I Want to Tell You a Story.
There was once a couple nineteen years ago.
Pregnant with their first child.
After a few months as the pregnancy went along, the doctor told them:
Their child was going to not be the same as others. It would have physical limitations. It would be mentally slow. It would depend on them for their entire life. It would be a cripple.
It would be better off aborted.
They tried multiple times to convince the couple.
. . .
At the end of the pregnancy, they gave birth to a baby girl.
Her lungs clogged, refused to eat, but after 9 days in the N.I.C.U, they went home.
After a year, they had another baby girl.
Two years later, their third baby girl.
In 2010, their first baby boy.
Three years later, the second boy.
In 2017, the youngest of the squad.
The oldest came to a website and was able to find people she belonged with. To Wattpad.
She spent hours of the day talking to new found friends, excelling in school, beung a normal young teenager.
In 2017 she found whom she wanted to marry.
. . .
None of this story happened.
As the first child was aborted Because of the precast.
If this little girl lived, she would have been the one to write her story here. As 60 million since Roe v Wade could potentially do.
This girl is. Because that girl is me.
This is the type of story that a lot of people give.
When parents bring into the world a nine month, seven month, even a five month baby. No matter the risk of Down Syndrome. No matter the risk of disability.
Life. Is precious. From the moment of conception to natural death.
This is my story. The best way to tell others is to know how us as the threatened live today.
No disabilities.
Average to excelling in school.
A unique person in the entire world. Just like you all.
