(TW/CW: Mentions of Vomiting)

Minho's POV

Chan and I arrived at the head alpha office, only to see Changbin sitting on one of the couches in the office, looking more stressed than bored.

"So I called Hongjoong, I asked him more about the rumors and he said that he'd heard them from one of the pack alpha's that visited his pack, the pack visited Han's previous pack the day after Han had been attacked and Han's previous alpha and some of the pack members were going on about a stupid omega they didn't have the chance to get rid of, that they weren't done dealing with him, with Han."

Changbin's words made me freeze up, both in fear and in anger.

"Did you get the name of the other pack that told him all of this ?"

Chan asked, his face held a serious look, making me shiver slightly.

Changbin nodded rushing over to the notepad that was next to the phone on Chan's desk.

"He said it was the Lost Dreams Pack."

"Call up Soobin, the pack alpha."

I lightly demanded Changbin.

"Alright."

Changbin keyed the numbers in and called, and we waited for Soobin to answer as Changbin put the phone on speaker.

"Hello ? This is Soobin from the Lost Dreams Pack speaking."

Soobin's voice rang through the room and Chan answered.

"Hey, so this is Chan of the Lost Moon Pack, we were calling to ask you about a rumor we heard from Hongjoong, he said it originated from your pack, when you visited the Treasure Compass Pack, so I wanted to ask about it."

Soobin's voice grew serious as he responded.

"Well damn, that got around quick. But I'm glad it reached you, I heard you took in that omega, and I just wanted to say thank you."

Our faces all grew from concerned to confused.

"Thank you ?"

Soobin let out a light chuckle before responding.

"Yes, thank you. Because one of our omega's was really close to him... he nearly cried when he heard the news about him being with a different pack."

The realization that reached our faces practically had us scrambling to grab the phone.

"Would that omega's name happen to be Jeongin ?"

The alpha responded.

"Yeah... we would visit the crimson skull pack constantly, but once we heard all they'd done to omega's we stopped visiting, the last time we visited we had a few omega's come along with us, pretending that some of the others from my pack had been mates with them... but we couldn't find the one Jeongin was close to, we found out he had been banished and run out of the pack... but they said they had unfinished business, and so I spread the word to allied packs in hopes of finding him... to know that he's in the best pack in council history is relieving."

Chan's POV

I smiled at his words as I leaned closer to the phone.

"Well, then thank you for taking care of him all these years the best that you could, Hongjoong is sending out some of his warriors, so that'll take up some security, but I'm not to sure that'll be enough, we're doing the best we can, the pack marking ceremony is coming up."

Soobin hummed, seeming to be in thought before he said something.

"I can send out some of my warriors too, I'll probably have to send them out tomorrow, as it is getting late."

I gave a conforming hum as I responded.

"So, about that omega, Jeongin, I've been wondering if you'd allow him to come this way with the pack warriors so he can see Han."

Soobin stood quiet over the line.

"Ah, so his name is Han, I was trying to think of it, I had only heard it a few times from Jeongin but I'd forgotten over time, though... the crimson skull pack never said his name, they would call him mutt or runt or every name against council law."

Minho's face grew furious from where he sat and I could feel my wolf grow angry as well.

"I'll tell Jeongin to pack some of his stuff to take with him, I'm sure he'd be happy to stay there for a few days."

I smiled happily at his words.

"So, he'll be here tomorrow along with the warriors, I'll be sure to greet them all along with Hongjoong's warriors, so I guess I'll see you at the council meeting, it was nice speaking to you."

Soobin responded with a light laugh.

"It was nice speaking to you too, hyung, see you then."

We hung up and I looked at Changbin and Minho.

"We might need to make the marking ceremony sooner than later, we might need to do it before the council meeting instead of after."

They nodded, Minho standing up quickly.

"Alright, so Minho I'm gonna need you and Changbin to step out of the office before I call Han up about this."

Minho snapped after I said that.

"Why do you guys keep telling me to leave anytime Han is around, am I causing him problems ?"

I didn't know how to tell him, I didn't know if I should be straight forward or if I should lie to his face, but what kind of friend would I be if I wasn't honest ?

A bad one.

So...

"You are, but not feelings of distress, besides, he trusts you just as much as he trusts, Felix, Hyunjin and Seungmin, maybe more."

I told him honestly, and once I did his face fell, a frown shown on his features as he sighed, tears welling up in his eyes.

"I... you know what ? I'm...shit, I... I'll go to my room. I need time to think."

He walked off with tears running down his cheeks.

"Hyung, did we mess up ?"

Changbin asked, looking just about as sad as I felt as we watched Minho leave down the corridor/hallway.

"With being honest...? Maybe. But I don't think so, because at least we told the truth like good friends should."

Changbin nodded with a defeated sigh.

"We can go check on him once we get done planning everything, he needs time to think and we'll give it to him, along with all the space he needs."

Changbin nodded, a small smile coming to his face as he agreed.

"We aren't good at planning things, but Felix is, and with what just happened I'm not sure if I should call him up."

Changbin sighed, looking down in thought before looking up again.

"Just call him up, I'll tell Seungmin what happened."

I nodded calling Felix's phone.

Felix's POV

I was sat on Han's hospital bed when my phone rang, just as I started running my hands through Han's hair.

"Oh, I need to take this, i-is it okay if I answer it here ?"

Han, Hyunjin and Seungmin nodded, not minding.

I answered the phone, Chan's voice filling my ears.

"Baby, hey, can you and Han come up here to the head Alpha's office, just don't go past Minho's room, we just told him he can't be around Han... he's probably not even at his room yet, so if you can smell his scent before he smells yours or Han's scent, turn around."

