~Mia's POV~

"I don't know if I can do this Rainy. What if she says no?" I asked my friend as she put her things in her locker.

"Well you gotta think of something quick. I've already asked Leilah and Kat's already asked Courtney. You need to hurry if you want to ask her before the other guys do." Rainy said as she turned to face me.

"I know but I'm just worried she'll turn me down. You know that's one of my fears." I told her, running a hand through my hair; causing my fox ears to twitch.

"You know what. I'll give you two days to ask Mika to prom. If you don't ask her, I will personally kick your butt." Rainy said as she pushed her locker closed and walked off to her next class.

I let a small smile crawl onto my face as I turned and headed off to English. Leave it to Rainy to always find a way to get me going. I let out an inaudible sigh as I walked into the classroom and sat near the next to Nadine.

"Hey Mia! How's the promposal coming along?" Nad asked as I pulled out some paper and began to write things down.

"Rainy gave me two days to ask Mika out to prom. It's just, I can't find the right way." I answered as I began to doodle on said paper.

"Well, I'm sure it will come to you, just like it did with me and Dark!" Nad exclaimed happily as she played with her dark grey wolf tail.

"Yeah. Hopefully." I whispered to myself as class began.

~Time Skip One Day~

I finally have it. And I think it's perfect.

"Is everything ready?" Kat asked as she, Rainy, Dark, Leilah, Courtney, and Nad began to hide.

"Yep. Everything's been set up." I answered as I clutched the bouquet of flowers in my shaking hand.

"Hey." Kat said as she placed a hand on my shoulder. "You'll be fine. She'll say yes."

I nodded and took a few breaths to clam myself down. Kat smiled at me as she gave two thumbs up before hiding in the bushes with everyone else.

~Mika's POV~

"I'll see you guys later!" I yelled to my family as I walked out the door. "I'm gonna go hang out with friends"

"Okay sweety! Stay safe!" My mom yelled back to me.

"I will!" I replied as I closed the door.

Turning around, I raised am eyebrow as I looked at the flower petals that were placed on my dtiveway; with a small letter sitting right at the head of the trail. Carefully, I picked up the letter and opened it up. The words 'Follow the petals' were written there; along with a little smiley face that made me giggle.

Putting the letter in my pocket, I began to follow the trail of petals. They continued along the sidewalk for a little bit before they turned on the trail into the forest.

~3rd Person POV~

Soon, the flowers turned into candles as Rainy used her magic to light up the scene. Mika continued on her way before entering the clearing. Mia stood nervously in the clearing; giving Mika a smile when she approached.

"Mia? What is going on?" Mika asked with a small laugh.

"I-it was so i could ask you something important." Mia told her; cursing herself for stuttering slightly.

"What did you want to ask?" Mika asked; knowing where this was going.

"Look over there." Mia said, guiding her friends face over to the meadow.

Mika stood in awe as she stared at the flowers in the field; which made out the words: Will you go to Prom with me?

A large smile made its way onto Mika's face as she turned to Mia; who held up the bouquet of flowers.

"Yes." Mika said as she pulled her friend into a hug.

Mia smiled happily as she hugged Mika back; giving the others thumbs up and mouthing Thank you to Rainy.

~Time Skip to Prom Night and Mia's POV~

"Nice dress." Rainy said as I stepped out of my house; closing the door behind me.

Rainy's dress:

"Same to you." I said as we hopped into the limo Kat rented.

"Hey Mia! You girls ready for tonight?" Kat asked as she smiled at us happily.

Kat's dress:

"Hell yeah!" Rainy exclaimed, causing us to laugh.

"Leilah and Courtney are already there. So all we need to do is go pick up Mika and wr can dance the night away!" Kat said as we pulled up at Mika's house.

"Go get her love bird." Rainy said, pushing me slightly.

I blushed slightly and climbed out of the car. I walked up to the front door and nervously knocked on the door. Footsteps were heard before the door was opened to reveal Mika's mom.

"Oh hello Mia! Are you here to pick up Mika?" She asked sweetly.

"Yes ma'am." I said, playing with my hands nervously behind my back.

"She'll be here in a second." Mika's mother said before she disappeared behind the door.

It seemed like forever before Mika finally appeared. And let me tell you, I was in awe.

"Wow. You look beautiful." I said to her, causing her to blush.

Mika's dress:

"Thanks." She said smiling.

"Ready to go?" I asked her as I held up a hand.

Mika nodded and grabbed my hand; allowing me to guide her towards the limo Kat and Rainy were in.

"That's a beautiful dress Mika!" Kat exclaimed as we both got into the limo.

"I agree." Rainy said as we drive off towards the school.

"Thanks guys!" Mika replied happily as she continued to hold my hand; causing me to blush.

"No problem. Oh look! There's the school!" Kat said as she pointed out the window.

A few seconds later, we pulled into the parking lot. We all stepped out of the car; receiving whistles and cat calls to which we laughed at.

We all walked towards the field, where the dance was happening. Soon, Kat and Rainy ran away to join their partners, leaving me and Mika together.

"Hey, you wanna go dance?" Mika asked me as she pulled to the dance floor.

"But I don't know how to dance really..." I told her quietly as we stopped in the middle of the sea of people.

"Just follow my lead. Place your hands on my waist." Mila said as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

I listened to her instructions and before I knew it, we were swaying along to the beat just like everyone else.

"Hey Mia?" Mika asked, drawing my attention away from my feet.

"Yeah?"

"Why did you ask me to come to prom with you? I mean, don't get me wrong I'm enjoying this. But, why me of all people?" Mika asked.

"B-because." I answered, smiling slightly.

"Because what?"

"Because I love you." I answered, hoping she wouldn't push me away.

"I love you too." Mika said as she kissed me softly.

I kissed back as quickly as I could; the music being drowned out by the kiss. I never wanted to pull away.

At least I could say, this was the best prom ever.
