Three days later

Dantdm's POV

  Both Jemma and I have really bonded since I saved her. We started helping each other out with getting food and other stuff. Sometimes we go by ourselves and are out all night fighting monsters and getting food. So far there hasn't been many problems with our arrangement.

  Jemma and I waited for the sun to go down. When it did, we grabbed our weapons and left the house. During the whole time I spent looking for food, I kept thinking about Jemma. We've been through a lot together and I'm surprised over how strong she is. She's such a good fighter when it comes to the monsters. I looked over at Jemma. She was busy fighting a spider. I shot one of my arrows at him and he died. I grabbed the string he dropped and we kept going. 

the next morning

  We walked back into Jemma's house with our inventory full of food and a bunch of other supplies. We had been out all night looking for food and killing monsters and I think we both did a good job with the haul today. Jemma grabbed some of the food and cooked it. "I think you're better at getting the food than I am." She said. "You really think so?" I asked. I went to the crafting table and crafted a bow and some arrows. "I really do. I never seen anyone with such quick thinking." Jemma said. "You have pretty quick thinking yourself." I said. I looked at our coal supply. It was a little bit low. "We should go do some mining pretty soon. Our supply of coal is starting to get a little bit low." I said. "I agree. We need to keep all of the chests full of a bunch of items just in case." Jemma said. I grabbed my pickaxe from my inventory and Jemma grabbed hers and we left. I had crafted a whole bunch of torches and Jemma made a lot also, so I suggested that we put some of them down as a trail for us to follow just in case we don't get back before it gets too dark. Jemma agreed with the idea and as we walked, we placed some of them down in a line for us to follow so we can find our way back to the house.

  After walking for a while, we reached the mine. I jumped down a ladder that I crafted and placed there so we can get out. We placed torches along the walls to light up the mine. We were mining for a while when we both came across a diamond. I mined it and looked at Jemma. "Jemma. I like you more than I like this diamond." I said. "Well I like you and the diamond but I like you just a little bit more." Jemma said. We headed back up. When we reached the top, I held her hand and together we headed back to our house.
