Patton’s p.o.v:

    I sighed softly as I woke up near lunch time. I stayed curled up by Virgil mainly because He was warm and it warm semi cold in here but Virgil or the beds. After a bit we hear a knock on the door before it opened it was a shadow person. The only actual people here was Me, Ve, Grey and the ghost of Nisha. Everything still hurt. I was kinda glad that it hadnt been years since I was gone and instead it had been a month. I barely touch my food and Ve ate all of his while we talked some more. He explained to me How they managed to stop fighting after two days and they texted me saying I could come back. Then when I didnt answer for 24 hours they went to the address I gave them and talked with the girls finding out that I never arrived. They had immediately put a Missing person report on me and had a bunch of search Parties out looking for me for three weeks. Now it was just everyone I was close to.

“Hey, I remember you had to tell me, something-” Oh right the rules-

“Oh- y-ya. Well, first thing is first, You cant pull a weapon on grey, He gets really mad when you do and- I dont know what he will do if someone does it that isnt me- Secondly, We have to listen to what he tells us to do. If we dont then one of us by random gets sent back out there. The spots he sends us to is random though. Third, Dont try to run away- Its no use and you get locked in a freezing cold cell for a few hours. The last one I had to learn was to not invite the creatures you befriended in-” I said softly.

“Theres only four-?”

“Well, Kinda. There is four main ones. Plus mini ones he assigns to your own person- and he determines the punishment for each broken rule-” I explain. I curl up a lot remebering each of my own personal rules.

Dont call for help

Dont beg unless told to

Sit still if by grey’s side for the ‘Followers’

Take what you are given

Eat if you are told to

Only listen to grey’s orders unless handed over for fun.

“Oh, Patton-” Ve said and pulls me into another hug. I hug back releasing tears where falling down my face a bit.

“ We WILL get out of here. I promise.” Ve said. He grabbed my food and coxed me to eat a bit more. I had only eaten like two bites of it before but I soon managed to get 3 more bites in before falling asleep in the safety I could feel. I could tell how long I slept before dinner came with Grey. We ate and I managed to eat more with Ve around even though grey watched us carefully. After we ate grey pulled me out and away to do as he pleased with me. I just distance myself with it. After he was done with me, after about 2 or 3 hours he sent me back, kinda limping a bit back. Ve was semi asleep. I tried to get in the room quietly but Virgil did end up waking up. He looked at me and carefully went to me before gently pulling me close to him and he lays down with me. He ended up getting me to tell what happened and I just quietly cried. We fell asleep together. Grey did this every other day. And I hate it.

-2 weeks later-

Virgil’s p.o.v:

It felt like a month here but by what patton said it had been 2 weeks for outside.  Me and Pat Kept forgetting about rule 2 a lot. I was sent out first. This was about the 8th time this week and last week was about 10. I sigh as I see that I was far from the castle now. About a few hours walk now. I sighed and waited for Patton to appear when I felt something. I had learned that as a shadow in another shadow’s world I can still feel if something ends up roaming into the world. That happened to an innocent deer that came in and startled me as I went to go check it out. Grey did let it go after knocking the poor thing out. I sigh and look to see if pat was here yet which he wasn't and I went to go see what it was that I had felt come into the world. Knowing my luck it would be a small group of bunnies entering at about the same time again. I blend into the shadows and put my hood up and put my mask on. Grey had given me a mask after a couple of times so now me and Pat was kinda twins with the mask and cool outfits. And the fact that we survive a lot. I quickly go to where anything coming into this world would appear and I see 7 figures from where I was I start to get closer and see that It was Roman, Remus, Logan, Janus, Emile, Remy, and Thomas. How did they get here-?

“What are we going to do-? What if they're not even here?” Thomas asked in a loud whisper.

“ We ask whoever the person who made this is if they can let us go then- I'm pretty sure they are since the girls didn't find any trace of the two outside the forest and Virgil’s trail had led to the forest- Why are you whispering by the way- We are in a forest, Not a cave or avalanche zone and I don't see any creatures sleeping-” Logan said.

“Because we never know if anyone is watching us-” Thomas replied in a small hiss like way. I then noticed the wolves going to the group quietly. I need to do something- I didn't think as I leapt out out of the shadows and Grabbed Janus who was the closest to me and pulled him behind me. I looked back and saw the other had reacted just as I hoped and ran after me.

“What the hell-?” I hear Janus say as I pull him to an opening finally actually thinking. The others got there and seconds later a few of the wolves appeared behind them. 

