Jesse's POV

We were rushing back to Beacon Town after we escaped the 'Underneath'
We were so tired.

We entered the gates to Beacon Town only to be invited by the mess it had become with Romeo now in charge.

"Anyone have a clue as to how we're supposed to get in that?" Petra asked.

"I have no clue. I'll figure it out later because right now we have to find a safe place to brainstorm without getting caught." I said.

"What about the map shop?" Jack offered.

"Yeah, Ok. Definitly sounds like our best bet so far." Petra agreed.
So we tried to sneak our way to the shop, only to have our little 'mission' disrupted by Romeo.

"Guys! We got company!" Jesse whisper-shouted over her shoulder. When everyone had been notified of Romeo's presence, they all ducked behind wooden planks and watched from the shadows of the gloomy sky. Romeo was walking with Stella, Axel, Olivia and......Lukas by his side.

'Oh no. What is Romeo plotting on doing with them?'

Axel, Lukas and Olivia were distressed and wanted to scamper away from the town. This angered Romeo and he 'taught them a lesson' by making Champion city explode in a matter of split seconds.

"That...was just..." Petra didn't finish her sentence, so I completed it for her. "Awful..."
"We have to stop Romeo, once and for all. His evil doings are over due their payment." I say to no one in particular.

*Time skip to map shop*

We arrived safely to our destination on the other side of town. We started scanning the place for anything that could help us get up into the terminal. There was a hidden lever placed between glass blocks. Levers have always helped in bad situations, so I decide to take a risk and pull the object. It revealed a dusty set of Elytra Wings!

"By the stars, I had almost forgotten about those." Jack gasped.
"That's it!" I exclaimed and surprised everyone with my enthusiasm. "That's how we will get up to the tower." I said.
"But Elytra Wings don't exactly go up....they glide." Radar piped in.
I paced around, following an invisible circle on the floor, thinking. Then finally it hit me like lightning.

"Romeo is having this whole festival tonight, so that means their will be fireworks...." I explained to the others.
"But how are fireworks going to help us?" Jack questioned, staring at me blankly, as were the others.
"Jack, Petra and I will sneak backstage to get the uniforms so that we're not too recognizable. Then we will get fireworks and at the appropriate time, I will use them to shoot me all the way up the tower with the help of the Wings. You and Jack...." I motioned to Petra and Jack. "Will swim up a waterfall that I create with a bucket of water which I will receive from Radar." I finished off. "Ha! My bucket, your secret weapon." Radar announces. We all agreed to my plan until we were startled with the clatter of something on the floor.

Everyone pushed me forward to investigate the noise. I was introduced with a pair of two, fluffy, white ears.
"Lluna!?" I gasped in realization of the llama. "Wait, how did you escape?" I asked the animal, who appeared a little annoyed at me for leaving her. "Because I saved her!" We heard a familiar voice shout. Only one person I know that talks too loud.
"Ivor!" Petra and I scream at the same time. "Turns out Lluna here is quite the escape artist...." Ivor gives us a fact.
"Now that everyone is reunited, can we get on with the plan?" Ivor asks. "Sure, but I don't want to get caught. It's not safe out there." Petra complains. "That's why you're not going to do it. Jesse is. She is the only one who can wander around without getting noticed." Of course I would get noticed, but I knew what Ivor meant.

I changed into my normal outfit and left the building. I walked a few feet down the path to be greeted by a banner with my face on it reading - 'Jessecon' I found it a little weird but I carried on walking until I spotted Stella. She was sliding through the crowd with a clipboard in her hands. I ran to catch up to her, but lost her in the wave of people and bad lighting of the day. I started walking around again until I came across Nell's house. My statue had been rebuild in a evil - vibe kind of way. Nell kinda looked upset. I knew she was scared of me, but tried not to show it too much. I was busy telling her to change it back to the way it was when Romeo teleported out of nowhere and saw that his 'masterpiece' had been changed. Outraged he teleported Nell away and then himself.

*Time skip to backstage*

Our plan managed to pull off and we were now getting ready for the finally of fireworks. I had just finished crafting a firework when I notice three figures out of the corner of my eye. I swiftly spin around to interrogate the owners of the figures to be glued in place at the sight of the beings.

When they noticed there were people there, they stopped dead in their tracks and stared at me in horror. The corners of my lips curled up into a smile. Axel, Olivia and Lukas. I ran up to them and expected a warm welcome from my friends only for their frightened gazes, turn into angered glares. They drew their weapons and charged at me like hungry wolves, ready for a battle. My expression went from joyful to petrified in a matter of split seconds.

I thought this would be the end of me, when someone yelled "STOP!" By my side. I looked to my right to see Petra and Radar. To my left was Jack. The trio stopped and looked confused. "This is the real Jesse. The Jesse you have been around since you got back from the Ice Palace was the Admin. He imitated the identity of Jesse to fool everyone." Petra explains to them. They sheath their weapons and come stampeding towards Jesse all except for Lukas. Axel and Olivia squeeze the life out of Jesse as they hug her. When they leave Jesse from their 'breathtaking' embrace, Jesse's face falls at the sight of her third friend.

He is looking at the ground, hair in his face. She walks up to him and lifts his chin so she is looking into his eyes.
"Jesse. I-I am sorry that I tried to kill you. Can you forgive me?" I stared at him with soft eyes. "Lukas. You have nothing to be sorry about. If someone took the form of one of my friends and started doing wicked things - I would also try to execute them." I said trying to make him feel better. (Which probably only made it worse...) "So does that mean yes?" Lukas asks playfully. "If that didn't get through to you, then does this? I say and give him a quick peck on the lips. He stared at me awkwardly and turned a light shade of pink. I giggled and kissed him again, but with more passion. He melted into it, just as I suspected. I always knew Lukas had a crush on me, and to be honest....I did too.

We broke apart and embraced, everyone else joining in. I have faith in this plan now that I was reunited with my friends and Lukas.

Heyy guys. Hope you have had a wonderful day/night. I am so sorry for not posting for a few months - I feel super guilty - I have just been extremely busy with school, (I think you can relate) my first few weeks of high school has been pretty rough so I didn't have any gaps to write. Also I have caught a virus ( yay me) and will have more time to write and update. Hope you understand and I am sincerely sorry.
