(TW/CW: Mentions of Abuse, Vomiting, and Food.)

Han's POV

As I stood beside Hyunjin, Seungmin and Minho near the table we would be sitting at, all I got were stares pointed my way.

I looked down towards the floor every now and then to avoid all of their stares.

Chan walked into the dining hall, looking at all of the pack members that were looking at me, an angry look crossing his face.

"A new pack member is nothing new, now stop gawking."

Everyone instantly stopped looking at me, and I shivered.

Chan had this kind of power ? It was honestly pretty cool.

"If I hear about any of you mistreating him, you'll regret it."

Chan said after a few seconds of silence, everyone responding with a,

'Yes alpha'

Before turning away from me completely.

The pack members with their chairs facing me only looking down as they ate.

"I hope you enjoy the food, Me and Minho cooked it with the head chefs in the kitchen."

Felix came up to me excitedly, leading me to the chair I would be sitting in, one right next to Minho.

Chan was at the head of the table, Felix and Hyunjin sat on either side of him on his left and right, Minho and I on Hyunjin's left and Seungmin and Changbin on Felix's right.

"It was never like this in my old pack."

I whispered out, gaining the attention of the others at the table.

"You know, besides me only getting leftovers, the pack was never this organized, it was always unruly."

I explained lightly, Chan frowning at me.

"Your old head alpha didn't know how to run a pack, before him his dad always had everything in order, always treating everyone equally and having things just as good as I have here, but he stepped down after his Luna started getting sick."

He told me, or more like he told everyone at our table.

"But, she's all good now, I only know that because I still keep in contact with him, he's heard all his son has done and as soon as his son finds his mate, he's going to step back up as head alpha."

Everyone gave light hums in response.

"His sons been having lots of packs over lately, a lot of the omega's from the pack leave with the ones visiting, his world will be turned upside down when his mate is an omega, and if it's an alpha or beta that he's mated with I hope they change his ways, he's the worse alpha in ranks right now."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Let's eat before the food gets cold."

After that we all dug in, and as it was my first time eating the macaroni and not just the sprinkled cheese I practically lit up at the taste in my mouth

"It's so good!"

I exclaimed excitedly, getting light laughs from the others.

As lunch went on there was only bits of small talk here and there, it was so much different from my previous pack.

"Is it wrong to say I'm glad they ran me out of my pack and into the direction of yours ?"

Hyunjin instantly stood from his seat, catching the attention of the pack, coming over to my seat, he was frowning, tears coming to his eyes.

"I wish you were here first."

He pulled me into a hug soon after.

"In a week, we will have the pack crest marking ceremony, so you'll be apart of this pack from that point forward."

Chan told me, shocking me. I stuffed my head into Hyunjin's neck as I started crying.

"Your family now, we'll keep you close."

Hyunjin whispered, like a promise he meant to keep.

I held him tighter, only pulling away from him when Chan tapped on my shoulder.

"We've got your back, yeah ? Don't worry about anything, I'll always be here for you."

I nodded, feeling him run his hands run through my hair carefully.

"Let's finish lunch and we'll speak more on this."

I nodded wiping my tears, Hyunjin swaped seats with Minho soon after that, a warm smile of reassurance falling onto both of their lips as they switched.

Once lunch was dismissed and the pack had dispersed we went to the head alpha, Chan's office.

"Felix, Han needs some help with his pheromones, his pack make him block out his scent for so long that he's forgotten how to release them."

Minho informed firmly, shocking everyone in the room, especially Chan and Changbin.

"Yeah I-I'll do that."

Felix nodded, Hyunjin petting his head gently.

"Is there anything else they didn't let you do ?"

I looked down at my feet, pondering.

"Ah, um, they uh...they never let me get any new clothes, said I didn't need them, the clothes I had on when I got here are torn to bits, I threw them away."

Chan sighed, leaning onto his desk with his head in his hands.

"Han, I'm going to need you to grab those clothes, I'm going to report this to the council."

My eyes widened at his words.

Seungmin stood up with quick nod of agreement.

"Couldn't agree more, I can give them a record of your vitals, plus you would get questioned on everything so you would definitely be able to tell them more. But we'll only do this if you want us to, omega's like you that were or are under that pack deserve to be heard and treated better."

Chan nodded in agreement.

"I can even call up some of the other alpha's from neighboring allies and ask them if omega's from your previous pack would be willing to speak up apon their experiences, plus I'm really close with some of the council members so it's all good on an agreement for sure."

My breath got caught in my throat as they made plans.

"C-Can I have some time to think it over, it's a good idea but it's so sudden, I need time to think about it."