“What the Heck- WOLVES!” Janus said seeing the wolves. I rolled my eyes and everyone looked at the growling wolves. I get in between the wolves and the others and I growl a bit. The wolves recognized me and stopped their attack. Me and Patton both were like ultimas for these wolfs. Which ment we where more in charge then actual alphas. Thats how patton explained it to me. I look back at the group and they were looking shocked at what just happened.

“Who are you-? Are you like- the alpha-?” Logan asked.

“Not exactly. Also its a long story.” I said softly. 

“What are you to them then?” Janus asked

“Im like a ultima-? I think-? I dont know really. All I was told was that Im more in control then the alphas so-” I said.

“Are you a wolf- or an Unittien-?” Roman asked. 

“Wow- You actu-” I start before getting cut off by a roar of one of the beasts. Thats what we call the creatures that we couldnt befriend that still attack us.

“What was that.?”

“One of the beasts- Do you all have some sort of weapon-?” I asked. They all nodded showing thier weapon. Thomas and Emile had Knifes like me, Remy and Remus had Maces, Roman had a sword, and Janus had his snake cane that could also be a sword. It was complicated-

“Good- You’ll need to USE those-” I said before leading the way to where the best was. They follow me and soon we get to the opening the beast and Patton was in. I looked at the scene that was playing infront of me. Patton jumped onto the beast and Stabbed its left Eye. It roared again and threw Patton off of it. Patton yelped and slowly started to get back up. He was to injured to actually fight. The beast growls and goes for an attacked and bite Patton on the arm. I growl and get up just as the others arrive and I jump onto the beast and stab it again. The beast let go Of patton’s arm and tried to get me but I kept my grip and I kept stabbing the beast. The beast soon goes down and fades away. The others looked at were the beast just was then at me. I looked over at patton and noticed he had went into his harmed curled up position. He was in a tiny ball on the ground and I could barely hear him whimper in pain a bit.

“What just happened-?” Roman asked.

“Beast attack Princey-” I growl as I went over to Patton and carefully pulled him close. I managed to get a hold on Patton to carry him for a bit. He was getting weaker and weaker and smaller and smaller each ‘day’

“Wait- Virgil?!” Roman asked. I sighed and pulled down my masked and hood and looked at them. I did have a couple of scratches on my cheeks and a healing scratch on my forehead. I did have quiet a bit of scratches and cut and bruises as well, granted they were no where near as bad as Patton’s.

“Virgil- Oh god how did we not recognize you-? I-is that- is that patton-?” I couldnt blame them that they didnt recognize me. I mean I was pretty scarred and cut with bruises plus The outfits was hard to tell who was who. Plus I didnt recognize Patton at first either. 

“I- Ya- How was the last 2 weeks btw-? Heard the girls where tracking-” I said softly as I pulled out the little medical supplies we hand and I started to bandaged Patton who was now asleep.

“How do you know its been two weeks- Have you two been out here with all the creatures the whole time-?” Remus asked.

“No, We havent been out here the whole time- Greyson is at least that damn merciful- Theres a castle down the path a bit. If I could I would make sure non of us would be near it. However Grey’s world, so Greys rules.” I say in a small growl.

“What-? Why-?” 

“Because the jackass that is the damn mastermind of this world is a fucking phycopath-” I say mostly looking at Patton. Patton was sweet and innocent and didn't deserve anything that grey did to him. I'm surprised that patton was even able to jump and fight back at all. For the last few days Grey had been taking patton and rapeing him every day. The first time he did it after doing it the ‘night’ before, Patton whimpered and cried even asleep. He just clung onto me unable to actually let go for hours. The Grey did it 2 more times before finally I snapped and Didnt let patton go. That was last night and Grey sent me out this morning. I have no idea what he did to Patton though. From what I could tell, Patton was more bruised and had more cuts on him. I then noticed some bite marks a bit and my blood boiled. Grey definatly had his way with pat again and this time left marks.

“Oh- what shuld we do then-?” Thomas asked a bit.

“One of you has to come with me and Patton. I sensed you all come in and lucky for us if multiple beings enter at once it just says that one did. Whenever something comes in we are suppose to bring it back to the castle- The rest of you can stay with the wolves. You all plan a way to take care of grey-” I said.

“I’ll go- I know more medical then you do and it might help Patton.” Janus said. I nodded a bit and hands roman a communication crystal. I then explained that Patton has his own and I can just tell grey I lost mine again. If a crystal is connected to one crystal and then connects to another crystal its like a three way thing. So ya- Eventually patton woke up a bit telling us that a beast was close by.

