Chapter 4// SAPNAP ON A TRAIN

Meanwhile on Earth, the hunting gang was tracking Dream. By the looks of the dots on the tablet, they were catching up. It looked like Dream had stopped in one place for a bit, which allowed the group to gain some ground.

"Why do you think he stopped?" Bad asked, starting to look around at their surroundings more. It was much more crowded than before, and the buildings were getting taller and closer together.

"Probably just tired," Sapnap said, shrugging off the weird feeling he had about this place.

They walked over to the extremely crowded sidewalk, with people rushing around them. If they weren't careful, they would probably get split up and lost, and as of now, they didn't have reliable communication.

The green dot was really close to them. Sapnap saw him first. A neon green blur in the mess of the crowd.

"THERE HE IS!" Sapnap yelled, dashing farther into the crowd. Dream noticed him.

"That was a mistake." He realized.

"Sapnap, no! We have to stay together!" George yelled, which surprisingly didn't call any attention to any of them. "Ugh he's such an idiot!"

They ran after Sapnap, who was running after Dream, who now knew he was being chased and had sped up. Dream ran to a platform with a very long track. The door was closing, and Dream jumped through. A few people screamed at the sight of a man in a neon green hoodie with a white mask jumping into the closing doors of a subway. Yeah might have been a first sight for some of the people on the train. Then the train-subway-overground-thing started.

"Not getting away that easy, Dream." Sapnap whispered, before doing the unthinkably stupid. He flicked out his axe into his hand from the void, and jumped onto the top of the train and ledged his axe into the metal to hold him steady using his axe to hold him steady.

"WHAT THE HELL SAPNAP?! THE PLAN WAS TO STAY TOGETHER!" George yelled to the now long gone Sapnap.

"We had a plan-?" Bad asked, raising an eyebrow. George and Ant ignored him.

"Well now what!?" George asked Antfrost.

"I don't know!" Ant said. "There's no way we can catch up on foot and now they're both long gone!"

"We could catch the next train?" Bad offered, squinting at them.

"I guess we don't have a choice." George sighed loudly. He was obviously annoyed at the situation, but decided he needed to make his anger more obvious and make it everyone else's problem too.

"I'll go buy some tickets," Bad said. "I feel bad knowing we kinda broke in."

He walked up to the ticket station and asked for 3 tickets.

"Ok, just sign here." The man at the desk said, sliding over a piece of paper.

Bad squinted at the paper; It was really blurry.

"You ok? You seem to be squinting a lot." The man at the desk said.

"Yeah everythings just pretty blurry... Here right?" Bad said, kinda scribbling his Earth name onto where he was probably supposed to sign.

"You need glasses son? You can buy some at the gift shop if that's the problem." The man said kindly.

"Glasses?" Bad thought. He looked towards Ant who also had glasses on. "Thanks for telling me," He smiled at the man and grabbed the tickets.

Bad walked towards Ant and pulled off his glasses, turning them over to get a better look at them.

"What the heck Bad?!" Ant yelled.

Bad put them on, and things were clearer, but still kinda blurry. Ant grabbed them back and put them back on.

"What was that for?" Ant asked a little angrily, but mostly just confused.

"That guy over there said I might need glasses, but these are still blurry."

"Yeah well you didn't have to steal mine! There are different types of glasses, you probably need different ones."

"Why don't I normally need them then?"

"Well I don't need them as a cat, sometimes shifting makes stuff weird." Ant explained.

"Huh ok, can you help me then? We have a while until the next train." Bad said pointing towards the gift shop.

"Sure," Ant smiled and stood up.

After a while of looking between them, Bad for the glasses he needed. He put them on, and everything was as clear as it normally was, and he relaxed. He sat on the benches waiting for the train with George. Then the train came, and they got on.

I hope you like it so far, and there are many fight scenes to come. If there are any people reading this that isn't just me accidentally viewing as a reader instead of editing, leave a comment and say hi! Have a good day! (or night, but please sleep if its night, your head will thank you for it in the morning)
