Back to the story:

At the second train, the three had come up with a sketchy plan to take down Dream. It would have to do, since they were nearing their stop.

Surround him

Potions? (Don't have enough)

Talk to him?

Bow and arrow? (only have one, won't work for close combat)

Maintain distance

Shields! (only have 2)

Shifting? (Only if needed, since it's draining to do on earth)

Attack one at a time or all at once?

He has a crystal. Go for the kill.

Yeah it wasn't much of a plan really. George called it having a "flexible" plan so they could adapt, but it didn't really ease the uncomfortable feeling in Bad's stomach. They were unprepared and separated, a bad combo.

"Huh that's weird..." George mumbled interrupting the silence between them.

"What is it?" Ant asked.

"The orange dot, which is Sapnap, stopped moving, while the green one, Dream, is still going as fast as it was."

"If they were both on the other train, does that mean Sapnap got off?" Bad asked, worry seeping into his voice.

"Maybe Sapnap got off to wait for us, and Dream just stayed on for the next ride to get away?" Ant offered.

"There would've been a stop for both of them, since the train would've made a pause to let people off." George reasoned.

"That means... either Sapnap jumped off, which is an awful idea looking at the path of this train, or he lost his crystal, which is probably worse..." Antfrost started.

"Or both." George shrugged.

"That is not helping George!" Antfrost talked more loudly.

"Keep it down guys." Bad said, looking around at the other people. Luckily it didn't seem like anyone had heard them.

"Either way, we need to find them both quickly. The faster this is over the better for everyone." Bad said, thinking about getting back to Skeppy as soon as he could.

A few minutes later the train stopped and they got off.

"We should find Sapnap first, right? Make sure he's ok?" Bad asked the other two.

"Sure." George said bitterly. He still seemed mad about the -Sapnap being an idiot and running off- incident.

They looked around at their surroundings as they followed the dot in the same direction they came from, leading them towards a forest.

A few minutes of climbing over fallen trees and under low branches later, they found a beautiful waterfall and a small lake.

Antfrost was well ahead of them until he stopped at the water and looked at the wet rocks wading in the water.

"Do we have to cross that?" He asked, shuddering as he took a step backwards.

"Actually no, the orange dot is right here?" George said, looking at his pad and then back up towards the lake.

Bad walked forward, being the last to get through the woods. He marveled at the shimmering clearing. He stepped forwards and out of the bushes, and glanced at George's trackpad. They were practically on top of the dot, but there was no Sapnap in sight.

He looked at the water, dipped his hand in, and pulled out an orange crystal.

"Uhm... I think I found the dot.." Bad said, showing it to the group.

"YOU HAD TO GO AND JINX IT ANTFROST!"

"ME?! You were the one who said he fell and lost the crystal!"

Bad ignored their bickering and looked towards the waterfall. Sure it was beautiful, but they also seemed to be a splash of color where there shouldn't be. Looking closer, he saw that it was a person sitting directly next to the waterfall peacefully. He wore a white blouse, brown combat boots, and had long pink braided hair.

"Uhm hello! Who are you?" Bad call to the stranger by the waterfall.

Antfrost and George noticed him as well when Bad said that, and stopped arguing. The stranger didn't notice them and continued to sit silently.

"Hello!?" Bad called louder. No response.

"HELLO PERSON BY THE WATERFALL?!" Bad yelled towards the guy, who made a scrunched up face. He opened his eyes and glared at the group of three interrupting his peace.

"What do you want!? I'm trying to sit here in PEACE."

"Oh- uhm sorry? But we were wondering if you've seen a man around here? 2 actually. One's wearing green and the other-"

"No, I have not seen anyone, because you are the first person to interrupt my peace today. As you can see, my eyes were closed, so even if someone were to have walked by, I wouldn't have noticed. Is that all?"

Bad continued talking, much to the annoyance of the person with pink hair, who had closed his eyes again.

"No actually. The green man is very dangerous and we would like to advise you to leave, seeing he is around here somewhere and could hurt you if he finds you."

"I can take care of myself," The man said sharply. Bad was starting to get annoyed.

"Listen. It's not safe-" Bad started again.

"I said I can take care of myself. Now leave me alone."

Bad was tired of getting interrupted. "LISTEN HERE YOU MUFFINHEAD. HE WILL KILL ANYONE IN HIS WAY, INCLUDING YOU, SO SWALLOW YOUR PRIDE FOR A MINUTE AND GET OUT OF HERE."

The man in pink hair was surprised enough by the yelling to open his eyes again and shift his position towards the group. Antfrost and George behind him stood back in shock at the sudden yelling from Bad. Even Bad was surprised at himself, but he ignored the shock and stood his ground. The pink man rose from his place and walked towards the group gracefully. He was significantly taller than Badboyhalo and Bad suddenly wished he could still change his size in his human form.

"And who do you think you are to tell me what to do." It did not sound like a question in the slightest.

Bad shrunk under the stance of this tall stranger, who he could now see, was holding a thin sword by his side. He took a breath in, straightened his back, and spoke.

"I am a person trying to get a dangerous man on the loose under control. And protect people in his way. Like you."

The tall pink haired man let go of his glare, sheathed his sword, and nodded. George, Antfrost, and Bad were all equally confused at this gesture.

"I respect the confidence. Me and my friend live here in the woods, but I suppose you aren't from around here. The locals avoid this place like the plague." He chuckled. "I'm not leaving this place right now, but I might be able to help you find what you are looking for. You said you are looking for 2 people? Can you describe them?"

Bad perked up at the sudden niceness of the stranger.

"One is wearing a neon green hoodie and a face mask, hard to miss, he's the dangerous one. The other is our friend with black hair, a bandana on his head, and a flame symbol on a white t-shirt."

"Ok. We can ask my friend if he's seen them. Follow me."

"Wait, what's your name?" Bad asked.

"Technoblade. Call me Techno."

"I'm Badboyhalo, but you can call me Bad."

"Interesting name," Techno mumbled loud enough for him to hear.

"Same to you." Bad said.

They shook hands and nodded at each other. Antfrost and George were dumbstruck in the background of this.

"Did that just happen?" George asked Ant.

"I think it did?" Antfrost said in a tone that sounded much more like a question than an answer.

The group steadily followed this new Techno person through the forest for a few minutes. They stayed on their guard in case Dream decided to show up out of nowhere and attack, since their first priority was to find Sapnap. Techno had also unsheathed his sword after they warned him that Dream could be following them. After a short while, the group came to a secluded part of the forest with a small clearing, and Badboyhalo and Technoblade stopped in their tracks. Antfrost had kept walking and bumped into Bad.

"Why'd we stop?" Ant asked, stepping back.

He stepped to the side of Bad and Techno to see what they were looking at, and so did George who was a few feet behind. They all gasped at the sight, Techno dropping his weapon to the forest floor in shock.
