Part 1: Chapter 2- Time for Change
I sat on one of the park benches nervously. I had told Kathy that I needed to talk to her and she said that she would be at the park.
"What is it that you need to tell me?" came the the familiar voice of my friend.
I took a deep breath. "Kathy, have you ever wondered what is life like outside the walls? Those stories from the library are about them. I had a dream and it seemed so real, the feeling of being truly... free." I slowed down on the last part, catching Kathy's shocked face.
"But there are dangers out there!" I could tell that she was trying to keep calm. "Monsters that tries to break through The City's walls for decades. They will be hunting you down."
"I know," I said. "But I believe that life isn't being confined to the walls all the time. I need to travel around, see the other parts of the world."
She sighed. "I thought you were different. I am right. You are one of the few who are curious. But, if you are going, I can't stop you. Nor come with you."
I felt a pang of disappointment but I knew that Kathy would always remain attached to The City.
"Then it is goodbye," I said sadly. "I will try to visit. Farewell, I will miss you the most." I had to force myself to say it, as it felt that a huge lump was struck in my throat.
As I walked away, I could feel Kathy's anguished stare, that seemed to pierce through my heart.
"Goodbye," I whispered as if I was saying goodbye to everything I will lose by stepping out of The City.

A bony figure stood triumphant over an unmoving shape. "Weakling," he sneered. He heard the growling of the other king's minions.
"Now you all shall obey me," he laughed. "Or face death like your leader here."
All the zombies bowed their heads in submission, dropping their weapons. "I am strong," he growled. "I am the terror itself! Soon, I will rule. Soon, I will be the most powerful."
He turned to a fadded book. "This book," he said, brushing dust from it, "will be my treasure. My secert."
In a louder voice he shouted, "Mobs of The Overworld and The Nether and even The End will fall at my knees!"
"Your destiny will still not be changed," a different voice said calmly. "You will be defeated."
"Really, mage?" he snorted. "Your predictions are out of date. You were never correct."
The mage smiled. "Perhaps, but this will be. The prophecy will be fulfilled, and nothing can stop it. Not even you."
With a furious roar, the bony figure swang his huge diamond sword at the mage. It phased right through him.
"I will rule!" he snarled as the mage vanished. "The entire world will be mine!"

I took a bite of my bread. I have been walking for literally ages, in one random direction. I hoped to find a village before nightfall, but many joined The City, so my hopes are low.
Suddenly, I saw the outline of a village. Excitement bubbled in my chest as I quickly made my way there.
I smiled as I have a place to stay that night, as I do not want to meet the mobs of the night.