Everyone nodded, Minho reassured me with a smile as he came to stand in front of me.

"Of course we'll wait for you, take all the time you need, it'd be best to tell us your decision after you've gotten the pack crest."

I nodded at his words, still feeling my stomach rolling as it bubbled with anxiety.

"Though the council is full of other supernatural species, I have found that they are actually allies."

Chan informed kindly, making me let out a breath of relief.

"Though, the vampires are so intense sometimes they seem suspicious, they have good intentions, usually."

Minho followed, and Changbin nodded in agreement.

I nodded once again wanting to know more but not willing to ask.

"Alpha."

Chan's head snapped towards me and he said, "There's no need to call me that, just call me Chan hyung, no need for formalities, you're family after all."

"Well, okay then...Chan hyung, um, is it really okay for me to be here ? In this pack, I don't want my old pack to do something to you guys for just taking me in."

Chan, Minho and Changbin frowned.

"That won't happen, we won't let it."

Minho spoke up, his brows furrowed in anger.

I looked down, nodding.

"The-Then I think that you guys should start calling the other pack alpha's, the sooner the better, I don't want any of the other up and coming omega's to be treated like I was, so please...and thank you."

I trembled nervously, in my previous pack, if I would think to even ask for anything I would get slapped.

Felix walked up to me, grabbing my hand gently and turning to the head alpha's with a glare.

"Y-You're scaring him."

I let myself curl into him as he pulled me into a hug.

"Oh... sorry. We're really sorry."

Chan said sincerely, his voice just above a whisper as a silence fell over the room.

All 7 of us standing in silence.

"S' s'alright jus' don' hit me..."

I whispered out, knowing everyone heard me, Felix squeeze me tighter and Hyunjin came racing over to pull me into his arms.

"Why would you ever consider that as a thing we would do...?"

Hyunjin asked, filling the silence with soft sobs as he stuffed his face in my neck.

I felt hands lifting my head and soon I was looking at Hyunjin's tear stained face.

"Please...don't ever think we would do that, we're not like your old pack, and we wouldn't ever come to hit you after all you've been through, or at all for that matter."

I nodded through my own tears as they started rolling down.

"I think that we all need some time to think, and plan. Chan, Minho, and Changbin hyung, you guys start calling other packs, I'm gonna be down at the clinic, Felix and Hyunjin, try to help Han to get his pheromones to release."

Seungmin's voice interrupted the somewhat tense feeling in the room and everyone gave nods of agreement.

Hyunjin and Felix took me to the room they shared with Chan hyung, and I was slightly nervous.

"My old pack... they would say my scent stunk and made me block it out, and I've forgotten how to stop scent blocking, so it's hard for me to release my pheromones, but ever sense I started I haven't been able to smell anyone else's pheromones either."

I explained as we all sat together on the floor.

"It's okay! We'll figure it out!"

Felix said lightly, trying to reassure me.

I nodded with a shaky sigh.

"Okay, so first we can try scenting you. It won't do anything to you, it's just to get your wolf inside settled a little."

Felix explained, crawling over to me from where he sat, waving Hyunjin over so he would follow.

Once Felix was at my right and Hyunjin was at my left, they scented me.

I felt tingles on the sides of my neck, my scent glands awakening.

I felt my body untense as my wolf relaxed inside me.

"You should feel really light in your chest right now, and that's a good sign."

I nodded confirming that it was true, my hands trembling with anxiousness.

I felt like speaking as my throat felt weird and my stomach did a nauseating flip.

I gagged lightly as I brought a hand up to my mouth, whimpering.

"G-Guys..."

I couldn't get much out after that, and Felix rushed me over to the bathroom connected to their room just in time for me to throw up into the toilet.

"My...my wolf... is... reacting to your scents... b-but I still can't smell anything, not even myself."

I whispered out as I finished in the toilet, and Hyunjin hummed as he rubbed my stomach, Felix coming over to me so he could wipe my mouth with a wet wash cloth.

"That can happen, your wolf taking in so many scents at once can do that to you, sorry."

I shook my head lightly as he wiped my lips, not being able to say anything.

"Here, drink this."

Felix handed me a cold cup of water with a kind smile.

I took small, and slow sips, my stomach no longer flipping nauseatingly, but I didn't want to risk anything.

"That should be good, how are you feeling ?"

Felix asked, joining Hyunjin in rubbing my back soothingly.

"Good."

I whispered, my throat still burning slightly.

"Clean yourself up a little better and when you're ready we can continue trying to get you to release your pheromones."

Felix handed me a unopened toothbrush with a smile.

"Thank you."

He nodded with a small 'you're welcome', and walked away after telling me to drink the rest of the water he gave me.

