Third Person's P.O.V.

With the help of the Police, Yume's stepfather was killed by bullets. Yume and Ako were rescued. They were sent outside the factory to meet Subaru and Kanata, who are extremely worried about them.

"Yume!" "Ako!" Subaru and Kanata call out when the certain girls in their hearts appear in front of them.

"Subaru!" "Kanata!" Yume and Ako burst into tears of joy. They run to their partners at once. Soon, Yume cries in Subaru's embrace when Ako holds Kanata's body as tight as she can and hides her face in Kanata's chest silently.

Ako's P.O.V.

I don't know why... why would my heart swell with happiness when I saw Kanata? Why would I rush to hug him unconsciously? Why would I hug him so tightly, being afraid that I would never meet him again? I hate him, right?

Being embraced by his body warmth, I start recalling my memories...

Before the kidnapping incident, I was so depressed and upset after finding out that my beloved Subaru shared mutual love with my best friend Yume. I even lost myself after watching them kissing under starry sky. My heart seemed to be the ocean in a stormy weather. No sunshine. No peace. The waves ruthlessly destroyed my remaining hope and brought my energy away. However, when I was in this kind of helpless stage, a warm hand catches my hand. The warmth transmitted from his hand rippled through my body and calmed part of my heart down. Then, the hand pulled me away. I unconsciously followed him. At that moment, I did not have any mood to analyse my heart deeply. Yet, when I thought deeply, I could not disclaim that if the hand was not from Kanata, I would not follow him and leave. Does this mean... I trust him? In addition, I could not deny that the warmth from his hand made me feel warm as well...

When I was being tortured by that man, sorrow and fury occupied my heart. I wanted someone to save me. However, the first image of person who jumped into my mind unexpectedly was Kanata instead of Subaru... Frankly speaking, I was quite surprised at that time. However, I was just surprised, but not shocked. Why...? When my body was being touched every time, the illusion of Kanata's face would faintly appear in my sight. Tears then helplessly flowed down my cheek... Right... I forgot something... At that time, there was a strange thought in my mind...

"I wish the one who will combine into one with me is ... Kanata..."

I squeeze Kanata's shirt tightly in my fists when remembering that line. No... That's not true... I hate him, right?

"Subaru kyun~~" I hid behind a pillar to watch Subaru drinking water in front of a drinking fountain. Water overflowed from his mouth and dropped onto his white shirt. He was just so handsome~~ I could not resist his charm and melted from inside. "Ahh~~ Subaru kyun~~" "Oh, kitty. Daydreaming again?" A green-haired boy spoke up behind me with a teasing smile. That night... At that night, he asked me to face the reality and give up on Subaru. After he left, I cried a lot and slept on the ground at last. However, on the next morning, I discovered myself in my room on my bed... Later, I knew that he walked back and brought me back to my room... Maybe he was worried about my situation, so he walked back to check on me...

Maybe he is a considerate person...

After I confessed to Subaru, he rejected me at once. I cried painfully in my heart, but I forced to smile outside and asked him to confess to Yume. After that, he apologized and ran away to Yume's place. I immediately collapsed once he left my sight. Fortunately, Kanata caught me and pulled me into his embrace. "Just cry everything out... Kitty..." He whispered into my ear. His warm breath tickled my ear and soothed my heart...

Why...? Why would I have this kind of feelings around him? I never felt it when I was with Subaru...

There is only an answer left... That is... I have fallen in love with him...

My eyes widen when my face is still buried in Kanata's chest. I look up slightly and stare at Kanata, who close his eyes and hug me tightly. There is a peaceful smile on his cool face. When gazing at his face, I cannot help but blush. My heart starts getting out of control and beats like a wild horse. From my reaction, I can ensure that my guess is correct...

Yes! I am no longer love Subaru. The one I loved is Kanata actually.

A gentle smile soon spreads on my face. I took so long to realize this.

"Time up for your hug." Kanata releases me from the embrace. We both turn to the direction of the police officer. We watch them going near Yume and Subaru, who just separate from their embrace.

My eyes widen when I hear what he say.

"Nijino Yume san, we will arrest you now as you are suspected you violate the Theft Ordinance. You need not say anything but if you do, it will be recorded and used as evidence against you in the future."

Soon, she is taken away in handcuffs...

Surprise! When Yume has just escaped from her evil stepfather's control, she had to face another problem which is justice... Poor Yume (;_;)...
