(blood warning for this chapter, if that makes you uncomfortable, watch for the bolded lines and just skip the section in between them.)

Antfrost and Badboyhalo had gotten back up, taken a breath, and gotten ready to jump back into the fight with more of a plan. They could still hear Philza struggling in the tree, meaning he was safe from the fight, but also couldn't help them. They started to back up towards the entrance of the cave. Techno started to slash at Dream with his sword quickly to force him to back up with his shield out to protect him. Techno wasn't going for a kill, but Dream failed to realize he was being outplayed. Bad nodded silently to Ant as he slipped into the shadows of the cave. He couldn't be hurt or cause harm like this, but it worked well for hiding and sneaking around. Sapnap stood up from his place in the shadows revealing himself into the light.

Wait what? That wasn't part of the plan to corner Dream....

"HEY DREAM! COULDN'T KILL ME BEFORE, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU COULD DO IT NOW!?" Sapnap yelled.

Dream quickly evaluated his surroundings. No Bad, Philza, or George in sight, and Sapnap was obviously hurt. Techno was exhausted, and with no crystal to save him if he got hurt, he had taken a cautious step back from Dream.

If they had all been less focused on killing Dream, one of them might've realized how weird it was that Dream still wasn't getting that tired.

He said nothing, but there was an obviously confident evil glare under the mask as he lunged forward to the hardly armed Sapnap.

"Let's get one of them out of the way," Dream reasoned.

"Let's be reckless without consequence, the best type of reckless," Sapnap thought with adrenaline fueling him.

Dream had the extreme advantage with an axe and a shield, Sapnap sloppily holding an iron sword and no shield. Dream and Sapap were face to face with their weapons pressing against each other, waiting for one to snap, but of the literal shadows, a figure jumped out and latched onto Dream. Sapnap lost his guard in surprise and his sword slipped up being thrown to the side. Dream was struggling to get Bad off him, but used the opportunity of an unarmed Sapnap to slice his axe down.

"Agh!" Sapnap winced in his muffled scream and avoided looking at the wound. If he didn't think about it, it wouldn't hurt, right?

Sapnap was in the negatives with arms now,(Get it?) and blood was gushing out of where the limb should've been. His actual arm was off to the side somewhere, bleeding out on the cave floor. Bad's eyes went really wide witnessing all of the bloody chaos out and Dream was able to use the distraction to throw Bad off him and into a wall.

"Sapnap are you ok!?" Bad screamed from his spot on the wall.

"Tis but a scratch!" Sapnap yelled, picking up the sword with his still attached hand.

"YOUR FUCKING ARM IS ON THE FLOOR SAPNAP!" Ant yelled running towards Dream with his claws outstretched. Bad was too terrified of Sapnap to say "language" still watching the blood drip from his arm very fast. Dream swung his axe and Ant ducked, but Dream was able to spin low and kick him to another wall. Ant groaned and tried to stand back up, having to go more slowly this time.

Sapnap ran at him again sloppily with his still-attached arm yelling and holding a sword. Dream simply dogged his move and cut off his other arm. Literally everyone but Philza, still in the tree, was screaming, since Sapnap had no arms still attached to his body and he was losing a huge amount of blood. No one knew how he was still standing. Plus he had a broken ankle or foot or something- SERIOUSLY HOW THE HELL WAS THIS GUY STILL STANDING?!

"I'M INVINCIBLE!" Sapnap yelled running towards Dream yet again.

"You're a loony." Dream muttered as Sapnap ran towards him trying to kick him. Dream just walked a step to the side and Sapnap kept running, until he hit a wall and passed out.

"What the hell was that?" Techno asked.

Not even Dream knew the answer. Outside there was a victorious triumph and a thud on the ground. A faint "woooo" could be heard from Philza, who had apparently gotten out of the tree finally.

Dream was surrounded. Behind him were dark shadows and a wall, and in front of him was a partial circle formed by everyone still able to fight. Bad was near the shadows in case Dream tried to run into them to hide or find some secret escape, Ant had a potion in his hand that he downed in gulp with made him radiate with energy again, Techno had a sword in his hand in a fighting stance, and Philza was slightly behind the others with a shield, ready to jump in and shield everyone if needed. Dream was outnumbered and cornered. His body was twitching and his movements were frantic. There was a glowing twitch in the eyes painted onto the mask, and his head darted around to find an escape. He paused, and looked at the faces of the people cornering him.

"Give up Dream. You're surrounded." Bad said calmly, holding out his sword as it glistened in the light from the waterfall behind them.

There was a pause of silence over the group. No one dared to speak as Dream stood still.

"Am I?" Dream said, holding out something new. It was explosives. Everyone's eyes went really wide as they stared in horror.

"If I'm going down I'm taking all of you with me. And I know not all of you have crystals~" Dream's mask seemed to have more of an insane smile than it did before, and none of them could call it coincidence. Techno stepped back, and looked back to make sure Philza did too.

"You don't have time to run, so let me leave in peace and I won't light it. Simple as that." Dream said, putting his shield back into his void with no effort, and pulling out more explosives for his other hand.

Everyone glanced around each other nervously. If they let him go, they might not find him again, and he might not be true to his word, but on the other hand, if they didn't...

