"Happy Birthday to you!"

You felt like royalty, when you usually would have no one on your special day you had five incubi treating you like you're the only other person in the world.

"..Happy birthday to you"

The day has been great, each guy had their own special way of showing their appreciation for you.. their own story

"Happy birthday dear (Y/n).."

And even despite their efforts, they're love seems to be endless. As they sing happy birthday to you with a cake they all pitched in to make.

"Happy birthday to you!"

You almost started tearing up, you didn't know where you would be without them.

Especially today, you probably would have found yourself allowed in bed with nothing to do and no one to do anything with. The only person wishing you a happy birthday would be your mom, your dad most likely forgetting.

But now here you are with five guys that were more than grateful for you, and you are more than grateful for them..

You looked around at everyone, "Thank you, you guys are just.. everything.. I- I don't know.."

Damien laughed "It's okay.. don't cry, we know Sam was off-key"

Erik pitched in, looking relieved "Oh good, for a second I thought I was the only one who noticed"

"Ha! Sam can't sing" Matthew teased.

Sam grumbled to himself, "Shut up, I tried"

You laugh quietly to yourself if their antics, when you felt James place a hand on your shoulder.

You looked up at him and he gave you a reassuring smile, "Come on, blow out your candles"

You nodded and took a deep breath, as you blew out your candles and it went temporarily dark. The lights suddenly came back and the guys cheered.

"Happy birthday (Y/n)!" Matthew hug you again as he repeated himself

"It honestly doesn't even feel like a year.." Sam noted

"No, it feels like three, because it has been three years" James chirped in

"You just had to break the fourth wall, didn't you?" Erik shook his head as he went to cut the cake.

"I think James is right though," Damien started. "It's been three years, but this doesn't feel like goodbye.."

"Because it isn't!" Matthew exclaimed, "We'll see them again and another book"
