Brotherhood

Hey, guys! Sorry it's been a REALLY long time. April was a crazy month for me and I was super busy. Thank gosh the month is over, right? I know this isn't the best writing ever, but at least it's something! Hope you enjoy and well, you know what else I say. Read on, fellow Wattpaders! And for this chapter, this is before the Haunting/Haunted started.

And I'd love to give a big shout-out to Insaneobesser777 for helping me and inspiring me to write fanfiction. So big props to her! And everyone else who is my friend here on Wattpad. :)

Drake sprinted around the beach of the lake, the bright hot sun blaring down on him as he ran as fast as he could in large circles. Sand was stuck in between his toes and the bottom of his damp feet, sweat drenching his skin but he continued to run, a wide smile plastered on his face.

He looked over his shoulder. Behind him, Armen was chasing after him, a giant green lizard gripped in his hand, holding it out in front of him. He was also grinning in enjoyment from the fact that Drake was afraid of the lizard.

Armen picked up the pace of his running, getting closer and closer towards his friend in front of him and reaching the lizard closer to Drake.

"Agh, get that thing away from me!" Drake said, smiling and trying to run faster. This just earned a big goofy laugh from his friend.

Armen managed to steer him to the long wooden dock that was on the beach and trap him, Drake turning around and walking slowly backwards, his hands out in front of him in surrender.

Armen smiled maliciously and giggled once Drake reached the end of the dock. "Gotcha now!"

He shoved the lizard in his friend's face, that looked highly alarmed. But then, Drake slipped on the edge and toppled into the lake, going underwater backwards.

Armen at first burst out laughing and held his sides, but then his goofiness quickly faded once Drake didn't come up from the water about ten seconds later.

Armen bended over the water on the deck, releasing the lizard in his grasp, on his hands and knees, shouting at the top of his lungs, "Drake!" He started to panic when he didn't hear an answer and began to breath heavily, his throat getting dry. Drake couldn't of drowned, right?

The thought of this made Armen even more frightened and not thinking twice, dived head-first into the cold water of the lake. Underneath, Armen frantically looked around for his in need friend, struggling to keep his eyes open and for the oxygen not to escape his mouth. He couldn't give up. Drake was way more important.

Armen suddenly saw a hand out of the corner of his eye and spun towards it. It was Drake, his eyes closed and small bubbles starting to come out the corners of his mouth. That meant he was losing air. Armen quickly rushed over, wrapped his arms around his friend's body, and grappled up to the surface, his arms fighting not to let go of Drake.

It took a little while, but Armen managed to come up from the water, drag his friend out of the lake, and bring him onto the beach.

Armen set Drake's head on his lap, leaned down, and checked his heartbeat. It was slowing and was faint. Even more panicked, Armen put both hands in the center of Drake's chest and started to push up and down rapidly and quickly, attempted to make his heartbeat go back to normal.

When nothing happened, Armen stopped and started to tear up and breath heavily again. No. No. This was all Armen's fault. He was the one who made Drake fall into the water. He should've known that Drake hates water.

Armen gulped as tears started to stream down his cheeks. He buried his face into Drake's chest, his shoulders jerking up and down as he sobbed like a little child.

Then suddenly, Armen heard a cough. He quickly looked up and saw that Drake was awake, wheezing and coughing, but was alright!

A smile started to appear on Armen's face. "Drake!" he shouted. He wrapped his arms tightly around his friend as the sad tears turned into happy tears. "I thought I lost you!"

Drake grinned and gave Armen a warm secure hug back as his friend sobbed tears of joy into his shoulder. "Oh Armen, do you think I would ever leave you?" Armen smiled. No, Drake probably wouldn't ever leave him. And there was one reason for that — they were the greatest best friends in the entire world, sharing a bond that was like family.

That was like brotherhood.

So here it is, everybody! Wow, almost 800 words! Wow. Didn't know this was that long. Comment, vote, do all the stuff if you liked it! XD I'll take suggestions for the next chapter if you have any. I guess, buh-bye now! (So Armen.)
