Yume P.O.V.

I have just finished the photos shooting work in the studio. The sky is already darkened and it is decorated by glimmering stars.  And I am working back to Four Stars Academy in this quiet street in this cold evening.

It is so tiring. I stretch my body to my limit to relax myself.  When I continue to walk, I sense that someone is tailing me.

Who is he? Why does he do this? Will I get into danger? He maybe...

I start running because of fears. I can hear the footsteps behind me get faster. He starts running too. He is really following me! When I turn around slightly in order to see his face, I can't see it since the surrounding is too dark. When we pass through a street lamb, I notice something shimmering in his hand.

My mind starts to go blanked. May it be... a knife?

I quicken my pace and rush. I suddenly hear that his footsteps are getting closer to me. Running faster, the Four Stars Academy is getting closer to me. I try my best to dash into the school. Since there are securities in the school entrance, he cannot enter. I stand still and breathe heavily. I look back to see whether he leaves. There is no one outside the school. I sigh in relief for my safety. I get back to my room then.

Even Laura meets me accidentally in front of my room and she notices my weird actions, I do not tell her this. I will not tell anyone about it, especially Subaru, since I don't want them worry me. Subaru has done many things for me, so I don't want to hinder him because of this small incident.

Then, it has passed a few days. In these days, I did not see that man during my routine. I just lived in my world safely.

Today, I have to attend a TV show. I enter the lobby of the TV station and walk to the lifts. Suddenly, I see four familiar boys in front of me. One of the boys has chocolate brown hair and sapphire blue eyes. It is really him. It is so strange that I am so excited when seeing him. Maybe the reason of it is that I have not seen him for a few days. I only talk to him on phone. Maybe I miss him...?  I rush to him with light and quick steps when crying out, " Subaru kun!!! " He turns around in surprise and catches me who is bumping into him. I can hear that his friends is chuckling behind us. 

After realizing our hugging positions, we separate at once with slightly red faces. " Stupid Yudetako! How can you rush like this? You will easily get hurt if I am not here to catch you! " He softly scolds at me with a light smile when flicking my forehead with fingers. I pout lightly. When he sees my face, he giggles, and soon he asks, " Are you here to work? " I reply with a bright smile, " Yes! I have to attend a TV show. How about you? " I can notice that he blushes a little bit when seeing my smile. Then, he replies, " We are here to promote our M4 new songs. Anyway, good luck to you. You know that you will become a tomato if you are nervous~~ " He smirks with a teasing smile. I pout again when saying goodbye to him. Then, I enter the lift when M4 enters the other one. 

After entering the lift, I suddenly sense that the nervousness for the show in my heart is already replaced by a honey-tasted unknown feeling.

After finishing the show, I have thought of whether I will meet Subaru again. However, when I get down to the lobby, the staff says that they haven't finished their works. Yes, they are famous idols. They must have more works than me, who is just a normal and common idol. I don't wait for them. I choose to leave first. 

Subaru P.O.V.

It is tiring... However, when I think of the smile of that girl, I cannot help but chuckle lightly. The stress and exhausted feeling seem to be removed. " Subaru kun, why are you chuckling? " Nozomu walks to my side and asks. I blush a little bit, and reply, " No reason. " Suddenly, Asahi jumps on me and whispers something into my ear, " Are you thinking of Yume chan? " I flush into bright red within a second and shake my head nervously. " Of course not! Why will you think of this? " I shout to deny. " Hehe... Are you sure that you are not lying? Your face is in crimson red... " Asahi smirks teasingly. " Our boy is finally grown up... " Kanata also joins our conservation. " What? " I scream with an unbelievable expression.

I-I like her...?  That will not happen...Right?

" Hey! That's Yume chan, right? " Nozomu suddenly speaks out and points to a girl with blonde and pink hair who is walking to outside. I follow his finger and look at that girl. She is really Yume... She is going to leave. " Don't you chase her? " He asks with a teasing smirk. I can feel that my cheek is heated up again. Suddenly, someone pushes me forward from behind. I turn around and see Asahi and Kanata smiling at me. They are calling me to go to find Yume. These guys...

I run off after waving and saying goodbye to them. I am going to find  her...

Yume P.O.V.

When I am walking along the avenue and having a haul to my school, I am suddenly pulled by a strange man into a dark alley nearby. He compels me to walk inwards by a small knife.

He is wearing a cap which is in grey color, a white mask and a pair of black sunglasses. He tries to hide his identity. He looks common by wearing black tracksuit. I remember him. He is the man who followed me to school before.

" Who are you...? Why do you pull me here? And why did you tail me before? " I try to calm down my fears and ask in a shaking voice.

" You really cannot recognize me? Nijino Yume? " The man says when removing his mask and cap. When I see his face, that familiar face, I gasp with cold air and I can't help but shiver in fears. I slowly mutter out, " B-boss...? " He slowly approaches her when saying, " Do you receive my parcel? I have told you, I will not let you alive in this world. You must die. I don't know why you did not die at that time. But I will make sure to slay you in this moment. " I hear it and I slowly move backwards in small steps. Unfortunately, I trip on something and fall on the ground accidentally. He seems to find out a nice opportunity and he pulls out a long falchion from his jacket. The blade is reflecting the scared face of me into my own eyes. 

I don't want to die...

If I have never met Subaru and the other friends, I may not be so afraid of death since nothing is worth for me to memorize in this world. 

However, I meet them. They make my life become colorful and full of hope and joy. I become to love my life.I want to stay with these good kind of people...

So... I don't want to die so soon...

What I can do now, is to escape. I don't know whether I can do it, but I believe in miracle. You may think that I am an idiot. But why do I have this kind of thought? It is because I have encountered a lot of miracle in my recent life. When I first met Subaru, I believed that the miracle has occurred on me. Then, the miracle has continued to happen on me since I have met more friends since then. Besides, I have found my first dream, which is to be a great idol.

