"Run!" He yelled to the male beside him; a horde of zombies right on their tail.

"Where we gonna go? They're right behind us!"

"Just stay strong Mitch! We can make it out of this!"

*Flashback*

He looked so peaceful. Jerome wished this moment would remain forever; but sadly come daylight, they're on the move again. Dark thoughts clouded Jerome's mind as he stared at his lover's face. Thoughts of losing Mitch to the dreaded horde that followed them wherever they went. They had already lost all their friends to the zombies that stalked them.

Closing his eyes and letting out a deep breath, Jerome allowed Mitch's fave to enter his mind; smiling as his lover's face smiled back at him.

*Flashback Over*
*Different Flashback*

"Jerome, I'm scared..." Mitch quietly spoke as the two laid next to each other in an abandoned building; the groaning of the walkers outside keeping the two from sleep's bittersweet hold.

"Me too biggums, but I promise we'll both make it." Jerome told Mitch calmly; lying when he knew there was a slim chance of either male surviving.

"O-okay... I trust you." Mitch said as he cuddled up to Jerome's chest. "I love you."

"I love you too..." Jerome replied as Mitch quickly fell asleep in his arms.

*Flashback Over*

"Jerome... I don't think... I don't think I can do this anymore..." Mitch said in a tired voice; his breathing heavy and his speed decreasing.

"N-no. You c-can't give up! Not now!" Jerome exclaimed as he stopped next to Mitch.

Mitch said nothing as he kissed Jerome passionately on the lips.

"Run." Mitch whispered as he pulled away and began to back up towards the oncoming horde. "Live for me."

A chocked sob escaped Jerome's lips as he nodded; tears streaming down both their faces.

"I love you." Was the last thing Mitch said before he disappeared into the horde.

"I love you too..." Jerome whispered as he turned and ran harder than ever.
