Going Back in History Part 2

Splie's POV:

I wake up to a beautiful, breathtaking morning. It's cool, making comfortable to wear my new outfit that I just bought from the Tailor Shop across the market from me. I opened up my shop for the day, preparing the potions to be sold to the customers. Minutes later, a few Christian healers bought out my entire shop of potions. It's a shame that I have to make more, but I got a LOT of gold and silver from them, which is a good pro from this.

I take my time counting my coins, and a Templar Knight came into the store in a hurry. "Sir, do you have any more Instant Health potions?" The Templar asked, "No. The healers bought me out of everything." I answered, "Damn it!" he replied. I hear a loud war horn go off, I then hear catapults launching big rocks, crashing into buildings.

"You got to get out of here! The city is under attack!" A Gline guard shouted. I grab my large satchel(Black Shulker Box) full of survival items I may need. First thing I do, is run up to the castle meeting the King and Queen with a few guards protecting them. "My King! My Queen! Are you two okay?" I shouted over the noise of the catapults.

"We're fine, but we need a way out of here." King Giroldus said, "This way, my King!" The Gline guard shouted. Just as the guard pointed us the way out, the gate busted open and Islamic warriors flooded in taking out the guards and the Templar knights swiftly. We exited the city by using the mines. A big group both peasants and Templar knights followed suit behind us, we successfully got outside the city. Luckily, there's Islam warriors close by.

We all watched as fire and smoke filled the city. "What do we do now, Giroldus?" A Gline guard asked, "Yea, what are we going to do? We lost our homes, where do we go?" A peasant asked. I sat there quiet, coming up with an idea to help Gline's people. "I got an idea! Why not settle at Black Beard Inn for a day or two? I have a few friends that would love to help us out!" I suggested. Everyone gave me a puzzled look. "Come on, I know where it is." I said jestering to follow me.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Splie." Giroldus says out of hesitation, "I know what I'm doing, just follow me." I reassured him.

We all walk for a good few miles through the woods and arrived at Black Beard Inn, it's still guarded by Hospitaller knights. "We're here. I promise you, you'll be okay here." I said before opening the door. Everyone turned the door and stared at us as we walked to the center of the building. Luke, Ben, and Steve recognized us. "Hey Splie, welcome back!" Luke greeted, "Why are you all here? By the way, we don't allow kids in here." Luke said. I frowned, "Gline got attacked..." I answered. Everyone in the Tavern gasped.

"What..? That's impossible, Gline is the most secured Christian city in all over Minecraftia." Steve said in shock, "Not as secure as you we all thought." I replied, "We need a place to stay for a while." King Giroldus said, "Well, you all can stay for the night. But, you can't stay here any longer than that." Ben said.

"Monk Giroldus, sit down with me. I want to talk to you about something." Luke jestered.

Luke's POV:

The King and I sat down at a table in the corner of the Inn. "What is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Giroldus asked intrigued, "Shasta is your son, right?" I asked, "Yes, why?" he replied, "Shasta is alive, I ran into a him a couple of nights ago." I answered. The King was surprised to hear this, months after he went missing. "He is? Where is he now?" The king asked out of anxiety.

I wish I knew where Shasta was living now, just as much his dad does. "I... don't know." I replied, "I think you'll have to ask Splie or Dave, I believe they may know where he is." I added. King Giroldus and I walked up to Splie when he wasn't talking to anyone. "Splie, is it true that Shasta is alive?" the King asked, "Yes.. It's true." Splie replied, "Why didn't you tell me?" Giroldus asked, "Cause he asked us not to tell you." Splie answered.

"Where is he?" Giroldus questioned, "I don't I should take you there." Splie reluctantly responded. The King and Queen had a confusing look on their faces after hearing that. "Why not? Is there something we need to know?" Edelina asked, "Well, Shasta isn't the Shasta you once knew.. He's a werewolf!" Splie said and whispered the word 'werewolf'. The music stops and everyone in the Inn laughed. "Werewolves are a myth." The Bartender said, "Oh, but that's where you're all wrong. They are real! I'll soon see one someday. Don't forget that.." Splie explained.

Splie's POV:

Monk Giroldus and Edelina really want to see their son, my friend Shasta. I don't blame them, I guess I'll take them over there tomorrow afternoon. "I'll tell you what, I will take you to where he is. As long as you don't tell or bring anyone else along. Tomorrow." I bargained, "Very well." The King and Queen agreed.

Shasta's POV:

"Good morning everybody, I hope you all got some rest and ready to go! I won't force you to come on this journey! If any of you want to back out from this trip, do it now!" I announced. Twenty-five wolves took two steps closer to me showing that they want to take this trip. "Very well. Diana, lead the way." I said, "Yes, Alpha!" she obliged. "Babe, wait." Sadie shouts. I turn around and Sadie jumps on me giving me a big bear hug. "You owe me a date when you come back, Shasta~!" She said before giving me a kiss.

"Don't worry, you'll get that date." I replied with a charming smile. "One more thing, Sadie." I said. She turns around and faces me. "I love you." I shouted, "I love you too, babe~!" Sadie replied. I start following Diana up the mountain with part of the pack behind me in our Wolf Forms.