The falchion in his hand is wielding in front of me and trying to thrust into my chest and my heart. I roll to the side when he does so. I hear that he hisses in a low voice and swears with a angry face, " Goddammit! " I climb up against the brick wall and clutch a bamboo rod from the side. Then, I wield it to him defiantly. I have hit him on the back of his neck. He snarls and jumps up a bit. I use this chance to hit his joints of legs. This makes him kneel down in pain. However, I have overrated the damage he received. When I try to run out the alley, he climbs up and clutches the ruff of my shirt. He uses it to lift me up to the air. He is strong enough to do so. When hanging in the air, I can feel that less air is entered my lung. I cannot breathe in this situation. I try to shriek for help but I cannot use my voice. I see that the blade in his hand is going to cut through my body. 

This time, I will really die...?

Without my expectation, he suddenly drops the blade onto the ground when holding his head in pain. I am also being thrown on the ground. When I look up, I can only see Subaru use a rod to hit hard on his head, making it bleed. " Goddamned! " He swears again when screaming in pain. 

" Yume chan, are you okay? Let's escape now! " Subaru says when clutching my hand and runs away. I hold his hand tightly when nodding with a hopeful smile. Miracle did happen. In this moment, I can truly believe that, Subaru is the one who bring miracles to me. I feel that I am smiling from my true heart when looking at the back of Subaru. Isn't it my illustration? I see that he is shining in my eyes... Every movements and expressions of him become so charming to me...

When I am snap back to my mind, I discover that boss is approaching to us. I am sure that Subaru has noticed that, so he quickens his pace. However, that's not fast enough. Boss pulls out his hand, which is still holding the blade, and wields to the arm of Subaru. I suddenly see that his arm is stained with a row of blood...

We escape finally and get back to the M4 dorm at once. I find out the first aid box at once and help him to treat the wound. We sit on the sofa. He removes his upper shirt and exposes his injured arm to me. I accidentally take a look on his body. I cannot help but blush slightly. I see that he blushes too in my corner of eyes. I quickly recover and concentrate on his wound. The wound is so deep. Even I use sterilized absorbent cotton to absorb the blood, it still continues to flow out from the wound. When I put some sterilized alcohol on the wound, I can notice that he is trembling in pain. However, he just veils it. He just wants to make him cool? Or he does not want me to worry him? I really don't know... Finally, I place some ointment on the wound and wrap it with sterilized absorbent gauze, then fix it. " Thank you... " He mutters in a low voice. Since he cannot dress up with his injured arm, I help him to put on his shirt again.

When seeing him injure because of me, I cannot control myself and tears are rolling down my cheek. I am weeping in front of him. Even my visions are blurred due to tears, I can see him get nervous and fumble for tissue papers. He sits closer to me and wipes away my tears by them. " Yume chan... Stop crying please... I am fine. No need to worry me. You see, I can move my arm... " He bends his injured arm in front of me, but soon he shivers from the pain sensation of the wound. " Don't do that! I don't want it bleed again... " I say between my sob. " So can you stop crying? I love your smile more. " He says with a soothing smile, which makes my heart flutter and my cheek blush. " How can I smile now?  You hurt like this because of me! How can I not sad? The wound is so deep. You will have scar soon... " I cry loudly. He approaches even closer to me and hugs me into his chest. My tears drop into his shirt, which is stained with bright red blood. " I am so glad that you are worrying me... Hehe... But I am really fine. Even I have scar, I can remove it by some special cream, so don't worry me. Besides, this is not your fault. You are also a victim. The most important thing for me is, you do not get hurt. It is more painful for me if you get hurt instead of me, you know? " He whispers into my ears with a gentle voice and endearing smile. In his cuddle, I feel nothing except a sweet and calming feeling. After a few minutes, I find that tears are already stopped rolling down from the eyes. Subaru also notices that, and he starts asking me questions, " Is he your adopted father? " I nod when still laying my head on his shoulder. He feels it and asks, " Do you know that he is going to kill you again? " My heart drops when hearing that. I cannot hide it anymore. I tell him the incident of threatening parcel and that of tailing her at night. " Why don't you tell me these? You should discuss with me so that we can solve these together. " He blames me in a soft voice. " I don't want you to worry. And I don't want to see you get hurt again because of me. So... can you stay away from me? " I murmur and I feel that tear is bursting out again. Suddenly, he tightens the hug. " I will not. I will never leave you alone. I have promised to protect you forever. " He murmurs. I can feel heat radiate from his cheek. When I hear the word " Forever ", I cannot help to have a relieved smile on my face. 

He slowly pulls me away from him. His eyes are still staring into my wet eyes. I observe his ocean-liked eyes carefully and find out something unknown inside them. It is sparkling inside them. By staring into his beautiful eyes, I feel that my heart is fluttering in my chest. Suddenly, he leans in to me. When I am still staring at him in confused, his eyes are already closed slowly. His hands are still gripping both side of my shoulder when pulling me closer to him. When his face comes closer to mine, I feel his warm breath tickle my red nose and my eyelashes. It is the first time for me to observe his face in this close distance... Wait! Is he going to ... When I finally figure out what is he going to do next, he already adjusts his head in a suitable angle and connects his lips with mine. At first, he just brushes it slightly on my lips softly. But soon, he embraces me tighter and deepens the kiss. I slowly close my eyes because of embarrassment. I can feel that my cheek and ears are stained in crimson red color when he tilts his head to the left slightly. In this moment, I can just feel the sweetness on my lips and in my heart. I find that I am willing to follow my heart to do what I actually want. I slowly meet his expectation and match his movements. Soon, we both melt into the kiss...
