Third person P.O.V.

Yume wakes up early and decides to have a jog in this fresh morning. She also wants to use this wonderful time to tidy up her messy mind. After encountering Subaru from that day, she discovers that she has changed a lot, especially in her personality and the ways treating the others. Firstly, she met a lot friends. They treat her well. Even they knew that her past was complicated, they didn't care it. They never asked her about it too. They told her to tell them once she is comfortable to explain to them. Secondly, her idol works go well gradually with the help of S4 and M4. Thirdly, she feels that there is something unknown between her and Subaru. When she stays with Subaru, she will always feel something warm and sweet in her heart. Is it a good sign?

She has jogged for three laps around the school already. A question, which has raised for a long time, continues to annoy her mind. Why does Subaru help her a lot? This is a mystery for her in this moment. She has thought of it a lot. Does Subaru want to use her for some purposes? Does he want to use her as a promotion of his helpful side? Does he just see her as a toy? These all seem reasonable, but she rejects all of them. She has a thought which has no evidences supporting it, Subaru Yuki is a good, nice and considerate man... Thinking of him, she smiles serenely with no reasons.

Yume does not notice that there is an abandoned plastic bottle on the middle of the path. She steps on it and slips on it. Her mind goes blanked with her widened eyes.

When her head clears again, she finds that she is being held by Subaru. His right arm is wrapping around her waist while the left one is holding her right arm. They are in a close position. His gleaming sapphire blue eyes is staring into her shimmering sunset red one. They can feel each others' warm breath. Yume does not know what to do. She puts her both hands on her chest when staring at his eyes. She can almost feel the pounding heart in her chest. Both of them blush, but they don't want to let each other go. This is a strange feeling for both of them.

The insensitivity of his right arm alarms Subaru to let Yume go. " A-are you alright? " He asks nervously when still having a red face. When he sees Yume nod, he feels relieved at once. He complains with a sigh, " Stupid Yudetako! What are you thinking about? You should always notice the safety of the road! I am not always on your side to save you! " Yume is shocked when he says it. At the same time, she is upset about it. She should know, Subaru will not always by her side. He will leave her one day. Not mentioning death, he will find his love one one day. He will spend all his time with his love, but not her. She is just a friend to him. She conceals her grief and respond with a grudging smile, " Right! Thank for saving me. And sorry. I should not bother you. I will pay more attention on it. Bye! " Yume starts to run away after waving at him. However, her arm is gripped by him. She turns around with a bewildered expression. She asks, " Is there anything else? " However, she notices that Subaru is staring at her with a panicky face, " You know that I don't mean it. " He slowly holds both of her arms and has a unswerving gaze on her eyes. " I just mean that I may not be your side when I am working. Don't misunderstand my words! I will always stay with you, I promised. "

Yume and Subaru jog together. When they are weary, they sit on the soft grass to take a rest. They lay down and look at the sky. They start talking about their recent works and somethings interesting. " You have more works to do now. I am so glad to see that you are becoming a real idol. " Subaru softly pats on her head to give her support and praise. Yume blushes a little due to his sudden touch.

" I will always stay with you, I promised. " Yume suddenly remembers his words just in this morning. She sits straight immediately and looks at her knee. Subaru looks at her in confused and follows her to sit up. " Do you have any problems? " He asks with concerns. She gazes at him. " These questions obsess my mind for so long. I want to know the answers. Can you tell me the truth? Why do you help me? Why do you always care me? ... And ... am I special to you...? " She looks back to her knee and waits for his answers. When he hears the last question, his face heats up quickly. He swallows nervously.

Yume P.O.V.

I finally ask him. But... why I will ask him the last question? I say it carelessly. Although I want to know it from his mouth, I also don't want to hear the answer that I don't prefer.

Looking at his embarrassing and nervous face, he makes me feel nervous too. I look away from him. I can feel sweat on my palms.

Suddenly, I am pulled into his arms. I never expect it and I shriek. My head is placing on his shoulder when I am leaning on his warm chest. I put my hand against his chest and feel that his heart is beating like trapped wing. I can feel that his arms are wrapping around my back and waist. This gives a special feeling of warmth and excitement. I can smell the fragrance frim his body. His head starts moving closer to my head. His warm breath tickles my ear. I can feel that my ear is heating up. He whispers into my ear. " I help you and take care of you just because you are an important person to me... " I blush after hearing the word "important ". What does he actually mean? Special friend? Or something even special? I can't understand.  He continues to whisper, " I know that you do not believe the others easily due to your painful past. It will be too hard to change you immediately. However, I treat you with my true heart. I think your new friends do so. Therefore, please believe your friends more. And you can rely on me more... " Then, he puts his hand on my head, twirling my pigtails. " And I want you to know, I will always here to wait for your true heart... " He whispers the last sentence into my ear. I know that I am blushing crazily. What does he mean? Maybe he doesn't know too. Maybe time can give us the best answer. Just wait for it. I can't help but smile with relief.

I sense that the atmosphere is so awkward, so I decide to ask him something...

Third person P.O.V.

Since the atmosphere surrounding them is so awkward, they both want to say something to relax it.

" Have you eaten breakfast yet? " They say at the same time with the exact words. After realizing it, they both blush into crimson red.

" Your fans girls will get crazy if they see us eat breakfast together. " Yume shrugs with innocence. Subaru gazes at her when cupping his hands on her cheek on both sides. " I don't care. The most important thing is, I am in your side to protect you. " He takes her hand and pulls her to the canteen.

There are a lot of girls with fury kn their faces in the canteen. They are all staring at only one table.

" Stupid Yudetako! The corner of your mouth gets dirty by creams! " Subaru smirks teasingly.

" Don't call me Yudetako! I am not tomato! And I am not stupid! Just accident, okay? " Yume shouts at him with annoyance.

Subaru laughs with amusement. He slowly reaches his hand to her mouth to wipe away the stain. Everyone gasp at his movement.

Ako is hiding behind a pillar and showing her cat claws. " Meow meow~ Subaru kyun is mine~ ! "
