There's A Future
~4 months later~
Taylor's POV
"Okay you guys wait here and I'll be back with her in a moment" a nurse informed us. It's been roughly five months now and Sarah had finally gained enough weight for us to be able to hold her
After that alarm, and it certainly wasn't the last, I was better at handling things. Hayley helped me out a lot, she barley left my side
Watching Sarah grow and progress made me glad that I didn't leave or that we didn't give her up for adoption. Hayley was right, she really has become the light of my life
The nurse returned with a small pink bundle and handed her to Hayley, who was sitting on a hospital bed
When the nurse left I walked next to Hayley and we both stared down at our daughter, yes, she looks exactly like Hayley
Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled at Hayley and I. Hayley let out an "awww" and gently snuggled Sarah against her neck
"I've been waiting so long for this" Hayley said still cuddling our daughter "oh, she's like a little teddybear" she continued. "Sarah-Bear" Hayley whispered
I smiled and leaned down, gently kissing the back of Sarah's head. Something caught my attention "Hayles" I chuckled
Hayley looked up at me and I pointed to the single orange curl on the back of Sarah's head. Hayley smiled twisting her finger around it
"We created little orphan Annie" I exaggerated. Hayley rolled her eyes and kissed Sarah's forehead. "She's absolutely perfect" Hayley said

~2 years later~
"Okay Bear which one is this" Hayley asked our daughter, holding up a flashcard with the letter H on it. "H" Sarah called out
Hayley continued to pull flashcards and Sarah kept getting them all correct. Hayley congratulated Sarah and dragged me into the kitchen
I was still amazed from Sarah's performance so I could barley speak. "See I told you, I don't know how she does it. She's a freakin' genius!" Hayley exclaimed
I nodded. When Hayley had first started working with Sarah it was just as extra practice when we took her on tour so she'd be ready for school in a couple years. But Hayley kept telling me that she was learning so fast and she was so advanced but I didn't believe her, until now
"Well do you think we should put her in school?" I asked. Hayley shook her head. "No we should test her some more" Hayley declared
I nodded and we walked back into the living room. Sarah was playing with her spelling blocks on the floor. We couldn't believe what she spelled
Sarah Sunday Williams.
We looked astonished at each other and sat down next to our daughter. "Sweetheart do you know what that is" I asked, Sarah nodded. "My name daddy" she said
"Can you read it" Hayley asked cautiously. Sarah nodded once more "Sawah, das my firs name" Sarah said pointing to the first set of blocks
"Sunday, my muddel name" she continued pointing to the second set of blocks. Finally she pointed to the last set and said "wil-y-ums, and it's, it's my las name"
Despite her pronunciation errors she had spelled everything correctly. "She just read" Hayley whispered in amazement
"Sarah sweetie can you spell any other words" I asked. Sarah nodded and started to furiously rearrange the blocks. Hayley took the second tub of blocks and dumped them on the floor for her
She spelled out :
Cat
Dog
Cow
How
What
Who
Numbers
And love
But I'm sure that wasn't the end of the list. Hayley smirked "sweetie can you spell our band name" Sarah nodded and began to rearrange again
"And what does that say" I asked. Sarah seemed to think hard before she said "par-a-more" pointing to each syllable as she said it
"Very good!" Hayley smiled. Sarah shook her head and began to move the blocks. "It can be spelt dis way too mommy" Sarah said after she had spelled out, paramour
Hayley nodded and looked at me. At that moment I knew we were thinking the same thing. "Miracle?" I questioned, Hayley chuckled "miracle" she responded quietly
