Tears stung Merlin's eyes as he watched his lover go. He could feel his heart break into more and more pieces as he hears the footsteps walk farther and farther away. He closed his green eyes as tears fell to the floor.
  Yet... despite all this... he would never stop loving him...

  Merlin would always wish that he could wake up to the sight of his boyfriend's face, sleeping peacefully. To see him sleepily walk into the kitchen as Merlin cooked up some pancakes. To watch cheesy movies, all snuggled up in a soft blanket with him. To feel the warmth of his body as he held Merlin through the stormiest of nights.

  He couldn't stand to be alone... not again...
  He didn't want him to go.

  Yet he let him go... because he loves him too much...
  But... no matter what happens...

   He will always love him.