Once I finished brushing my teeth I finished the rest of the water slowly, once I went back into their bedroom I noticed they set up a nest.

From what I could tell, it had recently used clothes from the head Alpha's and Seungmin, along with clothes from the two omega's before me.

"We made a nest!"

Hyunjin cheered happily, pulling me towards the nest.

"Bu-But, none of these guys are my alpha's, is this really okay ?"

Felix nodded, joining Hyunjin in pulling me over to the nest.

"It's common for omega's to make a nest with the clothes of those we're closest to."

My eyes widened at Felix's warm words.

"Oh... I wouldn't know, I've never made one..."

Felix and Hyunjin's faces filled with sadness as they lowered me into the nest.

"That's okay, we'll teach you how..."

The freckled man told me kindly.

I could only nod as I sat on the clothes beneath me with a sad smile.

"They say, that omega's feel safest with each other, they say that when they are close and hold each other, scent each other, it can make them release their most soothing pheromones. So, we made a nest, cause those are meant to make you feel safe."

Felix explained, his voice above a whisper as he shuffled over to me and pulled me into a hug, pulling me down so I would lay down with him, and not even a second later, I felt Hyunjin's hands wrapping around my waist from behind me, pulling me back against his chest.

"This...feels so nice."

I whispered, feeling my body melt against their arms and the nest beneath me.

After some time of us cuddling in a comfortable silence I started feeling sleepy, my eyes fluttering open and closed, trying to stay awake.

"Han...Han-ah... your scent."

Hyunjin's voice broke me away from my sleepy state, startling me into action, accidentally elbowing him in the ribs as I rushed to sit up.

Hyunjin let out a gasp as he flinched back in pain and I gasped out an apology as I rushed to check on him.

He let out a short whine as he reassured me that he was okay, and Felix rushed to him.

"I-I'm okay, it hurts still and it was sudden, but it wasn't anything to bad, promise... Lixie, please don't call Chan hyung."

I wrapped my arms around his neck in a hug, feeling terrible.

"I'm alright Han, but your scent..."

I froze pulling away from it and sniffed at my arm for a second.

"Wh-What about it...?"

Felix and Hyunjin shared a look with a smile before looking at me with a smile.

"We can smell it."

It took me a second to register what he said, and it took me another second to snap out of my shock, before blinking rapidly and breathing in... my... my scent.

My scent...

The thought filled my mind and I let out a squeak like whine, a sob following shortly after as I sob into my hands, crying in relief and happiness.

I almost screamed in relief, before gagging... feeling like throwing up once again.

I sobbed slightly as I rushed to the bathroom on my own, throwing up into the toilet bowl, and as I fell back after finishing... there was a chest behind me.

I turned to see who it was, and it was Hyunjin.

He wrapped his arms gently around my waist as he pulled me into his chest.

"You really can't handle scents, huh ?"

He questioned me with a chuckle, rubbing gently at my hips.

I shrugged as I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand, letting my hand drop beside me as I let out slightly exhausted breaths before responding to him.

"I...It's been a while since I've been able to smell anything... everything hitting me at once is a little overwhelming."

I smiled as Felix giggled, walking up to the both of us with another cup of cold water.

"Thanks."

I whispered, taking sips of the water with a smile.

"You're welcome."

He ruffled my hair as he responded, reaching out to pull me onto my feet just as Hyunjin unwrapped his arms from around my waist.

Then Hyunjin stood up from the floor.

"Your scent... it's sweet, just like honey butterscotch. Your old pack didn't know what they were talking about, your scent is wonderful."

Hyunjin explained.

"He's right, you've got one hell of a nice scent Han."

I smiled as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Thank you...thank you for helping me."

They pulled me into a hug with small laughs.

"Of course!"

I returned the hug with a small laugh of my own.

"That was adorable."

Seungmin's voice made us all jump.

He was standing at the door, with a smile on his face, his arms crossed over his chest.

"Seungmin, you scared the crap out of us!"

Hyunjin whined.

"Sorry."

From the laugh that followed the apology, I could clearly tell he didn't mean it.

"We got Han to release his pheromones Minnie!"

Seungmin nodded, walking further into the room with a hum.

"It's smells sweet, like tea mixed with honey."

Hyunjin nodded his head in agreement with a big grin on his face.

"It does! It does!"

Hyunjin's excitement could not be contained.

"Now that his scent is back, we can get back to the other Alpha's."

Seungmin stated, opening up the door behind him.

We all went back to the head Alpha's office.

Felix and Hyunjin holding my hands, standing on each side of me.

Chan was right when he said Hyunjin had practically adopted me, but I think Felix did too.