Splie's POV:

I'm walking into the taiga forest with the King and Queen of Gline behind me and it happens to be snowing, making it hard to walk in the cold weather. A good ten minutes of walking, Soure came into view! Looking sturdy as ever. "This is where Shasta lives, welcome to Soure!" I said. We walk to the Gatehouse and was stopped by one of the werewolves in armor. "Who are you? State your business!" one of the Werewolves demanded, "I am Monk Giroldus, King of Gline, and Shasta's son." Giroldus answered. The two werewolves exchanged looks with each other for a minute. "I suppose you can come in, please wait here for a second." A werewolf guard said going into the village.

Sadie came outside. "Hello, you're Shasta's dad?" Sadie asked, "Yes. Is he here?" GIroldus asked, "Sadly no, you just missed him. He left to check out something not far from here. He'll be back in a few days. Please, follow me." Sadie said. We went into the brewery, I was met by Dave. "Whoa! Splie, you're looking sharp!" Dave complimented, "Thanks, but that's not why we're here." I replied. All five of us sat down at the big table on the main floor. "Are you actually Shasta's parents?" Sadie questioned, "Yes we are." Edelina answered, "I now know where he got his looks from." Sadie said blushing.

"Who are you?" Giroldus asked, "I am Sadie, I am Shasta's girlfriend." She said blushing more. "That's awesome! Does he treat you well?" Edelina asked, "He treats very well." Sadie replied. "I have a question, Shasta told me he ran away from your Royal Kingdom. He hasn't told me his past. Why did he leave?" I asked, "I'm wondering the same thing!" Dave and I said in unison.

"Well, I was being selfish towards him all my life. He wanted to do more than just be a King of Gline I wanted to destined him to be... On his Nineteenth birthday, I hosted a Royal Ball where Shasta would have to pick a princess from another kingdom to marry.. But he didn't want any of that, I pushed him to the edge and he ran away. That's why he left..." Giroldus explained in full detail. Sadie, Dave, and I were all in shock. "I regret doing that to this day, I feared the worst after these two months of him missing. I thought he might have got killed." Monk Giroldus said frowning the entire time.

Shasta's POV:

We arrived at the Wolf temple, and boy.. was it a harsh trip! It's deep in the mountain range, even the Temple is inside a mountain! It's covered in moss and some parts of the structure. There's also a tiny monument between the two doors of the Temple, with a statue that looks exactly like the Werewolf Goddess!

"This is it!" Diana announced, "Right. I'll head into the Temple first. I bet this place is rigged with traps." I informed heading inside. I tread carefully inside, it's dark inside. Who am I kidding? This place is thousands of years old, of course it's dark!

I step on a tripwire and an arrow hits my back, then I hear a sound 'ding' sounds. I'm glad that I made this armor with the right amount of diamond shards and Iron ore. I managed to disarm the rest of the traps. "All clear." I shouted. Everyone came in with a few torches, lighting up the big room.

The center room has a huge dining area,

the right wing has a big armory with everything a smith needs,

last but not least.. the left wing has a room FULL of books! There's a lot of painting of the Werewolf Goddess, a lot of books about the Werewolf Goddess. Most of them told me how they fought battles in their early Eras.

I searched for a while longer and found important information about the Werewolf Goddess and the Werewolf people! What caught my eye while I was reading.

========================================================

The page says:

During the early 9th century, Werewolves have became a big part of both Mief'wa and Human races. They help protect the ones who can't protect themselves. Assist one another during battles, for centuries. The Werewolves have high talents in combat, agility, and smithing in both weapons and armor.

The Werewolf Goddess was loved and respected by all races ever since her introduction as a new Religion. Later on, the Werewolf Goddess was slowly getting weaker. She lost most of her power due to her not having many followers. Her religion had completely died out and was forgotten.

========================================================

After reading this, I understand why the Werewolf Goddess was never heard of. I look around more in the left wing, finding other books that has the knowledge of Werewolves. I decided to check out the right wing, it has a big forge, a couple of crafting tables, and a massive anvil.  This room had light emitting from beacons and candles. There was a few armor stands with random pieces of armor remaining on them. As I walk further into the armory, there is a ton of containers full of old beer bottles and books on how to forge weapons.

I found one organized set of armor, it has heavy shoulder plating, a large breastplate on the front, a thick helmet with brass outlining, semi-thin chainmail, a light gray tabard with a dark gray wolf emblem on the front and the back.

Luckily, I brought a large Wooden Crate(White Shulker Box) with me. I carefully put the old set of armor into the crate. "What did you find, Alpha?" A werewolf asked, "I found a set of ancient wolf armor." I answered closing the crate. Diana walks into the right wing. "Why are you taking it?" Diana asked, "I want to makes some copies of this armor." I replied, "Alpha, you're too geeky!" Diana joked. I chuckled as I picked up the crate.

Meanwhile at Gline...

King Aafiq sits on the Royal Throne, Layla kneels down before the Muslim King. "Now that we captured Gline, how long would it take for Shasta to find out?" Layla asked. Aafiq scratches his scruffy beard for a few seconds in silence. "In time, Layla.. In time..." Aafiq calmly answered. "What Giroldus doesn't know, is that we have spies following them." He said informing Layla.

*You see two Islamic knights overlooking Soure.*
