Another short chapter

Dan's POV

   I had been looking for her all day. The sun was going down and monsters were spawning. I quickly pulled my sword and started killing them. When there was a break in them, I noticed Jemma. I ran to her. I had just reached her when another spider came in front of me. I knocked it dead. "Jemma. I never meant anything." I said. A zombie showed up and I killed it. Another zombie went after Jemma. She started to fall but I grabbed her. She started to let go of me. I grabbed tighter. "I never should have gotten upset." I said. She kept fighting my grip. I held as tight as I could. "I am not going to lose you. I'm trying to say I'm sorry." I said. Jemma stopped fighting. "It's okay Dan." She said. I got her up. More monsters were coming at us. By the time the sun rose and the monsters died, our fight was over. Let's go home." I said. "Right behind you." Jemma said.

Jemma's POV

Dan and I ran all the way back. When we reached our house, we went inside. We grabbed some stuff and started mining. When we got back, Dan turned to me. "I think we work better as a team." He said. "You know what Dan?" I asked. "I couldn't agree more."

A/N
