Aadhi looked at Sakthi sleeping peacefully next to him after a night filled with family, food and a whole lot of fun. For the very first time, he witnessed a side of her that was carefree and candid. Seeing her sing and dance her heart out with no inhibitions was a such a rare sight that no one had the heart to call it a day until she was completely exhausted. She was so drained that he had to carry her from the car bridal style to their room.

Was this what Sathya had meant by his birthday wish? To get his old sister back? Aadhi was yearning to know more about what she used to be before the nightmare happened.

Last night was everything Sathya had longed and waited for years. It was clearly an emotional moment for him who had been with her when she was at her lowest and for Vijay who had read every painful excruciating memory of hers.

One could only imagine how cruel it is to feel helpless when you can do nothing but watch your loved ones go through something brutal and heart breaking.

Aadhi caressed her angelic face and her lips curved into an unconscious smile sensing his touch. His hands moved across her face down to her neck which still had the marks he left. He bent down to place a wet kiss to which she responded with a subtle moan before pulling him further down to place a kiss on his lips.

"Good Morning de azhagu chellama", he whispered in his morning raspy tone.

"Enaku inum thoonganum", she complained without opening her eyes.

"Nee thoongu. Enaku pasikudhu", he said trying to get out of bed, but she gripped his vest tight not letting him move and started to hum

"Engeyum pogaamal dhinam veetileye nee vendum...

Sila samayam vilayaatai un adaikulla nan vendum..."

How can he control his desires when the love of his life is lying next to him singing these lines? He was human after all.

He snuck back into the blanket and began to cuddle his soon to be wife.

An hour later, she got out of bed with more marks that she needed to conceal than before. But, she wasn't complaining owing to the fact that she had left enough marks for him to hide as well.

She smirked at the thought before getting ready for a hectic day.

Sakthi was busy getting the outfits done for the entire family. It was no joke to design and style the entire family to match a theme in two days. Having worked on a movie now, she was used to high pressure deadlines, but this was too ambitious even for her.

Luckily, she had worked with Shravya for over a year now and they made a great team. They spent the first few hours finishing trials for the family so that they can then just foucs on Aadhi's and hers.

Aadhi in the meantime had talked to Sathya about the scare that happened with Vijay and shared his suspicions as well.

Sathya and Vijay decided to spend the day gathering information about what Sakthi's band mates knew and if they suspected anyone in particular. As, Vishnu had mentioned that Sakthi was not aware of the complete story, they decided to talk to him first.

It was late evening by the time her outfit was ready for trial.

Shravya: Try this on

Sakthi: I don't want it to be too sexy. The back almost has nothing, and the front is too revealing.

Shravya: It's just the right mix of elegance and sexy. You will have a dupatta draped over it anyway. Trust me you will look like a model out of vogue.

Sakthi: There is a Pooja right after.

Shravya: I already put together a saree and blouse for that. It's your engagement. Being a little sexy to tempt Aadhi is a good thing.

She winked making Sakthi blush profusely. She gulped at the thought of tempting Aadhi.

Sakthi: I will try. But, if I think it's too much, we are changing.

Shravya: Deal. Just try it on.

Sakthi went on to try the lehenga. It was stitched to perfection and as Shravya said, it definitely did not look too revealing.

She walked out of trial area and was surprised to see Aadhi there.

He stood there transfixed looking at his angel. He could not take his eyes off of her. Everything around them vanished and all that he could see was her.

Shravya read the room and walked out, giving the couple some privacy. Sound of the door being shut behind them broke his trance and he closed the gap in a heartbeat.

A shy smile crept on her flushed face as he placed his hands on her bare waist to pull her closer.

"Epdi iruku?", she managed to form a meaningful question after standing still with his hot breath of her for a couple of minutes.

"Kekaadha. My mind is corrupted right now. Edachu soliduven", he confessed.

Though they have been living with each other, he always tried to keep his distance. But the last few days have been a real test to his self-control. He was experiencing a variety of unexplored emotions which were tormenting him.

Seeing her in such a sexy lehenga was not helping. His desires were running wild to a point where he could not trust himself anymore. Her swollen lips and the marks all over her body were standing proof of how much he craved for her.

"Inum two months dan", she tried to ease his longing that was evident in his eyes.

"Two months feels like eternity", he protested.

She hugged him tight and he buried his face inside the crook of her neck inhaling her fragrance as his hands explored her almost bare back.

"Aa..dhi..",she moaned to his touch which made her shiver with pleasure.

He felt her body growing more sensitive to his touch by the second.

"You look like a Goddess in this", he mumbled before pulling out of the hug.

Couple of hours later, the trials for both Aadhi and Sakthi were complete. Sakthi was beyond pleased with the final look and could not be more excited for their engagement which was now less than 16 hours away.

She walked down to the living area with Aadhi and was stunned by the décor. The event management company had taken inspiration from Narain and Devika's temple wedding theme and the setup was nothing short of heavenly.

There are days in life where everything feels so perfect that you want to freeze time and enjoy the moment a little while longer. It was one such for the two families.

Just when they were having their funny banters, Aadhi's phone started to buzz and it was from Vijay. He sneaked away and picked up the call. 

Sakthi saw him moving across the living room to talk but assumed it was the caterer.

Aadhi: Yes Vijay... tell me

After a couple of minutes, she saw his face turn furious which made her worried.

Aadhi: What the hell do you mean by that?

She started to walk towards Aadhi to find out what was wrong. Aadhi saw her walking towards him and he did not want to keep her in the dark any longer.

Aadhi: Ok.. We will be there very soon. Keep me posted.

He cut the call and turned to see Sakthi who was now standing next to him.

Sakthi: Enna aachu? I know something is wrong. Don't try to hide it from me.

Aadhi: Kavya met with an accident. She is in ICU. We have to go.

Sakthi: What happened all of a sudden? Also why are you in shock if she met with an accident?

Aadhi: Her phone has a voice note that was delivered minutes before the accident.

Sakthi: So?

Aadhi played the voice note Vijay sent him.

"I gave you a chance to make yourself useful to me. All you had to do was play the video. You would have gotten Aadhi and I would have gotten Sakthi. But you didn't. You made a mistake and now you have to suffer."

The voice that she will never forget whole life. The one on the video that ruined her life. Her heart started to palpitate and a strange pain filled her. Was it happening all over again?