“OK Lets split. Janus follow me, The rest of you follow the wolves-” I say as I help patton Stand up to head back. Luckily Patton was still in a halve asleep state that took about ten minutes to clear and He Hasn't remembered what he heard or saw in that state lately. That would be concerning normally but right now, I didnt really care about that. Me and janus gets to the gates by the time Pat could process information correctly.

“Janus-?” Patton asked softly. He sounded more weak then ever now though. Janus nodded a bit and softly smiled at patton. We get inside and faced with Greyson.

“So this is what wondered here this time-?” Grey asked with a bit of a smirk. I nodded a bit along with Patton.

“Y-yes sir.” Patton said softly. I saw janus’s look of worry for Patton out of the corner of my eye.

“ Good, You two know the rules when Im gone- Ill be gone till tommorow. Make sure the new one knows the rules. I hope you did learn your lessons this time.

“Yes sir-” Both me and Patton said at the same time. Grey nodded a bit before disappearing which ment we were also dismissed.

“Learned what lesson-?’ Janus asked. I saw pat shiver a bit and hug himself at just the thought.

“Pat, do you want me to tell janus or-?” I asked.

“Y-you can tell him- Im going to go get cleaned up in one of the bathrooms-” Pat said softly. I nodded and he heads to one of the bathrooms. I sighed softly and I lead janus to the room.

“Ok so, One of the main reasons I hate Grey and why Patton is terrified of him is that he like to have ‘fun’ with Patton- He used to do it every other night but for the last couple days….. I snapped at him last night to keep Patton away from him. That didnt do much good since in the hour inbetween me being sent out and pat-” I cut myself off sighing softly I could feel the anger rise in me and a bit in janus. Heaven knows what Roman and Remus would do to Grey if they were here instead.

“I understand that Patton is terrified, but haven't you tried to kill grey-?” Janus asked.

“Once- He locked me in a cell downstairs for the night and the nest day Pat wouldn’t let me go and had new fresh bruises and cuts. The damn bastard even burnt Patton a little bit-” I said. I left out the part where grey had threatened to Harm pat and make me helplessly watch if I tried again. I also had learnt that Grey could tell if Patton was hiding something from him and Patton is now too scared to hide stuff from grey now. Hence why I was glad that Patton only saw Janus. 

“ Oh- What about that plan to kill grey-?” Janus asked.

“ Grey wouldnt know if anyone came in while he is gone- When he gets back tomorrow and if He accidentally catches one of the others trying to kill him, I could just say I tries to warn you that I felt someone come in but we arent allowed to leave.” I answer. We nod and patton soon comes back and we talk. Food is soon brought and I see that Patton doesnt eat a lot of it. Just one or two bites. Eventually It becomes Night time and We Fall asleep. Patton was in my arms and Janus and I were leaning on each other. I woke up about a few hours later and see Roman and Remus covered in blood, Remy, Emile and thomas Talking with Gaurdia and Elisabeth, and Logan taking note with Nightlara Semi healing Patton. I looked around and saw Janus and Patton was still asleep and we were in a forest. 

“Did you do it-?” I asked. Roman looked at me and nodded. 

“Ya- He came through the entrance avoiding the girls and we saw Him and Me and remus did a quick sneak attack on him-” Roman said. I smiled and Looked down at Patton who was still sleeping. He was safe- HE didnt have to worry about Grey coming to touch him more for a while. I gently hugged him and got up as remus woke Janus up. We all then headed to a hotel nearby before heading home. Pat was happy that we were free and literally clung onto everyone for hours. He didnt leave the house without at least two of us or if the girls where with him. He did manage to slowly eat a bit more little by little and He was sleeping now. Logan made sure he was on a sleep schedule for a bit. Pat did have Nightmares and did curl up whenever remus mentioned anything about fucking for a bit. After We had told the others Remus did his best not to say anything like that but still ended up saying it. It was fine Though. We helped him with the nightmares and Remus always tried making it up to Patton Even when Patton said it was ok.

Pat was asleep now as me and janus got back. He had went through a baking frenzy that he used to go through before the events happened. This is actually the first one since then which ment something to us. Patton was asleep on the floor along with remus who was in a light sleep. I knew this because he snores when hes in a deep sleep and He looked towards the door when we entered.

“Hey, Paps feel asleep after the last batch and I didnt feel like carrying him to bed or to the couch-” Remus said. Janus smiled and rolled his eyes before gently Picking Patton up and sets him on the couch. On himself. I helped remus finish frosting the sweets and we both then went to sit down on the couch with janus and Patton. I sat on the arm and renus on the back of the couch. We turned on steven universe and we quietly chatted eventually Roman, Thomas and Logan came back from work and joined us. Patton also woke up as well.
