have to die!  This corrosive liquid is just a warning. I will promised you that I will let you die in a peaceful way. However, if you tell the others about me, I will sure that this bottle will fall on your head next time!  You will die in pain and horror.

Elza sits in her office and flips the " Stars Note " calmly. She suddenly smirks with slyness, and murmurs, " Even you get it, what can you do? You will never understand... "
