We're finally free.. I don't need to marry Garroth. And I can finally be with Aaron.

It's been months since we left O'Khasis. Almost three years actually.

I sighed as my hands were soaked with dirty dish water.

I hate housework. But... It's better than going back to be a princess.

My voice was quiet. My thoughts were content as I thought, a smile on my lips.

Aaron will be back from a trip that took over a week for them to do.

Dishes clattered in the sink as water sloshed around.

I bit my lip, hoping none of them broke.

Wet, Suds, Rinse, Set, Dry, Put Away.

A continuous loop for dishes that have been piling up because I've been with the girls.

"Momma..." A two year old tugged at my dress skirt.

"Yes, Sara Belle?" I asked, picking up a hand cloth and drying my hands off.

"When's Daddy gunna be home.." She said as I picked her up.

I smiled gently at her. "Daddy's gunna be home soon today... Remember?" I said as I walked into the nursery again.

Sara Belle held onto me as she looked around.

I had to remember to not let her kick my stomach.

I really want Aaron back soon... His absense has Sara Belle scared of not seeing her daddy and... me completely worn out.

I know he's the Lord of FalconClaw after we fixed it up... But still...

His business trips make it really quiet at home.

I softly hummed as Sara Belle started to fall asleep. I smiled, rocking back and forth in the rocking chair before putting her down in bed.

I smiled as I kissed her forehead and walking out, turning the light off.

I quietly walked back out into the kitchen and tried to finish the dishes.

There was a door open and shut.

It was the bathroom. I knew the window was slightly open in there so it would do that a lot.

I quietly hummed as I set one of the dishes up onto the counter with the other clean dishes.

Suddenly, I tensed up when I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. "Don't scream." A gentle, low voice whispered to my ear, making me blow a hard breath with a smile.

"Hey Aaron." I said gently.

Aaron smiled before gently spinning me around and kissing me lightly.

I giggled softly, kissing him back. My hands were gently on his neck as his were on my hips.

As much as he could anyway.

He gently pulled away with a smile. "Did you miss me?" He teased.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes. I did." I giggled, looking at him.

He had that darn bandana on over his eyes. "Aw... Come on..." I frowned.

"What?" Aaron chuckled.

"That." I quickly pulled his bandana off with a smile. "There. Now I can see my husband." I smiled.

He chuckled lightly. "Oops."

I smiled lightly. "Sara Belle and the navy missed you." I softly said.

He chuckled lightly. "Sorry..."

"I'm not the one to apologize." I smiled lightly.

Aaron chuckled before bending down by my stomach. "Sorry I was gone, bubby." He said softly to the baby.

The baby just kicked at my side, making me laugh lightly. "Ow."

Aaron laughed lightly as he stood back up. "You look tired." He said gently.

"That's because I am tired, doofus."

He chuckled. "Hm... You go to bed and I'll finish the dishes. Alright?"

"Aaron.. You don't have t-"

"You've been busy enough, Rorie." Aaron smiled. "It'll be alright. Hey. I'll come in after I'm done... Alright?"

I sighed. "Alright..." I quietly said as I looked up at him.

He smiled gently as he kissed my nose and moved to the sink.

I smiled quietly before going into our room. I quietly took off my shoes and laid down in bed, tired.

I'm carrying Sara Belle everywhere? I carry the new baby everywhere as well, dishes, cleaning, picking up...

Wow. I list everything out that makes me tired. That's kind of ridiculous...

I faced the wall that I could see outside the window.

The village was bustling with activity since people of high authority of villages like O'Khasis, Meteli, Phoenix Drop, and Rockshire were coming in a few weeks for a meeting.

I smiled lightly before closing my eyes, exhausted still.

It was a few minutes of feeling alone before I heard and felt the bed creak and a strong arm go around me.

I giggled quietly as I looked up to Aaron. "Hey.."

Aaron smiled as he was laying behind me. "Hey, princess."

I giggled quietly. "I'm not a princess..." I said softly.

"You think that... But to me... You are." He chuckled.

I smiled lightly as I leaned back into him.

He smiled as he kissed my ear, lying with me.

I yawned quietly, falling asleep.

Irene, I missed my family a lot...

Especially Aurora. Every night I was gone I couldn't sleep, not able to sleep long because I felt her presence missing.

Then my girl Sara Belle. Aurora always says that Sara Belle is more of a daddy's girl because every time I'm gone, she's always restless.

I smiled as it took me only a few minutes to fall asleep after I knew Rorie was asleep.

I gently leaned over her and kissed her eyes lightly. "I love you so much, Aurora..."

Aurora took a moment to smile in her sleep.

I smiled before laying back down behind her, holding her close as I fell asleep.

We both have a long few weeks to prepare for the Ru'aun council's first meeting...

▶Rockshire is Jackie and Xavier (family is just the baby girls that are gonna be named Faith and Hope)