Bad lowered his sword with a defeated sigh, and Ant retracted his claws.

"Good choice." Dream put the explosives back into his hoodie pocket which was no doubt a magic bag of holding of some sorts.

Dream made it 2 steps forward before he felt something sharp and painful from behind. Looking down, he saw there was a sword through his chest which was starting to bleed rapidly.

"Hey Dream~" George smiled and pushed the sword deeper. Dream fell to his knees.

Dream was in pure shock staring at George. He started to bleed from the mouth, which was only seen as blood dripping from underneath the mask. George violently pulled the sword out, it was wet with blood. Dream bled faster.

The room was silent except for the heavy breathing of everyone exhausted from fighting.

Dream had no words to say.

He curled over, and poof! His body disappeared, with only the red stain on the ground to show he was ever there. Everyone in the room was in shock besides George, and Sapnap who was unconscious.

"So hey guys!" George said cheerily.

"Uhm-" Techno started before realizing he had nothing to say. "...ok then." He said slowly.

Sapnap was still passed out on the ground but hadn't gone poof yet, so technically he was still alive.

"Guess I have to kill both of my friends today," He sighed, and swung the blade onto Sapnap's neck to cut off his head, making his body go 'poof!' too.

"What the fuck." Philza said, dropping his shield to the ground.

"Language." Bad said.

The sun was ever so slightly starting to come up and the reflection of the waterfall was gorgeous, but everyone was inside so they couldn't see it yet.

After a few more moments of silence, Ant spoke up.

"So what now?" Was all he had to say.

"I dunno, me and Sapnap didn't plan that far." George shrugged.

"Wait, you two planned that!?" Yelled Bad.

"Yeah, he distracts Dream, and I kill him. You guys got in the way a bit, but it worked out!" George said, putting his hands on his hips and looking proud of himself like he did all of the work.

Everyone was still in shock of what the hell just happened, but they took a breath, realized what they saw actually did occur, and decided to try to move on. They couldn't let George inflate his ego too much after all.

"So now what?" Philza repeated what Ant had said and scanned the room.

"Well they'll respawn back at the hub, I assume you two know what that is?" Ant paused and Techno and Phil nodded. "And Dream will be captured and put in jail for the time being so he can't destroy things or kill anyone, until we figure out why he went insane."

"But what do we do?" Techno clarified a bit.

"Oh. Well if you guys want to come with us to the hub you can, or you can head back to your cottage?"

Philza and Techno looked at each other, smiled and nodded.

"I think we'll come with you. Neither of us want to clean up the cottage and it's probably good to make sure our friend hasn't burnt down our other home." Techno said. Nobody knew how he got all of that from a smile and a nod but they didn't question it.

"We live in an ice biome?" Philza with a questioning look.

"You never know." Techno shrugged.

"Ok! I think we should just walk back to the portal opening so we can save our crystals." Bad said.

"It takes roughly 15 mintues to respawn, so dying with a crystal wouldn't be too much faster and this way we can save the crystals if we need them again."

"Ok, which way is the portal?" George asked. Ant and bad both frowned at him.

"What?"

"You're the one with the trackpad George." Ant said.

"Oh right." George laughed nervously as he pulled it out, the orange and green dots now gone from the screen.

George soon found the direction they needed to head. They had to head back through the city after they rode the train again, and then walk through another forest, but now that they didn't have to watch their every step it would hopefully be a faster and more peaceful trip back.

"Should we all shift to human so the crowds don't see us?" Philza offered to Antfrost and Badboyhalo.

"I don't think I have the strength to, I've already shifted twice on earth without any time to rest." Badboyhalo said, sighing.

"Me neither, but I can still shift into a cat and walk with you guys, at least?" Antfrost said.

"And I'll put up my hood and wear gloves." Bad nodded and said, grabbing them out of the void which took significantly less energy than shifting into a human again.

Philza shifted and his wings disappeared into thin air, and Bad just looked like a cosplayer with a dark shadow on his face.

"I'll call Velvet real quick to tell him we're on our way for a quick heads up." Antfrost said.

"We killed Dream! So we're on our way now back to the portal."

Muffled noises from the other line.

"Oh?" Antfrost laughed a little. Bad gave him an odd look. Velvet and Ant were probably flirting or something.

More muffled sounds from the other side.

"Ok, we'll call you when we get there then. Also Sapnap died shortly after Dream so he should be respawning too."

More unable-to-hear-because-they-are-too-quiet sounds.

"Ok well we should start heading over now, love you!"

More probably adorable muffled sounds.

Ant hung up and put the communicator on his belt. "Ok, they have to open the portal manually for us to go through since it's on temp lockdown."

"Did you tell him about these two coming with us?" George pointed at Philza and Techno even though he already knew the answer.

Ant facepalmed, "I forgot."

"It's fine it won't change much, just a bit of surprise is all." Bad said.

"Yeah I guess so. Let's get going." Ant said, and then shifted into a normal siamese house cat with a cute cyan bandana. Philza made an "aww" sound at Ant and Techno rolled his eyes.

George pointed to the direction they needed to head in and they walked through the forest peacefully. It really was beautiful when you didn't have a murderer chasing you.