A small 'oh' slipped past my lips as I took in his words.

"Do you need me to come up right now, with him ?"

Chan gave a conforming hum and that was all it took for me to stand from Han's hospital bed.

"I'll be there in a minute, I've gotta talk to the others about this, see you later, love you."

Chan responded with a small 'I love you' and hung up.

The others looked at me expectantly, but Seungmin's face held a more knowing look.

"Han, Chan hyung needs you down at the head office, Seungmin do you think he's well enough to walk ?"

Seungmin set his clipboard down on the end of Han's bed, near the bottom of Han's feet.

"Well, I guess we'll find out together, what do you say Han, wanna try standing for us ?"

Han looked genuinely confused, but it seemed that the confusion made him motivated, he pushed himself up into a sitting position, then carefully moved to the edge of the bed, sat up carefully with the help of a still worried Hyunjin hyung.

Hyunjin helped him stand, holding the middle of his back carefully, along with one of Han's hands.

Han was slightly shaky on his feet but he slowly got the hang of it.

It's safe to say that Hyunjin and Seungmin would also be following us to the head Alpha's office.

Seungmin's POV

Seeing Han struggle to walk had me slightly worried, him passing out must've made his body unstable.

"As pack doctor I can't leave my patient behind, Chan has to understand that."

Felix nodded at my words before responding.

"He'll have to understand, He'll have to, as the pack alpha and as my friend, he'll have to understand."

After that we all walked to the head Alpha's office, avoiding Minho's room, as Chan ordered, Felix only telling us this as he reached the hallway near Minho's room.

But, regardless of that, we made it to the head Alpha's office with no run-ins with Minho.

"What are you guys doing here, I clearly said Felix and Han ?"

The sigh Chan hyung let out after his question made everyone tense up.

Changbin looked over at me with understanding, clearly taking in Han's condition better than Chan hyung had.

I cleared my throat and walked up to block everyone behind me.

I felt the others stares on me, and I took a deep breath in.

"Chan, you do know that I'm paying attention to my patients condition, right ? It's my job as the pack doctor to watch over each and everyone one of my patients, I do weekly check ups on everyone and take care of everyone, Han is my first real patient with an emergency and a condition that's unheard of, I'm sure you weren't aware of that, so as the pack doctor, as your friend, and on my honor of being a doctor, I need to be here."

Chan's face held shock, Changbin's did as well, there was a look in his eyes that gave me the feeling he was only proud of me, I heard the shocked breaths of the others behind me and I stood proudly of it all regardless, looking Chan straight in the eyes, not backing down.

"Uh... I-I...I'm sorry, please forgive my ignorance, a-and please continue doing your job, and thank you for making it clear to me and informing me on Han's condition, as he is a new pack member, and sorry to you as well, Han."

Chan apologized after the look of shock left his face, an apologetic look reaching his eyes.

"As you know, I gathered Han and Felix here for something rather important."

The mood in the room shifted slightly.

"Since Felix and Hyunjin are both here, I've got things for you to plan, I would also like you to speak to the packs head chef for me."

Felix's POV

I had an idea of what the plans were for, but I hadn't the slightest clue what any of this had to do with Han.

I was stood by Hyunjin as he held Han and he looked just as confused as me.

Han looked at me from where he stood, leaning back into Hyunjin, clearly for comfort, and I only gave him a perplexed look of my own.

"But, regardless of that, we've got some news for Han."

The mood shifted once again and everyone in the room was tense, including Han and he squeezed his eyes shut as he started to tremble slightly.

"We've got some news for you, we've found your Jeongin."

Han's eyes snapped open and he nearly flew out of Hyunjin's arms as he stood up properly, taking in Chan hyung's words.

"Y-You found him ?"

He stuttered over his words as his eyes lit up and filled with tears soon after, he cupped his hands over his mouth as sobs tumbled out and he soon ended up the floor in tears, Hyunjin following soon after to pull him into a hug.

"Th-This all has been to much for me...a-and I-I-I...I feel I-I don't d-deserve this, I...I just- I-I... p-please, please I don't deserve this I-I...I- you...you guys ha-have j-just been so nice to me, a-and h-have done so much for me a...and I-I just d-don't deserve this kindness, a-and I-I d-don't b-belong here..."

He had hiccups starting up, and he was sobbing and stuttering through his words as he hid in Hyunjin's arms.

"I-I...I w-want...I-I want M-Minho..."

Han's words were practically just short gasps of air as he pulled away from Hyunjin to breathe, before curling back into Hyunjin with a small whine.

Seungmin crouched down to Han's level on the floor with a concerned look.

"Are you sure honey ?"

The question made Han squirm in his position on the floor, and he looked up, through puffy and glassy eyes, nodding his head.

"Please."

Chan then crouched down beside Han, shocking everyone.

"Han, I need you to look at me."

Han looked up at Chan quickly, fear in his eyes.

"I-I won't hurt you, I just wanted to make you aware of the fact that Minho may not want to come up to my office if I ask him to, not because of you, but because of something I said... so I just want you to be aware of that if I call him now and he says no."

Han's face broke out in a frown, but he nodded nonetheless.

"Okay ?, alright, so I'll call him up and see whether he says yes or no, but Seungmin and Changbin will have to stay with you at all times due to your condition."

Han nodded once again, and Chan stood up properly with a small smile and a short sigh as he walked over to the phone to call Minho.

(This chapter was a bit of a cliffhanger, and a little angsty, but that just means they'll be more, cause we all love a little angst.)
